Hi - I'm new to AirTable so I may have missed something, but if I duplicate an existing record (say a "Plate" in Product Database), change the name to "Cup" & other data to I end up w/ 2 records "Cup" & "Plate" in the table - as expected.  However in other tables where "Plate" was included as a linked record, I also now show both records in linked field in these tables. How can I prevent this behavior?

Hi! I am trying to solve the following:I have a lookup field that lists multiple dates multiples times (the same day in each respective record). Like so: 10/10/2022, 10/10/2022, 10/10/2022, 10/10/2022. This is the "Move In Date ~ Expansion" Field. I only want one date listed and clean like so "MM-DD-YYYY". So I created a Formula Field ("Move In Date ~ Expansion (Calculation)" Field and did an ARRAYUNIQUE formula, however, it shows up with additional 0's and is not clean. How can I adjust this formula so that it lists the date of the lookup field only once and clean like so"MM-DD-YYYY"? Or does anyone have any other solve here? Thank you!

Before starting this, I will say I have no background in writing script.  Any script/code I have posted was created using OpenAI API.What I am trying to create is an automation that upon an update in a selected Single Select Field will begin an automation that utilizes a script to input today's date & time in an adjacent Time/Date field. When I entered the code below into the Edit Script window and ran a test, the test failed with an error stating "ReferenceError: document is not defined at main on line 12" Can anyone provide feedback of what I need to change to make it work? var today = new Date();var options = {  timeZone: 'America/New_York',  hour: 'numeric',  minute: 'numeric',  second: 'numeric',  hour12: true};var timeString = today.toLocaleString('en-US', options);var dateString = today.toLocaleDateString('en-US');var dateTimeString = dateString + ' ' + timeString;var dateTime = document.createElement('div');dateTime.innerHTML = da

I am new to Airtable, but I cannot find a simple formula to calculate years of service for employees from the start date. I can get it to calculate years, but would like to see it in decimal format. For 8 1/2 years I would like to see 8.50. I am currently using the below...Adding the "months", did not do anything different. DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(),{Start date},'years', "months") Any help is appreciated...

Hi,I need to supply to my team of buyers the "best deal" for any given category and sub-category of products in our database. At first, it was easy to group by category / sub-category into a view sorted by price ASC. But over time, the database grew big and we now have 7000+ products splitted into 25 categories and 50 sub-categories ...that makes it long and tedious to scroll through this view to locate manually the cheapest product for each category/sub-category combo (about 150 unique combinations in total). My question: is there a way to get a view that'd output the best product per category / sub-category combo in a flat table format. In other words, this view would contain ONLY the 150 best deals. Many thanks!

Is it possible to limit the amount of rows in a table view for use in a chart? E.g. I want to see my top 20 accounts based on sales value. However when I create a chart, based on sales value, I cannot limit the results to only the top 20.

Hi Guys,After hours of trial and error, all errors, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to join data from two different tables.Table 1 has INVOICE NUMBER, CUSTOMER NAME, and CUSTOMER EMAIL, one Invoice Number per row.Table 2 has several rows with the same Invoice Number, and one item on each row. So, if the customer just bought one item, there would be only one row with Invoice Number and Item.If customer bought three items, there would be three rows, with the same invoice number on each row and one item per row in the Item field. What I want to do is to build a THIRD table that has Name, Email address, and Item, so I can then sort who bought a specific item, or all the items a specific client bought. But try as I will, I can't figure out how to do it and ANY help would be VERY appreciated. So, Table 1:Invoice 1 - Client 1 - Client Email 1Invoice 2 - Client 2 - Client Email 2Table 2 hasInvoice 1 - Item 1Invoice 1 - Item 2Invoice 2 - Item 3Invoice 3 - Item 1Invoice 3 - Item 5Invoice

Hello community!I am looking to display the amount of an hour of additional service to be applied to a price depending on the type of service (A, B, C or D).This number of hours can be 0, 1 or 2.I have already created a column that automatically displays the number of hours to be invoiced (0, 1 or 2).I have already created a column that automatically displays the type of service (A, B, C or D).Here are the possible scenarios :- If my hours column displays 0h and the product type is A, B, C or D, then display 0 €- If my hours column displays 1h or 2h, and the product type is A, then display 10 €- If my hours column displays 1h or 2h, and the product type is B, then display 20 €- If my hours column displays 1h or 2h, and the product type is C, then display 30 €- If my hours column displays 1h or 2h, and the product type is D, then display 40 €Can you help me please ?

My attempts to use a value from a Rollup field in the record Name field result in a circular reference error. Is this expected behavior or a bug?

Hi everyone! I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving!I have some problems with my formula, I'm trying to concatenate two columns (see attachment ). As you can see, the Calculation column missed the "commas" of the originals columns, and moreover, if there is anything in a column, it adds a comma.I would like that my calculation is :1 Report Name2- Report NameCalculationD, EC, FD, E, C, FF, CF, CD, ED, Emy formula is in the attachment. What am I doing wrong?Thank you very much!

Hi allI am trying to have AirTable send out a webhook at a specific time for records that meet specific conditions, but I realized the "At a scheduled time" trigger does not really allow me to go through conditions to search for specific records.I was considering to work around this by changing the trigger to "When record matches conditions" and set one of the triggers to a formula field with DATETIME_FORMAT(NOW(), 'LT'.But I realized the system does not update the NOW() field in real time (seems to be around every 10min or so?)Is there another workaround within AirTable itself? Or do I have to use make.com/zapier to make this work?Just for reference, I simply want AirTable to send out a message to my team members at a specific time if there's a record that specifically meets the conditions. Thanks in advance

HiI would appreciate any assistance with my formula. The end goal is that my Cost field should automatically calculate a cost based on a combination of options selected from the Frequency, Activity, and Complex fields. The dropdown options for Frequency are:Daily1 X Week2 X Week3 X Week1 X Month"Daily" is equal to 22 days."1 X Week" is equal to 4 days."2 X Week" is equal to 8 days."3 X Week" is equal to 12 days."1 X Month" is equal to 1 day.The dropdown options for Activity are:12345"1" is equal to 30 min."2" is equal to 1 hour."3" is equal to 2 hours."4" is equal to 3 hours."5" is equal to 4 hours. The dropdown options for Complexity are:1 (Standard)2 (Medium)3 (Difficult)4 (Very Difficult)"1 (Standard)" is equal to €15."2 (Medium)" is equal to €16."3 (Difficult)" is equal to €17."4 (Very Difficult)" is equal to €18.Now in my Cost field, I want whatever I've selected in Frequency, Activity, and Complex to calculate as an amount. For example, if I select "Daily" in the Frequency field, "2"

Hello, I am a pro writer for companies and I am looking to generate quotes automatically.Depending on type of report (4 types) selected by the customer AND the time of writing (full day or half day) the price will vary.I want to convert this example to formulas :If half day and very synthetic = price 1If day and very synthetic = price 2If half day and abbreviated summary = price 3If day and abbreviated summary = price 4If half day and standard synthesis = price 5If day and standard synthesis = price 6If half day and exhaustive = price 7If day and exhaustive = price 8I have already created in my table, 2 columns:- one indicating the type of report (very synthetic, abbreviated summary, standard synthesis, exhaustive)- the second indicating if it's half or full dayI am therefore trying to create a formula that will check in my columns "full day or half day?" AND "Type of report ?" in order to show a price.Do you have the possibility to help me please?Have a good day

we have several automations that involved sending an email with an attachment. they worked as designed on 11/30/22. However today, 12/2/22, they fail to send. i've attached a screenshot with the error. The error says "Microsoft reported an error while processing this action: Failed to fetch an attachment".The automation is designed so that first the person record is selected. Then an update is performed that links the record to a record in another table that holds the file to be attached. The Attached file is included as a lookup field in the person record. This portion of the automation all works. It fails in the next step, when the email is supposed to be sent. Normally, this all happens within seconds.any ideas on how to fix this?

From a look-up field array, I’m extracting a duration h:mm, which I’m trying to convert to a duration field. The time comes out alright in a human readable format, e.g. 2:59, 4:24, 6:00, but I’m struggling to convert the string into a duration formatted field via formula. I tried using a few formula IF(Time,DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD(TODAY(),Time&“”,‘s’),‘H:mm’)) = always 0:00. IF(Time,DATETIME_FORMAT(DATETIME_PARSE({Time},‘H:mm’),‘H:mm’)) = still no formatting

Is there a way to make a graph with multiple sources of data. E.g. two y values (same data type). Seems like it should be easy! Many thanks

Does anyone know how to export a chart in blocks? Is it possible yet?

Hi! I would like to write a script that automatically creates time slots one week in advance. These time slots are every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 2pm (6 time slots/day). For now, I type them manually but there is certainly a better way… Let me know what you think :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello!I have a question about the best way to set up workspaces and bases for our marketing department. Our department has five digital marketing teams, each digital marketing team has different social media editorial calendars to manage, which we're going to use Airtable bases for. People from the different teams should not be able to see the bases/calendars outside of their own team. Let's say the company is "Company A," each team is named "Team 1," "Team 2" etc and each social medial calendar is called "Base A" "Base B" Base C" etc.How would we best set up our workspace and bases. Should there be a workspace for each team, completely siloing each of them (with bases for each calendar within the workspace)? Or should there be one workspace for all five teams, with bases each all social media calendars? If we were to do that, is it possible to add all teams to the workspace, but relegate their visibility only to specific bases?

I use airtable essentially to create daily schedules. These schedules are PDFS that i print from the layout extenionsi then upload the pdf to a seperate kanban view for employees on site to be able to go thru at start of day to know what they need to do.All of sudden, airtable has "forgotten" or corrupted all of the pdfs or images that were in the table.I can't upload anymore either. If I delete a corrupted file and try to reupload, it just reuploads a corrupted file that has a link to support center embedded if you try to open it as an attachment. This effects the way I run this business pretty critically unfortunately. Maybe this is the equivalent of a storage capactiy paywall?

Hello,I'm totally new in the formula game, I created mine by putting pieces of tutorials together and using answers obtained here (by the way, thanks to the community!)That's the deal :When my cell x show 1h, I need to show 0When my cell x show 2h, I need to show 0When my cell x show 3h, I need to show 0When my cell x show 4h, I need to show 1When my cell x show 5h, I need to show 2When my cell x show 6h, I need to show 0I wrote :IF( OR( {Durée estimée} = "1h", {Durée estimée} = "2h", {Durée estimée} = "3h" {Durée estimée} = "6h" ), "0" ) IF( OR( {Durée estimée} = "4h", ), "1" ) IF( OR( {Durée estimée} = "5h", ), "2"I do not yet master the closing of the command and I think it comes from thereDo you have an idea please?
