Sorry if this is a basic question— I am just starting out learning how to use formulas with little/no prior excel experience.I have a formula that calculates the difference between today's date and the date a video was released. I have it returning the # of days: DATETIME_DIFF({Today}, {Video Date},'days') Is it possible that instead of returning the number of days, it could return # of years, #of months, #of days? So, instead of 952 days ago, it returns: 2 years 7 months 10 days? Thanks for any help.

TL;DR: I've come up with a Rube Goldberg machine of a base. Is there a better way to organise this?  I'm managing a small school. I'm using Airtable for organisation, Mailerlite for emailing, Zapier to connect the two, and Fillout for sign-up forms. Probably this doesn't count as complex for most of you wizards, but I'm having a hard time finding an efficient workflow!Currently, I've got this going:A form table (Fillout integrates with Airtable and links to this table). Each record is a form submission, so some records may reflect the same student, perhaps returning for an advanced course. An Airtable automation checks if the course a student wants to join is full, and if it is full, updates the record to join a waiting list instead. Zapier checks a view here to add or remove students from the corresponding group on Mailerlite.A courses table, and a Mailerlite group table. Each course is connected to a Mailerlite group, but not every Mailerlite group is connected to a course.

Is it possible to export a multiple select list in one field into a separate table? For example, I have a field in one table that is a Multiple Select field of Categories. I want take that list of Category options and export that list (i.e. each option as its own record) into a separate Table so I can further work with that data. Is this possible? Thank you in advance for any ideas!

I am trying to build a module in Make (Integromat) that will find a single Airtable record that matches an AND + OR condition:My formula is:AND( {NMI}="XXXXXXXXX", OR( {Subscription status}="Active", {Subscription status}="Pending", {Subscription status}="Extend"))If I create a dummy formula field in my Airtable  base and use this formula, it displays the value '1' (for 'True') in for the record I'm looking for, and all other records have the value '0' for False.When I use this exact same formula in my Search Airtable module in Make, it does not return any matches Any ideas on what could be happening here? I'm scratching my head...

Doing some work for an ATM Placement Company.When a client signs on, we have a set # of ATMs that we promise to place for them after they set up their bank account.Currently we are looking for a way to update a dropdown status based on a few factors (possibly a formula).We are currently tracking # of days since "Bank Account Opened" and are looking to automate a Green, Yellow, Red Status based on these factors....If we have not placed an atm within Days 60-90, they are a red statusif we have not placed an atm within Days 30-60, they are a yellow statusIf we have placed at least 1 atm between Days 0-90, they are a green statusIn one of the columns we have a formula to see if an ATM is placed or not. 1 means not placed, 0 means at least 1 atm has been placed. I have an automation which sends a slack message at a scheduled time with a list of tasks due that week, sent in formatted single messages for display purposes.It's a repeating action which runs through a list found, but it never runs in chronological due date order and I need the list to appear in chronological order. Airtable has on their guide that it can't guarantee the order of the run and you should consider other options. What would these options be? Help would be much appreciated, thank you!

Hi there, I have a conundrum that I hope someone can please help me with! It’s all about the final “/” Basically I want to extract the last part of a file path + filename string, to leave only the filename. The path and name can all be different lengths, and have different folder depths. The key is to take everything AFTER the final “/” Examples below… /Volumes/my_drive/documents/pictures/A001.jpeg /mnt/usb/pictures/123456.tiff /Server/over_there/no_really/this_one/what a long path/Big File.mov would parse… A001.jpeg 123456.tiff Big File.mov Any ideas please, fantastic Airtable community? Hi,I've been trying to modify the Airtable script (Create records from multiple select) pasted below into an automation as an action. I was thinking removing the input commands and replacing the table/field location to my specific fields would work but having more trouble than I thought. Any one able to help me out? So, with my limited scripting and Java skills I've been trying to set up a script that will call a webhook so I can later trigger something there. I managed to set up the basic ping but I came across the ideal of sending some record ID's I need which can save me a step later on.My error is surrounding inputConfig and how to parse it into the JSON body (I guess?)The error most likely lies in line 4 and 5, hopefully it's understandable what I'm trying to get done. Here’s how Airtable is sorting my text col: 2XY 11A This logic seems to be unique to Airtable: 11 is after 2 (not 1 is before 2, as expected). This causes problems trying to match a sorted list in Airtable with the same list sorted in another program. Is this a bug, intended behavior that can be worked around, or something else? Thanks!

I am trying to send an update email in the automation section with the sum totals of each field like they are displayed in the grid view. However, when the emails are sent the sum row is removed. Does anyone know how to maintain them within the email automation structure? 

Hello,I have a very basic automation and I can't figure out why it doesn't seem to be working.... when the amount paid is equal or greater to $300, I want to have a check box or single select text that says they are paid in full.I have a screen shot of the test I ran in the automation where it looks like the 'yes' single select text is added.  but when I go to my base, it's not there.  I've watched over an hour of help videos and tried multiple things.  I'm a newbie, I would appreciate the help! Hi there community,I've been using Airtable for 6-8 months now, mainly as a way to keep track of material prices for a prefabricated home manufacturing operation.  Purchase orders and requests for quotes are entered into the system and a cascading set of tables with increasing levels of specificity allow me to view material prices by something as refined as a supplier SKU and something as broad as "dimensional lumber" - by ft2, bd ft, ln ft, or whatever other metric I want to have.  All that to say that the structure is pretty well built out and working quite well for me, but the more I build it out the more I am intimated by changes like the one I want to make (though I do know that I can duplicate a base to play around there and not risk losing key relationships in the data).We're looking at more heavily integrating this directly with the design software we use (Cadwork), and I've realized that the mechanism by which I've developed my Product IDs - a formula field that comb

Hey folks, I can’t create an event based on dates in my table. I need to create an event based on formula born date-times, and that didn’t work; but even now testing with normal date columns (with hardcoded values) didn’t work as well. It encounters an error: Unable to parse datetime: “” But there is definitely data in those columns. Here is an illustration.

I have setup an automation to send emails on record creation. I am needing help.I am needing to send 1 record to a group of email in different states. Ex: One email request to and email group in TX, another different request to an email group in FL and have it automated when the state or country says the group. (TX to TX group, UK to UK group, FL to FL group)  

I've got 3 tables - 1) Athlete, 2) Athlete Races and 3) Athlete Weekly Training Score. 1 is linked to 2 and 3, but 2 and 3 aren't linked. 3 is updated every week, with a new entry (score) per athlete each week.For any relevant entries in 2) (i.e. where the race date matches the date of their training score), I want to add the training score (from 3) into their race record (2)Is this possible with lookups? Or would it need to be an automation? I've tried both but can't quite get to the answer.Thanks in advance!

Hello!  I've been mulling over how to optimize an image in the body of an email for an automated gmail connection- to send an email based on airtable records.  I was able to add the image using airtable supported in-line HTML tag <img src="https://www.btsministry.org/images/logoNEW_02.png">It optimizes perfectly on mobile, but the image is massive on desktop/laptop viewing sizes. I've currently not had luck including image sizes through Style or including specific px sizes. I.e. style="width:300px;height:150px”; Any suggestions on how to optimize the image size using airtable's supported HTML/CSS (span, style, img) ? I may just have the html syntax wrong 🙂  Thank you!!
