Hi,Does anybody know why the comment section in Airtable interface is not loading/ working properly? This has been happening in multiple bases since a couple of weeks and I'm wondering if there is a fix for this bug.  Thanks!

I am trying to create an automation to tag Donors as recurring when they make a donation that has a recurrence of more than 1. One table has Donors, and the other has Donations and a field called “Recurrence Number.” I tried to set it up so that when a donation record enters the view “recurring” (because the donation has a recurrence number higher than 1) the Donor in the linked record field has a field updated to tag them as a “recurring donor.” But i keep getting the error “the record does not exist and am not sure why. 

Hello! I am trying to build a Base/Automation in Airtable to count how many times an event occurs in a week, and then add/subtract it. Essentially, to count how many times customers use the events that they paid for, and then subtract it from the events they have remaining. I set up a Pivot Table to do the count, but I am not sure how to set up the Table with the actual schedule in it, without have to create new fields/columns each week. Specifically, I am having trouble figuring out how to set this up in terms of the fields and columns. It’s the same time blocks each week, I’m just having trouble figuring out the skeleton of this table in the base… I looked through the Help and Templates section, but none of them seem to address this particular part of the scheduling process…  Any ideas/advice would be welcome, I’m sure this isn’t a unique use-case, I’m just having trouble with this one table… Thank You!

Hi everyone, We’re experiencing an issue with how linked records display in our Airtable base, and I’m hoping someone can help. Our setup includes two tables: Jobs and DS. Each job can be linked to one or more DS records. However, when we create a new job and link a DS record to it, the DS record doesn’t immediately appear—it remains hidden until we refresh the page. This makes our workflow a bit frustrating, as we have to manually refresh to see the newly linked records. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any ideas on what might be causing it or how to fix it? I’ve attached a screenshot for reference. Appreciate any insights! Thanks in advance!

Once I start the Airtable app on Windows 10 it fills up the entire screen. I am unable to size it smaller like I can do with a typical window by dragging the edges. How to fix this?

Bonjour, j’ai besoin d’un coup de pouce…J’ai deux champs C et P liés à une table N.J’ai besoin de vérifier si  les valeurs du champs P sont bien inclues dans le champs C. Dans ces champs les valeurs peuvent être entrées dans des ordres différents. Le résultat serait par exemple le remplissage d’un champ “TEST” renseigné automatiquement “OK” si vrai et “NON OK” si faux.Je n’y arrive pas que ce soit avec une formule ou un script. En essayant aussi les lookup et rool up. Bref je me noie… Auriez-vous une méthode claire à me donner ? Merci de votre aide.Si possible je cherche une solution sans automatisation.Chris

Needing the ability for a manager to oversee tasks while various team members do their parts as it moves through a recurring monthly process.If the manager is assigned all tasks they’re responsible for managing, it looks like they have about 240 things to do when that’s not really accurate, making it challenging for the manager to parse out their real to-do’s vs the tasks they’re responsible for but are currently being working on by someone else. If the manager is not assigned to the tasks, it’s difficult for them to monitor the progress of all tasks. Example: A manager is responsible for 60 client tasks being completed in a month, moving through a kanban board for various stages and assignees doing their part. 4 other team members have action items for all the tasks at various points. How can the manager see progress of their tasks while the action item is with someone else? Basically, the manager needs an accurate view of their actual action item

Hi! I’m trying to create an automation that is basically:If publish date is yesterday and status is not ‘published’ then the publish date updates to today.  I saw some people mentioning creating a TODAY() formula field and using that as a dynamic trigger. Questions with this:How will this field affect already existing records?  What needs to be added between the parentheses of the TODAY() formula?

Is there a non-scripting way to filter out specific filenames from an attachment field? Interface look up field displaying jackets of manuscripts. Want to show all images bar those with the filename “Placeholder.png” Had hoped for an “Only include linked records where ‘Jacket’ ‘filenames does not contain’ but missing that one.Or a formula where I can use FILTER into a second field but still display an image?Didn’t want to use scripting as want to keep as a look up  but maybe I’m missing something? Any ideas appreciated!   

Hello, I’ve recently come across Airtable as I’m researching how to create a local business directory website. This tool seems really helpful for creating databases, however I’m not sure how this can be incorporated into my site, I’m building my own website, my dev knowledge is not vast right now as I have some refreshing to do, but it’ll just be in HTML/Javascript. Is it possible to incorporate this into my site, and then modify the appearance with some CSS? If so, can anyone help provide information or point me in the direction of the help article for this?Thank you!

Hi all,I need to generate a 4 digit code from the year a record was created and how many records have come before in that year.E.g the 5th record that has been created in 2023 = 2305.I have reformatted the referral date DATETIME_FORMAT({Date of Referral},"YY") but unable to get a COUNTIF function to work to count how many referrals have been made before this one where the referral date is in the same year.

I've been trying to find out what counts towards my automation run; however, either I can't find it, or I'm constantly overlooking the something.Basically I just want to have a solid grasp on what adds towards my automation limit?Is it just counted every time an automation runs?Does steps in the automation also count?Does loops count as one or multiple runs?

I'm experiencing issues with error notifications in automations. Notifications have been disabled for all accounts, yet some accounts are still receiving them.Is there a setting that overrides the user's notification preferences in their interface?

I have my form embedded on our site, and I don’t want the title to show. Is there a way to hide it? I tried deleting the title on the form within AirTable, but it won’t let me have no title.

All,I am trying to create a simple automation that for some reason, wont work.   On my “Trips” table I have a date submitted field.  When this field is populated, I want all the corresponding expenses that are listed on the “Receipt Log” table to be updated with a submission date.  I created a view on my Trips table to show all records that have the date submitted field populated and I use that view as my trigger.  I then do a “Find Records” action that shows all the expenses that have the same “trip name” as the trips in the view.  The find records is working perfectly. I then created an Update Record action and using the Airtable Record ID from the Find Records.  But when I test this action out, it continues to fail saying “invalid input”.  I can’t figure out why. Appreciate any suggestions,Kevin

I want to add custom color to my base. But I can see the 30 colors for my plan. Is that possible to add custom colors?And one more thing is I'm unable to apply colors to the button for the interface workflow template. Is it possible to add colors to the fields and buttons?When I create a new blank interface, I can add colors to buttons and some background colors to some elements the same does not apply to the workflow template.Please guide me on this to achieve my requirements.I appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi,I’m relatively new to Airtable and I want to use it to help track inventory. I’m not familiar with coding or complex formulas and I’m thinking those are the exact things I’m going to need to pull this off…Ideally, I want a base that has a full list of inventory and user capabilities to allow checking in/out different items. I want quantity to auto-update based on in/out. The user facing side needs to be very simple and easy. Originally, I was thinking a form where the user will type in the ID and whether they're checking it in or out and it will auto update the quantity but now that I’m trying to work through that- it doesn’t seem very straightforward. A form recording every single response as a new line item is not useful in this case.Quantity number will be very important because I want a dashboard that displays what items are available and where to find them. Any guidance would be incredibly helpful- other posts, help pages, formula suggestio

I found this post: Help creating a script to tag products with keywords from product titles.  Using the code with the adjustments the script runs, but not well.  I am hunting keywords in course descriptions for a sustainability tracking and awards system.The problem is when this searches for keywords it's too literal. If the course description has "...equal.." then it will attach that link. If the description has "...equality..." it will not. Originally the keyword list had the asterisk wildcard, which meant there was a lot of things it wasn't finding because it doesn't seem to recognize that as a wildcard, but that lack of wildcard means it's missing possible links now. I would prefer not to add every iteration of "equal" to my keywords list though.How do I address th

Hi Airtable Community, I’m attempting to send an email every time a new record is created. The message of the email should include the contents of every field that has data in that new record. Our fields are added to regularly, and I do not want to edit the automation every single time a new field is added to our table.  Is there already a known solution to this, that will automatically include all fields with data in the message of the email without pre-coding the specific field into the automation?  Thank you,Danny

My table has two checkbox columns that are set to show different symbols for True. “Actively Working” column is set to show a yellow star. “Hide” is set to show a red “x”.Both of these columns are showing a mix and match of both values (see photo). It is happening in the app on both ipad and phone. Individual records opened up show the correct value in the correct column. Anyone else having this issue? How do I resolve it?

Hi,I have two tables - one that has projects with tasks and one that has employess. Each task field from the different projects is linked to the employee table. When I want to assign an employee to a task, I link the employee record to the task in the tasks table. This works fine.However, when I go to the employee table, I want to see a list of all the tasks assigned to each employee.How do I make it show up automatically?

I’m new and just learning Airtable. I know that other flower farmers use Airtable already, but I haven’t found many resources about how exactly their Workspace is set up. I’d love some input regarding keeping track of items such as a master crop list, year to year crops, maps, task calendars, inventory, clients, products, newsletters, vendors, etc. It doesn’t necessarily have to be flower specific as the veg community has a ton of overlap.
