Hii have a table with fields, where we can upload pictures. I need to make sure, that there is only one picture pe field alowed… how can i do this?At the mament its possible to upload more than on picture.ThxChristian

Hi all. I am pretty new to working with AirTable but have managed to figure out most of what I need to know thanks to the documentation and this community! I have one question by which I am flummoxed, however: linked record filtering.We have a base with a bunch of different tables in it, including one for Team Members and one for Tasks. In the Tasks table we have a field for Status, which is a single-select field with four options: Not Started, In Progress, Completed, and Deferred. Tasks also has a field that allows them to be linked to particular team members.In the Team Members table we have a field that pulls in all of the tasks associated with a team member. I’d like that field to be filtered by task status, so that only tasks that are not completed are shown. I’d think that turning on “Filter record selection by a condition”  and using a static filter like this would work:

I’ve spent weeks trying to understand how to properly manage linked record fields in my base, and I’m still stuck. No thanks to ChatGPT - total waste of time. I should have come here a lot earlier. Here’s what I’m struggling with:  I have one main Entities table that contains artists, labels, distributors, producers, etc. In other tables (like Songs and Releases), I need to link to Entities in multiple ways (for example: Artist, Featured Artist, Label, Distributor, Producer). Every time I create a separate link field for each role (e.g., “Artist Name,” “Label”), Airtable automatically creates a new reciprocal field in Entities, which results in multiple “Songs” or “Releases” columns there. This clutters the Entities table and makes it impossible to keep clean.  When I delete these extra reciprocal fields in Entities, it turns my original link fields in Songs or Releases into single line t

Hello! I’ve had this issue for some time now but finally have the time to sit down and really figure it out. Except I can’t figure it out. Base 1 has Table 1, which is synced to both Base 2 and 3. Base 2 and 3 are not allowed to create new records, I have to go back to Base 1 to add records in. Syncing is enabled for both (see below). I need to be able to edit Table 1 from all 3 bases and have the changes show up for each base. Base 1 settings: Base 2 settings (same as Base 3): Message when I try to add records to Base 2:

I can’t figure out how to make links between two tables work the way I need them. Here’s the situation:Table 1 contains a list of Companies. These Companies are differentiated by Type (multiselect) and split into multiple views based on that: Producers view and Architects view.Table 2 contains a list of Projects. Each Project has a Project Owner field (link to Companies, single record) and Project Participants field (link to Companies, multiple records).So far so good. Hello! I’m new to this community and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I need to create a base that can match college students with alumni for 1-on-1 meetings, based on career interests. Each person will have up to 3 career interests, but meeting pairs only need to match on one of those interests.  Each student must be matched with only 2 alums Each alum should not have more than 2 students (but can have fewer)I created a base with 3 tables - Students, Alums, Career Interests - and linked the Student table to the Alumni table so I can see all of the matching alums for each student. I just cannot figure out how to limit the matches to just 2 for each person. Is this possible in Airtable or do I have a lot of manual work ahead of me?

I've never been fussy about colors, but the new options for base themes are a big step backwards for me.  The old bright, bold, cheery, energetic & fun colors that made the Airtable experience feel enjoyable and different from your average boring, serious database, have been replaced by: A) a dark, dreary version (my green base now looks exactly like Excel - uugh) or a mushy pastel version (were people asking for more 'washed out' low contrast header options?).The fun bright colors were part of Airtable's experience (and brand) for me.  Is there a way to bring them back for my workspace?  

I have created a table with my suppliers and the products the offer. I have the following tables:SuppliersProductsInvoicesInvoices linesIn Suppliers I enter every company I work or might be interested in working in the future.In products I have all the products offered, each product has a price and the supplier that offers that product (It has many other fields but are not important here)In Invoices lines I put the content of each invoice I create in the Invoices table and when I recall a product, it recalls as well the price.The problem is sometimes I have exactly the same product offered by multiple companies and one of the ideas of this database is to be able to make a price comparision.So I want every product to be connected to multiple suppliers and to have the price that every supplier asks for such product. Hello, I am using airtable as a data source  project management tool for video editing projects. I have two tables, the first is a table containing all the data about a project then second table contains information about each draft video created for a project, and this table it linked to the master projects table.In my app, I have a table block that displays all the projects we are working on with each project populating a row in the table. In a perfect world I would like a column of that table to tell where what was the last “thing” done in the project. Hi all, I’m having a hard time finding an answer to something that seems like it should be easy, but I can’t quite figure it out and other examples don’t fit my use case very nicely. I tried making sense of dynamic filters, but it wasn’t doing what I needed it to. I’m working on an advertising sheet across multiple vendors, categories, months, and stores. In essence, we have one tab in our sheet where all of our bills get dumped. It has the vendor name, amount, and single-selects for month, store code, and category. I’m creating a linked database that creates a pivot table of all of the vendors as the rows and columns for each month of the year, using rollups to calculate how much we spent with each vendor each month. Sounds simple. However, I’m running into issues with trying to filter the table by store. Many stores utilize the same vendors, so when I try to filter by store code, it’s totaling all of the bills per month for each vend

spreadsheets Hi, I’m trying to recreate the structure of the attached spreadsheet in Airtable, but I'm running into trouble because each checklist item needs a different field type. I'm a PM, and I'm building a checklist that I want to go through once per project. Each checklist item requires a different field type. After discussing with ChatGPT, I was told that if there are 10 field types, I should create 10 separate fields and input each item only into its corresponding field type. But this checklist isn't just for me — about 20 team members will need to fill it out frequently. If it's structured this way, it becomes very inconvenient for everyone to use. What would be the best way to structure this kind of checklist in Airtable?

I have a single select field with options A, B, C. How can I limit a user’s ability to select an option twice? Once an option is selected they should not be able to select the same option again. 

rtf text fields are very limiting because there is no ability to add tables and advanced formatting such as callouts, toggles, dividers or images/videos.It would be extremely useful to have a few more elements in a similar way to Notion.Do you know if there is a plugin/addon to achieve something similar and make a more functional built-in editor?

Hey there, I am wondering if anyone knows how to use Fillout to generate unique forms for people in the airtable database. The idea is this: let’s say on some column in Airtable, Bob is only eligible for groups 2, 4 and Adam is eligible for groups 1 and 3, is there a way for Fillout to read this information on airtable and then create a personalised URL that gives Bob a form asking him to pick only between groups 2 and 4, and similarly with Adam? And can it do so while having a ‘live-booking’ functionality - so within Airtable, we have a Groups table that displays the remaining seats, so if group 2 currents sits at 0 remaining spaces, Bob will only have a form that asks him to pick group 4 (not a great example but hope you see what I mean).I would really appreciate any insight into this :)

I run a nonprofit that runs mentoring programs. I have a table that has a unique ID per mentor/mentee (a list of letters and numbers). That is the primary field. Their names are then in another field. There are about 72 people engaged in the program.I want them to be able to fill out a form for their mentoring activities/hours per month. I’ve created a new table, where the primary field is autogenerated. I’ve created the form, but I’d like for them to be able to choose their name from a list on the form so that it connects automatically to the main table and shows how many hours, meetings, etc for each person.Unfortunately I can only add the ID linked record for them to choose from, which is an internal number that they don’t know. Any creative thoughts on how I can get them to choose their name and have it still link/connect?

Hey experts, I’m a beginner of Airtable and I’m setting up the bases & interfaces to present my team’s resource allocation plan.I have set up two bases: Task & Timeoff. And I have created an “Utilization Interface” as shown in the below screenshot.I’m wondering if there’s a way to show the timeoffs in this interface as well? If so, should I merge the two bases (task & timeline) together? Or if there’s any other best practices that I can keep these two bases separated but still show both the task and timeoff in the same utilization view?Thank  you so much for your guidance!!
