I wanted to make a Siri Shortcut that lets me upload a screenshot to Airtable. In my Airtable I have these fields: Screenshot ID (autonumber) Screenshot attachment Descriptive text I got pretty far but either the webhook doesn’t allow images or I’m doing something wrong. I set up the shortcut to make the webhook request using the “Get contents of URL” command in shortcuts. Under “Request body” I selected “Form” and then told the shortcut to send the screenshot and some text to describe it. That seems to be the only way shortcuts allows files to be sent out, the other options are text only. When I test the integration in airtable, it works as long as I’m not trying to send an image. My logo is no longer uploading. The instructions tell me to upload it as an URL, but all attempts to creat a URL out of it and upload it have failed. Why the change from what was perfect, and how do I get my logo image up? Thanks! Anne

I’m currently on the Team Plan and building a survey using Interface Forms. However, I encountered an issue where I can no longer add more elements. The error message says:“Your change was reverted because your interface is too big. Try deleting some elements.”My form currently has 249 elements, and all of them are required for the survey — so deleting any of them isn’t an option.May I ask if there’s a way to increase the element limit or an alternative solution to accommodate more questions within the same Interface Form?Thank you in advance for your help!Best regards!

I am using a Free account right now and have a fairly simple automation where every month, if a record as Due Date in the past, the Benefit Interval is 1 I want to update two fields. I want to update the Due Date to the next month, and change the Status to “Unused”. I have successfully tested and run this when there is a single record that meets the criteria however when there is more than one record it errors out. Here is the one that works.  However when two records meets the Find Records criteria and get the error “Received invalid inputs.” Works like a champ for a single record update, just not multiple

Different Interfaces and Button functionality is messing with my head.  Can someone help me please.The Interface “SUB QR Management & Generation” using a Blank page view seems to be one closest view that meets my needs the most.  This is what the outcome needs are:1. Once all the Trades and Subs have been allocated for each Job within a Project, I want to generate QRs (Quote Requests) for the whole Project with one button click.2. I then want to be able to view all the QRs by Sub (with their Jobs listed, grouped by Trade) as a double-check that the QRs per Sub are correct.3. I then want to generate QR PDFs (using DocsAutomator) both by Project and individual QRs with another button.4. And finally I want to email the PDF to the Sub (individually Sub by Sub) with another button.5. This is all normally done in one sitting so I would ideally want the whole process to be on one Interface page or any solution that doesn’t require me to k

I’d like to have a progress bar (from a percentage field) on displaying the live progress on our website. I’m having a surprisingly hard time finding tool that will actually allow me to do this. Obviously I can do it by embedding an interface, but I only need (and want) the progress bar from the specific record embedded. Airtable interfaces aren’t customisable enough to remove the extra fluff.There must be a third party tool that can turn a simple piece of data into progress bar - any pointers for a tool to try? Softr could do it, but unfortunately the embed block option is at a higher subscription tier than we can justify. $139/mo is a bit pricey to display a progress bar.

I feel like I’m missing something pretty easy. I’m having a hard time converting what I do in Excel into our Airtable base. Each year our clients' total sales (a rollup of their sales for a given year) converts to shares based on a sales/shares tier. The tier changes every year. Because of this, we want to track the data historically. For example:Client ABC’s 2024 Total Sales were $250,000 and they earned 4 shares based on the 2024 shares tier.Client ABC’s 2025 Total Sales were again $250,000, but this year they earned 2 shares because the tiers changed in 2025. We need to track the tier changes each year as to keep data integrity of the shares earned each year by our clients. (We don’t want ABC’s 2024 points to change from 4 to 2, which it would if we use a nested if formula - the change in criteria for 2025 would mean an edit to the formula which would have a cascade affect and change all previous year's data.) ANNUAL

I have someone who is set as an editor, but she doesn’t have the ability to edit the form associated with the base and can’t delete columns from the base.  These seem like some basic functions and editor should have and I’m trying to figure out if I did something wrong or if creators/admin would be the only ones to be able to do those sorts of edits.  It may have been this way all along and I just never realized it until yesterday.

Table 1 is a database of completed projects, table 2 is a list of invoices. How do I have the linked field in table 1 link to the next available invoice # in table 2? The invoice #s cannot be duplicated and I’d like them to stay chronological. All of this is currently set up, but it’s done manually. First, by searching what invoice # is next then in table 1 under the invoices field, create a new record with the next invoice # in line. Is there a simpler way to do this? Table 1 Table 2

Hello - I just upgraded to the Pro-plan because it said the org chart allows you to “view hierarchical links between linked records” - but what I didn’t realize until now is that only works for fields within the same table. I’m trying to view how I’ve linked my tables (which I built in the “free” version) - I need to see this visually with connector lines showing the relationships (one to one, one to many, etc) between the tables - can someone help me figure out how to view all of these relationships at once on the page with connector lines? I’ve scoured the help resources and cannot find it. I’m worried this doesn’t exist?!!

What is the calculation behind the Timeline Utilization summary?  I am trying to create a formula column that displays a resources utilization in the Resources table, to be used as a metric on a landing page.I tried ((({Task Count} * 8) * {% Commitment} ) / (40 * {% Availability)) , but it does not match what AirTable is showing on the Timeline view.  The task count is the number of tasks for the current day. Is there a way to simply access the calculated value? Thank you,

I am trying to understand how Airtable API Rate limits work. It says The API is limited to 5 requests per second per base. If you exceed this rate, you will receive a 429 status code and will need to wait 30 seconds before subsequent requests will succeed. Is the limit per base per API key or per base per IP address?. Saw an answer in the forum but it is 4 years old and mentions airtable plans to change how it works. I ran a simple code to try and trigger rate limiting but airtable api was able to successfully respond to more than 20 api requests per second without running into api throttling

Is the API Rate Limit tied to an API Key? Or to an APP ID? Or a combination of both? I have developed several websites that pull and/or sync data with Airtable, and while none of them individually will generate more than 5 requests per second, I’m now concerned that (since they’re all using the same API Key) they will collectively generate more than 5 requests per second. However, if the Rate Limit is tied to the API Key and APP ID, I have nothing to worry about as each application is built using a different Airtable Base. Please advise! Thanks!

Hi, in order to consent my bank service platform to receive api requests from airtable, I need to put on his whitelist the ip address from which API Requests comes.Reading documentation I found they should be 52.44.24.118 and 3.215.151.50but not working...Any suggestions?ThanksPeppe

Dear Airtable community I need your help, please. We’re currently using Pipedrive (PD) to track our customers throughout the sales process and I’d really like to automate adding information to Airtable (AT). Does anyone know if there is a way that, when an orders is WON on PD that this customer record can automatically be created in AT? We have broadly similar fields, but from looking at Zapier, I can only see this linked to all activity updates/ creation of records, but not specifically something that ‘runs’ when an order is WON. Hi, I am pretty new to this and not a developer. We are using Airtable for our product database for our Shopify store, and have Airpower as the sync between them. This works pretty good, but there is one major thing we need that Airpower does not support.We need the number of "committed" inventory of the products to sync from Shopify into Airtable in real-time. Right now, the Airpower Inventory sync only brings the "available" number through, but both are required for us, and we need the data to by syncing constantly so it's up to date.Is this something we could use a webhook for? Or is there a simpler process?

Is there a way to use Airtable sync to conditionally sync data from one base to another? I need to only sync specific records and not all of the records in table.If it is not possible using Airtable sync, is there any other way of accomplishing this?

When creating a PRD or similar and I want to copy a User into the file so they are aware of the update I have always used the @ sign and selected the email from the dropdown list. When I then come out of this the email has automatically been sent. Do I also need to set up an automation? I have not done this previously as it is not always to the same person / group.
