Hi everyone, I’m teaching a course which requires students to label and recognize certain kinds of sentences. I have a list of sentences for them to practice on in a table and the answers in the next column. I’d like to set up a kind of self-study tool for students. The Flashcard App would work really well for that, can I somehow share that with my students? It’d be even better if I could randomize it. The ideal use scenario would be a multiple choice test that would grab, say, 10 examples and then reveal the correct answers to students when they submit. But I’ll take what I can get! Thanks!

Hi everyone,In our workflow, it’s really important to be able to see multiple dates for the same record, not just a single start/end range. We know the Calendar view allows multiple date fields, but the challenge is that Calendar displays events vertically, while what we need is a continuous, horizontal view like the Timeline.Has anyone found a workaround or creative solution to display multiple dates side by side in Timeline view (similar to how Calendar supports it)? Any tips or best practices would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance 🙏

Dear Airtable Community,I’d love to get your support. In our timeline view, I schedule our technicians. Most of these technicians are from the assembly department, but occasionally we also have technicians from the service or maintenance departments helping out.I’d like to visually distinguish the technicians from the other departments in the timeline view, but I can’t seem to find a way to do this.Do you have any ideas on how I could set this up?  

I can't wrap my head around this restriction on interface designs. If you have a linked record picker, but the field has a dynamic filter on it, then Airtable will not allow you to show the list of linked records as “cards.” You can only see them as “pills,” i.e. name only, without any additional context from the records’ fields.  I have a field directly above this one where the user can see cards with additional information when they're trying to select the appropriate record to link. I can't figure out any obvious reason why a dynamic filter should create a situation where you would not be able to access and display the fields for those linked records. If it's just a UX design decision on Airtable's part, I don't understand why they would see limiting a user or builder's access to their own data as a good thing. 

Hello! I wonder if you might give a way of offsetting the “Q1”, “Q2”, etc markers on the Gantt timeline, to support a fiscal year that does not match the calendar year. Or, if not that, to hide the markers altogether. I realize there’s a way to use formulas to have fields reflect an offset fiscal year based on dates, but I don’t believe it’s possible to change this header and it’s very confusing for viewers. Thanks!

Since the latest update, when looking at our Interface the data is getting jumbled.  eg. we allocate workers to projects and they are correct on our Base, however when we look on the Interface on a mobile phone the columns seem to mix up and Workers are appearing against the incorrect projects. Has anyone else experienced this or have a fix for this?

How do you reinstate a deleted record? It’s been 24 hours since we've noticed - is there a way to revert to a previous version?

Hi all, Does anyone have a suggestion on the best way to link tables to automatically create a weekly meeting agenda?I currently use a main table to list a number of construction projects, with each row being a certain project as per the example screenshot below. I would like to create a second table for a meeting agenda which only shows the projects ‘in construction’. A simple agenda would have the columns Item, Lead, Status, and Update/Action Items.I’m leaning towards a second table rather than a filtered view so I can also add other items to the agenda (such as Strategy or General Business).What’s the best way to create this?Thanks in advance,Andrew

I am testing an automation setup where a user fills out a form with a multiple select field to indicate the social media platforms and post types they wish to share content on around a singular topic (i.e., they could select Instagram - Story, Facebook - Post and Instagram - Post all at once) and then an automation that creates new records in a separate table for each of the post types selected in that form (so, three entries based on the example I shared above). These created records are also linked to the initial table with a linked records field.The issue I have is figuring out how to update the records in the second table if anything changes in the first table (i.e., the name of the post topic or the social posts desired). I’ve attached my automation setup and am just stuck on how to populate the Platform + Post Type field when the first automation that creates the individual records for each of the multi select options chosen in the initial form.Does anyone know h

I have set up a basic 1-way sync that does not delete records in the archive base when deleted in the main base.Can I consider record comments to be lost? Or does anyone know a way to copy them to a text field?thx

Hi! I work with an appraisal firm. Each appraiser has his own Airtable base to track jobs and expenses and commissions. When a record in their base is invoiced and a checkbox marked, a record of that job is created in my Payroll base so I know to pay them on the next payroll. I have it set so that if changes were made to the record in the Appraisers' base, Make.com would search the Payroll base. If the record already existed in the Payroll base, it would update the record. If it didn't already exist, the record would be created. It all of a sudden stopped working. It isn't recognizing that the record already exists in the Payroll base. I didn't make any changes to the scenario in Make or the bases in Airtable. Initially I planned to have a form with the reminder listed in the form description section. I was informed that some of our employees have learning disabilities, and will require assistance reading the information. Is there a way to have video play after the description of the form? Hi All! I am creating a form in Airtable and would love to allow users to see specific text based on their responses. I am familiar with using conditional form fields, but they seem to be limited to fields that require a response. I’d like to do something similar, but just with next that would inform the form user. Does anyone know if this is an existing functionality or if there are plugins to make it possible? Thank you!

After entering/editing a notes field on mobile app I am unable to exit using the arrow at top left of screen. I tap it and there is no response.  

I am creating an Interface for our company. The goal is to create an overview page, where our employees can see all they need, e.g. Links (which is easy) but also e.g. a summary of their working hours.The problem is: I don’t know where I can find the “Toolbox”, with which I can add elements to the page. If this is not possible in the overview page, I can create a different page which is dedicated to e.g. the working hours. But here I have the same problem: I can’t find the “Edit” button that leads me to the Toolbox. I hope the pictures explain the issue. Permissions: I am an admin and creator/collaborator in the base/interface. I tried to make myself a Builder (from the admin of our org), but we can’t find the “builder” option anywhere. What you can see in the screenshot is a record review page, and I would like to add an element to the top of the page that sums up all the overtime hours the employee has accumulated.

Hi everyone,My company has ~100–150 employees with a small dev team of 2–3 developers. Our developers are looking to start building custom Interface Extensions for Airtable, while still allowing some of our more technical team members to continue using Omni to build simple bases themselves. I’d like to set up proper version control in GitHub so the dev team can collaborate effectively. My main questions: Do you use GitHub (or another system) for version control with Airtable custom extensions? If so, do you manage everything in a monorepo(shared libs + extensions for multiple bases) or separate repos per base? Any best practices for balancing developer workflows with contributions from more technical, but non-developer, teammates? Would love to hear how others are approaching this. Thanks!

I spent the last 4h hitting my head with the keyboard and trying to find a solution by myself, so, no solution found, and, here I am.Scenario:2 tables: table A and table BTable A, has a linked filed to table B, and this last table contains several recordsBasically it is 1:n relation Ok. Now I setup a blank page on interface designer.I select a record picker for table A. No issues hereAnd, I select a record picker for Table A, but linked field to table B. (which effectively displays only those values from the table B that are available/linked to table A)The button triggers an automation which contains a script.  The idea -that is not working- is that the script should grab the value from the first record picker, which is the field recorded on Table A, and the value of the second record picker which is the linked field on table A pointing to table B.What is the issue? when I defined the variables, I declared field1
