Hello - I am clear on the subtleties of Workspaces and chargeable collaborators, but one point remains unanswered.Does the top-level 'account holder account' have to feature as a collaborator in any or all of the Pro Plan workspaces that sit under that account? In other words, can I: make one of the collaborators a second owner of the workspace (assuming the workspace was created by the account holder) then ... delete the account holder as a collaborator on this workspace I don't have an environment in which to try this on my own at the moment.Thank you!  

I'm missing two fields plus two new ones (4 Total) I have created in PowerBI from Airtable Base's. I'm extracting data from many Bases's, and only have a problem with a certain one. That data isn't special, the fields are simple "Single Select" Fields.I get no error's in the PowerBI query, it just doesn't show the four fields.

Hi allI've just got into scripting, and have fallen at the first hurdle. I thought this would load an array of all my records as objects, with each field in the object with its value as a a key value pair. let table = base.getTable("Contacts");let query = await table.selectRecordsAsync({fields: table.fields});console.log(query.records); However, it only seems to load the record id and record name. All other fields do not seem to be within the object.I have tried specifying the exact fields in {fields: table.fields}, and then console.log(query.records[fieldname]), but this also returns undefined. I'm coming from Python to Javascript, and I'm not a proffessional. Hi All! I have an automation set up so that when conditions are met (i.e I select a certain label from a single select menu), the an email is sent out the the attendees that were assigned to that meeting.The problem is that it is only grabbing the first email in the email field and not sending to all the attendees. Is there a quick fix for this?Table has a Row for each meeting with fields for:Meeting nametimeroomAttendees (pulls from the stakeholder table and contains multiple people)Email (pulls email from the stakeholder table based on the Attendees. Hi all,The data from the table below is from another table using Automation:Once the status of a request ID is updated, then the update time of each status will be automatically recorded in this table.Is there any way to calculate the time difference between each of the statuses and then update the field "Duration"?I've tried putting the update time of each status in different fields(Image 2), but still failed at getting the duration.(Image 1) (Image 2)

I'm new with these and I think i'm having a big mistake but I cannot find it.I'm trying to extract the number of hours for an specific duration record.Obviously I use HOUR command but it doesn't work!As you can see in screenshots, the field Hours works in the following way:Hour({Time})But, it generates ERROR!What am I doing wrong?Thanks!  

I have a Payment Interface with a Form that creates a new record in my Payment table.  There is a field for Dues Amount and another for Donation Amount.  Both are define with a Currency data type, and with a Default Value of $0.00.  In most cases only one of these fields will be updated by the User.  The problem is that the default value is not being applied to the field the User fails to update.What am I missing?  It appears that the Default Value feature that is available when defining the field characteristics (e.g., name, data type, default value), doesn’t work properly.

Does Airtable have a way to create several new records based on the number of entries in a field? For instance: We have a request table that people can fill out a form to request being added to articles. They can request being added to multiple articles via a link to our overall articles list. These requests go into a request log, and then go to an updates log that tracks the changes to each article. The request log has an automation that creates new update records when the request is approved - but I can't seem to figure out how to have it create multiple update records if multiple articles are selected on the form. Right now, it's only creating the first update record from the request. 

I've used Zapier on and off for the last couple of years for small purposes. This week I used it for something important, and I'm wondering if the approach I took is the best way to solve the problem.I have a list of people (about 120) that I needed to send and email to. The email contains a link to an Airtable form that I want them to fill out. I defined a date-time modified field in Airtable that I used to trigger the zap in Zapier. The zap then connected to my client's Google Workspace/Gmail account to send the emails out. I was a little worried about how well Zapier would perform, so I triggered smaller batches of records, about 30 at a time. In the end, it worked fine. We had to do a follow-up email, and I used the same process, just with a different body content for the message.I didn't ask Zapier to do anything other than connect (record by record) to my client's Gmail account and send each message. I'm trying to build a formula that will look up a currency value from a record, determine whether it is between two ranges of currency, and then enters a percentage (the federal poverty level) in a new column. Hi All,Hope someone can help!In our base we have multiple Proposals (in one table) linked to each single Sales Opportunity (in another table).I would like the proposal's naming convention to be "{Sales Opportunity} - Proposal 1", with any further Proposals linked to the same Sales Opp named Proposal 2, 3, etc. (ie not using an Autonumber field that simply counts all records in a table). Ideally the number will not change if an earlier Proposal is deleted (but not the end of the world if so).Is anyone aware of a way to do this besides manually?Many thanks!

Hi,In our base we have multiple Proposals in one table against each linked Sales Opportunity in another table. One Proposal will be the Primary Proposal and any others will be Secondary. This is done by selecting Primary or Secondary as a single select.If a Secondary Proposal is changed to Primary, I'd like any other Proposals linked to this Opportunity to automatically be changed to Secondary, to avoid there being multiple Primaries.Is there a way to automate this?Many thanks

Hi,I have an airtable database that captures information from a tally form.One of the fields in the database is date created which is a formula and is the date when the form was filled in.Anyone can fill the form and I want to capture the time zone of who is filling in the form.Can airtable capture the time zone (of the person filling the form) together with the date and time of when the form was filled?I want to sent email reminders with automations based on the timezone of the specific user and creating different automations that work well with the different timezones will not work in my case.Thanks  

Hello there. I've hit a brick wall with an automation I'm trying to build. I was hoping to use an interface button to identify all records in a table with an unchecked box within a particular field and then check all of those boxes. I have created an automation where the trigger will be the button, and have then added the "Find Records" action where the condition is all records with an unchecked box. That part runs fine in testing. It all falls apart when I try to update records using the list of Airtable record IDs generated by the previous step and then ask the automation to check the relevant field box of all matching records. Can anyone assist please? 

I'm working with a fixed asset inventory base with close to 6000 records.  One of the issues that I'm having is the slow record fetching after scanning a barcode.  My primary field is a formula field that pulls from the barcode field.  I have a view that only shows a minimum of fields that I need to update the record as last seen at location on what date.  When I select the current date to show when I last saw this record it lags.  I find that if I push the record up with a finger gesture on my iPad it seems to update quicker, but not always.  I've tried creating different views by sorting the barcode field to see if that would help the indexing of the field for faster record fetching, it hasn't.Anything ideas on what to try next?  My attachments are already over 20g and I'm less than half way done with the annual inventory.All the Best!Pablo

I've built a task list table, and have some recurring tasks that comes with sub tasks in another table that are linked.I am hoping that when my Task is completed, airtable will create the exact same task, except to change the dead line based a formula field, and link up to a new set of sub tasks also created once this main task is done.I am doing this because I want to keep record of when the records were completed, using the last modified date field.Is this possible?

I have searched but any article I think might give me the guidance I need ends up getting confusing...possibly due to my lack of understanding but I think at this stage, my best option is to ask myself.I've created a purchase order system and it's all working fine except for one thing. For the purchase order number, I want it to be "Year-Cost Centre-Number" with the number component being a sequential count of previous orders for that same cost centre. I have an email automation running every day at a specific time.Is it possible with airtable to match the time the email is send to different timezones?Eg. the same e-mail is send at 2pm CET and 2pm ACT, etc Thanks  

So I use airtable to organize content for my websites and it’s been great. I initially started using it to create a web archive for a artist syndicate that needed a place to put up all their media, which is where I first encountered this issue. When uploading to wordpress using WP All Import Pro I need to have a bare url, but airtable dumps context into the field when you query the url. I was able to get around this using a regular expression to search for the beginning of the actual url and exclude everything before and ignore special characters. That worked fine considering that I only needed 1 attachment per post. Well now, I’m doing something similar to my own photo/video site and have created a portfolio post type where I can upload multiple photos into a gallery for each post. Thus I have multiple attachments per record in airtable, which the regular expression does not work with since there are multiple urls. So my question is how can I get airtable to spit out a completely bare
