I’ve read many Count Records threads, haven’t found my answer. Table A lists organizations (schools) I’m tracking. Schools have attributes such as public/private, updated/not updated. Once a month or so (automated if possible) I want to count how many schools meet various criteria and record in Table B So Table B will be: Fields: Date, Public Updated, Private Updated, Public not Updated, Private not Updated, etc. Records: 1/1/2022, 200, 400, 100, 200 2/1/2022, 250, 450, 50, 150 3/1/2022, 300, 500, 0, 100 Automation? Script? Rollup? Also—even if I could find the calculation that would give me those #s, I can’t use a calculated field because it will be current, obviously. I need to the calculation on the 1st of the month and then paste # into those fields. Thanks in advance!

Hello,I have a base for our sales CRM. In the CRM I have 3 key tables:DealsTasksReportsEach Tasks and Report is linked to a Deal. In Deals we have a field "Owner" which is a User field. In both Tasks and Reports we have a linked field "Owner (from Deals)".I want to create a dashboard for our weekly meeting with one filter to select one or more users from the "Owner" field and then based on that I have 3 grids one each for Deals, Tasks and Reports display records based on the "Owner" filter. (the next step after I solve this would be then to filter records based on a date field, but I believe this isn't going to be a problem).I can't find any way to cascade the filtering from the Deal Owner to the Tasks and Reports.The only way I can mentally come up with a model that would work is if I had a table "Owners" and linked the Deals to an Owner. Then I should be able to use a record picker to select the Owner from the Owners table and cascade the filtering down to Tasks and Reports as well.B

I am manually copy and pasting values from a Lookup field to a Multi-select field on the same table and want to know if there is a way to create a script that could do this process for me.  Example below:Want to copy the teams in the "Lookup of Teams" field and paste it into the "Manual Copy Paste (multi-select).  Any suggestions appreciated! Hello!I have a base with 3 tables:a Contacts table,an Organization table, anda Membership table. In the Organization table, I have a linked field to the Contacts table called "All organization contacts" where I link all Contacts records associated with that "Organization" record.In the Membership table, I have a linked field to the Organization table called "Organization" where I link all Organization records associated with that membership. In the Membership table, I have a linked field to the Contacts table called "Membership seats" where I link all Contacts records that have a seat on that Membership. In the Membership table, I'd like to add a lookup field called "Other organization contacts" that pulls in any Contact record linked to the Organization linked to that Membership record that is NOT already linked in the "Membership seat" field. I don't mind doing this with either an automation or some sort of combination of fields, but I want it to be

I am building a CRM to track touches with individual contacts. While I have figured out how to set up a reminder to reach out to contact a certain amount of time after their most recent meeting, I am trying to figure out the best way to track/record all past meetings for that contact. I have it all on a spreadsheet right now to import but am struggling to figure out the best way to set up that data. Any suggestions?Thanks! Ariel

Hi there - I have tried a few ways to do this but have been unsuccessful. Here is what we are trying to accomplish >> Matching one company to grants that have matching sectors, location and demographics and each can have a deadline or no deadline. The problem is that when there is no match the automation for 'Update Record' deletes the records that are already matched in a field. So I tried to make 6 different fields to match, and thought I could concatenate the look-up IDs but when I use the formula to concatenate the IDs, the commas go away...  How is it possible to either: 1. Use the Update Record when there is no match and have it keep previous records? 2. Combine the record IDs so they all have commas and/or can add all of these to one look up record so we can send an email with one table instead of 6?    

I'm using the chart extension to visualize some data. Nearly all of my questions on the form have 5 answer choices but I have a few questions where no one chose an answer. For example (strongly disagree, disagree, neutral, agree, strongly agree) where no one chose "agree". I'd like the chart to show that agree is a 0 while also displaying the true values of the others. In the theatre world our "fiscal years" are actually seasons that start in the fall and end in the spring.  And specifically, there are two big "quarters" = a fall/spring season, and a summer season. More complex than just "quarter 1" plus "year." and I don't think I can use the MONTH function.I want to be able to use an if then statement that I can set once and forget it without having to create a new formula field when each new season rolls around.If the date range is between 09/01/(yyyy) - 05/31/(yyyy+1), it's displayed as the "(yyyy)/(yyyy+1) Season"Ex:  Engagement end date is 09/02/2022.  It would be displayed in the column as "2022/2023 season"If the date range is between 06/01/yyyy - 08/31/yyyy, it's "yyyy Season"Ex: Engagement end date is 0701/2023. It would be displayed in the column as "Summer 2023 season" Is this possible??M

Hi, I'm trying to create a formula that will direct to a Gantt view filtered by a ProjectID field (So I can create a "Open Gantt Chart" button in an Interface using the "go to url in record" action that will open a Gantt view filtered by a specific project.) I can create a formula that generates a filtered link to a Shared View (https://airtable.com/shrXXXXX?filterEquals_ProjectRecID=XXXXXXX)  but this Shared View isn't editable, which defeats the point. I have tried a formula for the non-shared view URL (https://airtable.com/appXXX/tblXXXXX/viwXXXXX?filterEquals_ProjectRecID=XXXXX ) but that only opens the un-filtered view. Are there any tweaks to the URL formula that would make this work? Thanks! [Slightly off topic rant - I'm working on creating a semi-complex workflow Interface, and I'm getting increasingly frustrated. Hi all, I would like to extract an ID of a link with Regex formula but I don’t find how this formula works. Example: Link Drive (false link) https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/E1x1a1m1p1le1 And I would like to extract this part: E1x1a1m1p1le1 (i.e. part after “folders/”) I have tried this formula: IF({Link}, REGEX_EXTRACT({Link}, “folders/[^\s]+”)) but I have the following result : “folders/E1x1a1m1p1le1” instead “E1x1a1m1p1le1” I guess it should only be a small adjustment. Hi Airtable Community -I have table A which has a column that stores links to records in table B.  When I am in an expanded view of a record in table A and I click on the linked entry to open the linked record in table B, what determines what view is used for table B?  Is there a way to specify what view the linked record should open in?  I only want to display a few fields on the table B entry and I'm unsure how to do that.Thanks in advance!

Hi Folks, I'm currently struggling with a formula. I'm trying to track the progress of a project that requires an asset to be translated to several languages. I created checkboxes for each language and for when those assets were QC'd. I'd love to be able to consolidate all the checkboxes to a single text field so I can easily see which languages have been completed and QC'd. I've been able to create a formula to pull a checkbox per language but now I'm adding the second step of QC and my IF AND formula isn't working. Below is a sample of the formula that worked and the one that isn't once I added the second step. TRIM(IF(({BR Art}),"BR, ")&IF(({DE Art}),"DE, ")&IF(({FR Art}),"FR, ")&IF(({IT Art}),"IT, ")&IF(({JP Art}),"JP, ")&IF(({MX Art}),"MX ")) The two step I was testing outIF(AND({BR Art},{BR Art QC}),"BR, ",IF(AND({MX Art},{MX Art QC}),"MX, ",IF(AND({IT Art},({IT Art QC}),"IT",BLANK()))) 

I created a new base in preparation for moving some spreadsheet data. Column 'A' of the sheet is dates.I'm thinking I can set the primary field as a 'date' field and include 'time' in order to make each record unique. After import (copy & paste) I can change the default time (12:00am) to 12:01am, 12:02am, etc. if there are multiple spreadsheet rows (records) with the same date.QUESTION: Is there a potential issue with having a dates in the Primary Field?

Use case: RSVP form linked to individual attendees’ Airtable records created in a separate table. Each record pertains to a unique person. I’d like the RSVP form to automatically link to the original record. I’m working with two tables, ‘Anchor Table’ which contains hundreds of records related to individuals not involved in this use case and dozens of fields including private information, and ‘RSVP Table’ which is for the purpose of organizing an event where specific attendees’ are involved. I’ve created a filtered view for pertinent attendees’ and hidden all unrelated fields in Anchor Table and linked these records in RSVP table. When I create a form in RSVP table using the Linked Record field as a drop down, the preview in the selection shows thumbnails of attachment fields in the record that are hidden from the Anchor Table view. How can I change the fields in the form selection field to hide this?

I imported a financial report from PayPal. All of the Negative amounts in the "Amount" field use a "-" in front of the value. I want to create a new field that removes the "-" and just lists the value of the Amount field.  If the amount doesn't have the "-" symbol, I just want it to leave the record blank.  I tried using a substitute formula in the new field, but not sure how to get a blank value in the new field if the original amount value does not have a "-" sign. SUBSTITUTE(Amount, "-", " ") What would be the best way to do this? Hi,I need to lookup a value from shipping rate tables based on the weight value from another table.I have two tables I need to look up data from, an example of one is below, The other is the same structure but different data.This is my source table containing my weight values.I need to select a value from the 2nd column on the above table, when the weight in my source table is between two row values.For example, if source weight is 7.75kg, it should return 53.3 for the rate.Hope someone can point me in the right direction 😁Thanksjohn

Goal: A user can create a post including any version of a youtube or twitch URL. When the post is created it appears in a repeating group and the link appears as an embedded video. Current State: The entire site is already built using a combination of airtable and bubble.io. This is the last feature that I need. Work: I am open to ideas. What I know right now is that it can be done either with a Regex Formula or JavaScript Automation using the video id. Budget: Hopefully, under $200. But we can discuss it, based on your idea. 

I am trying to build a base for a company that delivers natural food for pets. The clients tells us the date they want their first delivery made, how often they want to receive it (every week, every 2 weeks, etc), the preferred day of the week they want to receive the deliveries (monday, tuesday, etc) and also the number of deliveries that are already paid for. Based on that I would like the base to automatically fill the future delivery dates for each client record considering the informations we have. This will be importante so that I can set up a calendar view later that will allow me to know all the clients I have to make deliveries on any specific date. Thanks in advance for any help and I am sorry if this is not the right place to ask.
