Hi there! I’m just curious how I enforce unique values in a column or a group of columns – that is, how to enforce a unique constraint. So that I don’t, for example, accidentally enter the same person (combination First Name + Last Name) twice.

I can't find the base and the table I created when I want to link it to Tally. 

Hi there, I’m trying to set up an airtable automation to update an existing record in a table “new members” after that member submits additional information through the airtable form I’ve embedded on my website. The form is set up to automatically add their Memberstack ID to the new submission so I can match it to existing records and use this to update them but I cannot get the automation to work as it seems to be based on the Record ID field, not Memberstack ID. Can anyone help me out Thanks in advance Charlie

Hi there — I suspect the answer is ‘you can’t’, but is there any way to restrict a user to only be allowed to upload a single attachment to an attachment field in a Form view?

I have created a form to create new Project records. Each project requires a unique ID which matches a particular format (XXXX-000).How can I make sure that no-one uses an existing unique ID when filling out the form? I really need to avoid duplicate Projects, as creating a new Project has a lot of downstream actions which can get messed up if an ID already exists.I have another form which can create new versions of an existing Project, which I can use as a redirect URL if necessary.Many thanks in advance!

I'm trying to set up an automation so an email is sent out to a client when their video's status changes to CLIENT REVIEW. Specifying that wasn't a problem. However, when testing it, I keep getting an error message that the To field is empty. I've mapped it to a field containing an email address, and specified the exact record to use set to the correct Status, but keep getting this error. The token is set to pull the Value. I've tried the other options but get the same (non) result.How do I get this to work?Thanks

Today I noticed that the images I add are not showing up in the grid, kanban, Gallery, and Interface view. Some of the pictures will show once you click on them but they wont show as a thumbnail. and when I click to view other images they don't show the thumbnail nor the image, they only show an error message. I started to troubleshoot by trying to attach different image types and sizes but to no avail. I also tried attaching the same exact images from records I made last week but they too are now showing this error image:“Previews for this filetype are not available”File: dsc_6285(2).webp - 10.8 KBThe 3rd image will show when I click on it but it wont show as a thumbnail. The images I attached last week are showing up still, as a thumbnail. look at where the red arrow is pointing.  To clarify, yes, I am only clicking the “Add Attachment” button to upload my images. No automation.  I’d be very grateful if anyone can help. Please let me know

Problem: I have a membership table with members listed by name. I want to keep people from typing their information into the membership form on our website that feeds into the table twice. There is no way that I can see for me to set a field to not allow duplicate entries. I would like to set the phone number as the unique identifier for each member. I see no way to select or set this field to not allow duplicates. I know I could that in Access by setting it as primary, but I can’t do that in Airtable.

Hello! Anyone know how to set or change your name in this new community platform?I signed in with SSO, it just assigned me this name (jon21), and I don’t seem to have any way to change it 🙄. I also never received the ‘Welcome’ badge, in case that impacts how I initialise in the platform.

How do I change my community display name.When I established my community profile a few years ago, I inadvertently picked -airtable- as my display name.I need to change this because community members think I am AirTable when, in fact, I am just a customer. I’m trying to create a system that generates simple codes from employees’ SSNs for internal use. The SSN is stored as numbers, e.g., 123-45-6789.I want to create a new formula field that converts each number into a letter using a reverse alphabet mapping:Z = 1, Y = 2, X = 3 … A = 26For example: 1 → Z 2 → Y 0 → J (or another letter of choice) Is there a formula in Airtable that can do this conversion directly?For reference, numberstoletters.com does similar conversions, but I want to implement it directly in Airtable.

Hello! I am trying to create a line chart in an interface that shows the number of records (leads in this instance) we received this financial year vs last financial year. I essentially want to see how we are tracking in comparison. What is the best way to go about it? I have created a formula which indicates what FY the record was created in to assist with grouping but I just cant get it to display correctly.Thanks in advance for your help! 😊

I am pulling in data from a webhook to create entries.  I need to prevent entries from being created if they already exist.Is there a way to use the Find Records and Conditions to prevent this from happening?If so perhaps there is a guide somewhere?  This is a very confusing part of Airtable imo.

Hey guys, I have two tables—Email Info and IPT. When a checkbox is clicked in Email Info for any domain,  the domain and any one corresponding email address and its ID should be updated in IPT. I may select multiple checkboxes at the same time.Inbox details have multiple emails and ids. 

Formula field {Allocation Form Recipients} = IF({Send Allocation Form},{Conditional Recipients Rollup (from Payment Schedule)}) where {Conditional Recipients ...} is a rollup field and {Send Allocation Form} is a checkbox field. Formula field {Approval Email Subject Tag} = IF( AND({Term Deal},{Allocation Form Recipients}), 'Recoupment Allocation', 'Payment' ) where {Term Deal} field is a rollup and {Allocation Form Recipients} is a formula field which I explained in #1. When the {Term Deal} rollup is empty and the {Allocation Form Recipients} formula field is also empty, the {Approval Email Subject Tag} should show 'Payment' but it shows 'Recoupment Allocation'. I tried to troubleshoot this by creating 2 separate formula fields stated below: a. _check = IF({Term Deal},1,0) b. _check copy = IF({Allocation Form Recipients},1,0) Surprisingly, these 2 formula fields work as expected. Meaning where Term Deal is blank

Hi AirTable Community, I’ve been struggling with WORKDAY_DIFF formula. My team tracks reports using Airtable. We set an attendance date (AD) and a report type that are set/selected. Based on the report type, I have a formula that will add a certain number of days to the AD to calculate the draft due date (DDD). There is also an option to assign a due date should we need to override the calculated date.  Formula as follows:IF({Assigned Draft Due Date}, {Assigned Draft Due Date}, SWITCH({Report Type / Tasks}, 'ACM - ASMP', WORKDAY({Attendance Date}, 5), 'ACM - Audit/Survey Report', WORKDAY({Attendance Date}, 8),    etc., etc. for every report type.  My operations team also want a ‘Days Overdue Field’ so that they can quickly see if a report is overdue. The WORKDAY_DIFF field I know includes both the start date and the end date in its calculations, I can negate this by minusing 1 day in the formula. But

Hi Community, I have an issue with an automation - I have created this, so that when a new organisation is added, they automatically get added to my H&S Declaration table - however everytime I turn the automation on it creates a random selection of additional duplicate records in the trigger table (Organisation)? Any pointers on what I am doing wrong? Thanks 

On one of my interfaces, I added a calendar element when opening record details. It works great on desktop, but the calendar element is cut and unusable on mobile. Has anybody else had a similar issue?I tried to move the element at the bottom and middle of the record details card, but no success so far.
