Hello amazing people! I am working on my film workspaces and trying to build a table to use for a Page Designer for a Call Sheet. I have several tabs I need to pull details from, all based on the Date Field. This Scenes tab is one of the places to pull from, and it has a Filming Date field.I am pulling IN to this Call Sheet tabWhat I need is if the Date on a record in the Scenes tab matches the Date in this Call Sheets record, I want the records to link. I will be using a number of associated lookup fields from the containing records.I assume I will need to use a Formula? I have trouble wrapping my head around those for some reason 😖 I've tried various other options and none will allow me to just say "If this date matches that date please link" and I can't restrict to a view because I would need to change that parameter for every new call sheet.I hope this makes sense! If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it!

Is it possible for the submit button on a form to not be visible until all of the conditional fields are satisfied? 

Hi there, I'm not sure if this is possible or if I'm approaching correctly the solution, but here it goes: I'd like to create some sort of dynamic filter that when I input a date, everything else in this table will update accordingly. The link records that won't meet the filter criteria will be excluded, therefore, updating the COUNT calculation and all related formulas. To give you more context about the base setup, there are two tables: TicketsSuppliersWhat you see in the screenshot above is the Suppliers table, which is aggregating all the tickets. Is there a way to exclude linked records based on a filter?Thanks everyone!

Basically we have two workspaces. One is for project management. The other is for accounting. Once the project has been completed, we change it's status to "ready for accounting" which then automatically syncs with the accounting workspace. So no new records are being created in the accounting workspace.We then generate a "price code" based on the company name and the product. The price code reference a price list which is a different table in the accounting workspace. I have nearly all the mechanics of this worked out, but currently have to manually copy/paste from "price code" column to "price" column (see screenshots). I'd like to automate this, but I've had trouble with the tutorials I've seen, and I also don't know what an appropriate trigger would be.Thanks in advance for any help!

I have an airtable view embedded on my site. When I click on Filter-> Add Condition, the webpage jumps down the page a couple hundred pixels, which makes for a terrible user experience - the user can't even see the filter box anymore and has to scroll back up and reclick in it to add a filter. You can reproduce this on our site and see for yourself: https://www.highimpactprofessionals.org/talent-directoryAnything we are doing wrong here? If you look at my attached images below, I'm struggling with the CONCATENATE function. I want to add the COMPANY as a  prefix to each of the multiple items listed in the PRODUCTS column, but concatenate only adds it as prefix to the first item.I am doing this so that it will reference a price list. We offer the same products to each company, but each company has a different set of prices. I was going to figure out how to automate the copy/paste from PRICE CODE to PRICE, but I couldn't even figure out how to get the price code in the correct format. Thanks in advance for any help! 

We're using a base to track actual work done on multi-project invoices, but the invoices from different vendors format the info differently - some tell us a percentage of the time worked spent on each project, while others tell us $ amount subtotals by project. I have a table recording the actuals from each invoice, which includes a "Project Percent" field and a "Project amount" field, and I can enter the info on each invoice in either field and leave the other blank, but is there any way to have the populated field do the math against the invoice total to automatically fill in the other field that's left blank? I can't see any way around the problem that having the fields update one another reflexively would cause a circular logic error. Anyone have any ideas on how I can automate filling in percentage when I have $ amount, and fill in $ amount when I have percentage? 

Hey! This is driving me mad and I'm sure it's either: - I've been working on this for too long and I am overlooking the obvious / need a break- A bugContext: I have an interface where there are requests from form submissions. There is a 2 step approval process, where approvers should set a status by clicking a button. These users are "editors" in the interface, so permissions should not be the issue.When I "View As" / Preview as one of these approvers, I see that the buttons function correctly and I can set the statuses. Image below.  This approver though has a different view - they cannot click the buttons. I'm a bit at a loss for what to do in terms of troubleshooting. The tricky part is, there are 5 or so approvers, and ONE of them is able to interact with the buttons and set the status (calibrated / flagged / clear).  Any suggestions/thoughts? 

I'm trying to create an automation to update a record. I want to change the status of all tasks associated with a sprint to have an "archived" when that sprint is "done".The trigger is based a table called "Sprints Lists" with a condition of "Status: Done".And as an Action I want to edit the "Status" field from a different table called "Tasks Lists" so that the new value of Status is "Archived".I've tested the trigger successfully. However, when I click on the "+" button to select the corresponding Record ID from the "Tasks Lists" table, it only shows the fields from the "Sprint Lists" table used in the trigger. 

Hello!I'm hoping you guys can help. I'm a total newb with formulas.I'm trying to build a animal shelter manager and usually we don't have the exact date of birth. Just an approximate age (ie, 2 years, 5 months, 4 days, etc.). Is there a formula that can calculate an approximate date from those numbers?I've looked everywhere and tried a million different formulas.

Sorry if this is a basic question— I am just starting out learning how to use formulas with little/no prior excel experience.I have a formula that calculates the difference between today's date and the date a video was released. I have it returning the # of days: DATETIME_DIFF({Today}, {Video Date},'days') Is it possible that instead of returning the number of days, it could return # of years, #of months, #of days? So, instead of 952 days ago, it returns: 2 years 7 months 10 days? Thanks for any help.

TL;DR: I've come up with a Rube Goldberg machine of a base. Is there a better way to organise this?  I'm managing a small school. I'm using Airtable for organisation, Mailerlite for emailing, Zapier to connect the two, and Fillout for sign-up forms. Probably this doesn't count as complex for most of you wizards, but I'm having a hard time finding an efficient workflow!Currently, I've got this going:A form table (Fillout integrates with Airtable and links to this table). Each record is a form submission, so some records may reflect the same student, perhaps returning for an advanced course. An Airtable automation checks if the course a student wants to join is full, and if it is full, updates the record to join a waiting list instead. Zapier checks a view here to add or remove students from the corresponding group on Mailerlite.A courses table, and a Mailerlite group table. Each course is connected to a Mailerlite group, but not every Mailerlite group is connected to a course.

Is it possible to export a multiple select list in one field into a separate table? For example, I have a field in one table that is a Multiple Select field of Categories. I want take that list of Category options and export that list (i.e. each option as its own record) into a separate Table so I can further work with that data. Is this possible? Thank you in advance for any ideas!

I am trying to build a module in Make (Integromat) that will find a single Airtable record that matches an AND + OR condition:My formula is:AND( {NMI}="XXXXXXXXX", OR( {Subscription status}="Active", {Subscription status}="Pending", {Subscription status}="Extend"))If I create a dummy formula field in my Airtable  base and use this formula, it displays the value '1' (for 'True') in for the record I'm looking for, and all other records have the value '0' for False.When I use this exact same formula in my Search Airtable module in Make, it does not return any matches Any ideas on what could be happening here? Doing some work for an ATM Placement Company.When a client signs on, we have a set # of ATMs that we promise to place for them after they set up their bank account.Currently we are looking for a way to update a dropdown status based on a few factors (possibly a formula).We are currently tracking # of days since "Bank Account Opened" and are looking to automate a Green, Yellow, Red Status based on these factors....If we have not placed an atm within Days 60-90, they are a red statusif we have not placed an atm within Days 30-60, they are a yellow statusIf we have placed at least 1 atm between Days 0-90, they are a green statusIn one of the columns we have a formula to see if an ATM is placed or not. 1 means not placed, 0 means at least 1 atm has been placed. I have an automation which sends a slack message at a scheduled time with a list of tasks due that week, sent in formatted single messages for display purposes.It's a repeating action which runs through a list found, but it never runs in chronological due date order and I need the list to appear in chronological order. Airtable has on their guide that it can't guarantee the order of the run and you should consider other options. What would these options be? Help would be much appreciated, thank you!

Hi there, I have a conundrum that I hope someone can please help me with! It’s all about the final “/” Basically I want to extract the last part of a file path + filename string, to leave only the filename. The path and name can all be different lengths, and have different folder depths. The key is to take everything AFTER the final “/” Examples below… /Volumes/my_drive/documents/pictures/A001.jpeg /mnt/usb/pictures/123456.tiff /Server/over_there/no_really/this_one/what a long path/Big File.mov would parse… A001.jpeg 123456.tiff Big File.mov Any ideas please, fantastic Airtable community? I was thinking removing the input commands and replacing the table/field location to my specific fields would work but having more trouble than I thought. Any one able to help me out? So, with my limited scripting and Java skills I've been trying to set up a script that will call a webhook so I can later trigger something there. I managed to set up the basic ping but I came across the ideal of sending some record ID's I need which can save me a step later on.My error is surrounding inputConfig and how to parse it into the JSON body (I guess?)The error most likely lies in line 4 and 5, hopefully it's understandable what I'm trying to get done. Here’s how Airtable is sorting my text col: 2XY 11A This logic seems to be unique to Airtable: 11 is after 2 (not 1 is before 2, as expected). This causes problems trying to match a sorted list in Airtable with the same list sorted in another program. Is this a bug, intended behavior that can be worked around, or something else? Thanks!
