Hi - Sometimes our automation email works and sometimes it does not... What could be going wrong?  

Hi All I am trying to pass Airtable data into Revit with the help of the DynaWeb dynamo package.I created a grid view and integrated this with the dynamo script.I am confused why the 3rd row is in index 02nd row is in index 5Please help me to solve this issue. I appreciate any help you can provide.

Hey folks, I can’t create an event based on dates in my table. I need to create an event based on formula born date-times, and that didn’t work; but even now testing with normal date columns (with hardcoded values) didn’t work as well. It encounters an error: Unable to parse datetime: “” But there is definitely data in those columns. Here is an illustration.

I have setup an automation to send emails on record creation. However, the automation fails with a message: An unknown error occurred.The automation succeeds if I change the send to email to a personal email I have.I suspect this is something to do with the Airtable not supporting one of my emails but I cannot figure out why.Does anyone know how I can resolve the issue?The email that fails is hosted by Ionos web hosting.The email that succeeds is hosted by Gmail.Thank you,Ali

I am needing help.I am needing to send 1 record to a group of email in different states. Ex: One email request to and email group in TX, another different request to an email group in FL and have it automated when the state or country says the group. (TX to TX group, UK to UK group, FL to FL group)  

I've got 3 tables - 1) Athlete, 2) Athlete Races and 3) Athlete Weekly Training Score. 1 is linked to 2 and 3, but 2 and 3 aren't linked. 3 is updated every week, with a new entry (score) per athlete each week.For any relevant entries in 2) (i.e. where the race date matches the date of their training score), I want to add the training score (from 3) into their race record (2)Is this possible with lookups? Or would it need to be an automation? I've tried both but can't quite get to the answer.Thanks in advance!

Hello!  I've been mulling over how to optimize an image in the body of an email for an automated gmail connection- to send an email based on airtable records.  I was able to add the image using airtable supported in-line HTML tag <img src="https://www.btsministry.org/images/logoNEW_02.png">It optimizes perfectly on mobile, but the image is massive on desktop/laptop viewing sizes. I've currently not had luck including image sizes through Style or including specific px sizes. I.e. style="width:300px;height:150px”; Any suggestions on how to optimize the image size using airtable's supported HTML/CSS (span, style, img) ? I may just have the html syntax wrong 🙂  Thank you!!

I've got records of song names.  I have a field with the dates we've played the song.  I want another field to extract the most recent date the song was played, but don't know how to get there.  How do I extract the highest number from an array?  Seems like it should be a simple MAX() command, but that doesn't work. 

I'm attempting to read the current status of a single select field, what I'd like my script to do is read the status of the button and simply return that status as a string. For example, if I manually set the button to "Doing" and run the script, my script should return "Doing" from the console. My airable is setup with a single table called "Item Status" that lists all the records in the table. I try the formula that IF({Date due}!=0,CREATED_TIME({Date due}),BLANK()), but the result is the created time of the row, not the date the {Date due} cell changes. What should I do?

I’m struggling to get my head around how to draw a line chart in Vega-lite that displays multiple fields. I can get one field working, but am hoping someone can post an example of syntax required to do something like this (example from random values in Google Sheets); Appreciate any help on this. Hi there, I have a table called "activities" that links to a "users" table and a "products" table.Each time a user upvotes a product, a new entry is created. (Picture 1)I am trying to set up an automation that updates one field in the linked product, with the user who upvoted that product. (Picture 2)It seems like the linked fields appear to be empty for Airtable. Only when I untoggle the fields the actual user or product appears. (Photo 3)I keep getting an error message, for an automation that should really be simple. (Picture 4)How can I fix this? Does Airtable not support Linked Fields? How can I get the linked field info to show up in the field values?I spent 5 hours trying to fix this. Any help or pointer is greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

Hello,I'm really new to Airtable and completely inexperienced with formula options.I'm looking to set up a formula so I can easily create a list of dates for the calendar year. Right now I used # option but I think a formula is more in line with what I need...Here is an example 

I’m setting an automation to copy a value from a lookup field (formatted as currency) to a currency field. The tests run fine, but the automation doesn’t get the value from this lookup field when it goes live. It works if I set a manual value in the automation, so it seems something wrong with getting the value, the field type or something like that. Has anyone hit the same issue or has something to add to help?

Hi there! I've been trying to replace  "," by "&" in a lookup field using Substitute and IF statements but I still receive an error or the result is not giving me what I want. So the result I want is IF First name contains  "," then replace by &..  

I’m in the process of creating a form the interested clients can fill out and submit. One of the fields is a Number (Integer) and I wanted to know if there was a way to give a maximum value. We don’t want to accept the entry if the value in this field is over 100. As far as I know, there is no way to pop up a message or to prevent the entry from being submitted. We would not want the client to proceed with all of the actions driven by the form if their numeric value is greater than 100. I know I can use a formula to determine if the value is greater than 100, but I don’t know how I could use that formula in a form. Thanks in advance.

I've got an interface showing a list of all customers who we are awaiting information from.How would I go about sending those customers an email, when I click a button to do so in an interface? I don't want to do it automatically when they enter a view because there's a manual review step beforehand.I thought I'd found a solution via the sendgrid extension but it looks like that's only possible via data tables, not interfaces. I also tried triggering an automation via a button click but I could only get that to work with the record picker (i.e. one record at a time), rather than in bulk.I feel like I'm not seeing a relatively obvious solution here!Any guidance appreciated.Thanks

I’m trying the following in my automation; Trigger is when record in Offer table changes status. First Action is Find Records from a Customer Table Second Action is to Create Records in Marketing Table for each of the customers from #2 above. However, I don’t know how to do that. So my title may not make much sense, but here is what I have going on.I have a base that has 2 tables. I have a building table and I have a Tasks table. I have them linked in that some tasks are needed in multiple buildings, so when a task is created it can be assigned to any building that needs that task. However, what I want to be able to do is make a building specific note for each task that only shows for that buildingAs a hypothetical example: I create the task "add signage" and it can be assigned to building A, Building B, Building C, but not D or E, etc.In addition on the "tasks" table I have a "notes" field, and a "status" field for each of the tasks, So I can say "label needs to say "welcome in"" or something like that and know if it is "to do" "in progress" or "done". Here is the part that gets sticky; when I am looking at the buildings page (and it is linked to the tasks page, and have notes show (with a lookup field)) it will show me the notes for any linked task. I want to create an automation that will do the following:When a status is updated to "client reviewing quote," the date in the "quote sent date" column for that record will fill automatically with today's date (in other words, I can't put in "3/20" because I want it to be contemporaneous with the date the status is changed, not stay stuck on one date).I have searched around and tried a bunch of things but cannot seem to figure out how to do this simple automation. Anyone know how to help me?Thanks!
