Hi community, I see that the API has a limitation (5 requests per second). We are facing some issues with our API calls and suspect that the limitation of the API is causing the issues. We are using Zapier, AirTable automations and some other API calls via our own platform. Is there an overview where we can see if we (often) reach the API limits and which call is responsible for that? Such an overview would be very helpful in understanding how we burden the system. Hello Community, I am having an issue with an automation and would love some guidance. The automation is intended as follows (w/ pics below). Trigger: When Production Status field IS “Scheduled” AND Review Status field IS “Approved” AND Publish Date field (actually called Archived Publish Date in my table) IS “before today” Action: Update records’ Production Status to “Live” I can see that the tests are working, and the automation triggers when I add a new record meeting the above conditions, but when I run the automation, nothing changes to my existing records meeting those conditions. I was really hoping that it would update all pre-existing “Scheduled” records to “Live” to save time on data entry.

I have a table with a multiselect field for stages: Submitted, Reviewed, Approved, Completed. I would like to track the date of each stage change in separate fields. So Date Submitted, Date Reviewed, Date Approved, Date Completed. I used the Last Modified Date field type, but it overwrites each time the stage is changed and that does not work for our needs. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I’ve scoured the message boards and cannot find a workaround for this. I have a formula to calculate a Due Date in a formula field; however, the filtering options for the formula field is quite unhelpful. I would love the option to filter for due dates within a week from now (etc) but the only options I have are “contains” and “empty” - which prevents me from creating filtered lists of Tasks that need to be done soon. The best I can do is sort the entire list - which isn’t nearly as helpful. Anyone have a workaround or idea here (I would like to keep the formula as is - it tracks when items need to be done based on a final date)? I could copy and paste all the values into a date field, but that extra step might be unnecessary (hopefully)? Here’s the formula I’m using if helpful: DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Event Date},({Days Before Event}*-1), ‘days’),“M/D/YYYY”)

Hello, I’m pulling my hair out… I have the following formula: REGEX_MATCH({Products},"Personal") {Products} is a ‘A Name’ column and the above formula produces a 0 if “Personal” is not present in the column’s field and a 1 if “Personal” is present in the column’s field. Using the same formula on a different table: REGEX_MATCH({Products},"Personal") {Products} is a ‘Lookup’ column and the above formula produces a 0 if field is blank and a #ERROR! if not blank. The only difference between the two scenarios is the top formula is checking a ‘A Name’ column and the bottom formula is checking a ‘Lookup’ column. What am I missing? Why am I getting an #ERROR!?

Is there a formula I can use to replace, say, " with " ? I find myself often having to go in and do this manually. Thanks in advance for your suggestions! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello! I cannot figure this out, would be grateful for any help. I embed a view on our website and I want to include a button that will send an email to the collaborator named on the record. However, I can’t seem to get the URL to incorporate the collaborators email address. When I use the ‘owner/collaborater’ field in the URL it won’t save. I then added a new field (consultant contact) with the collaborators email and used that field in the URL code, but the email it creates uses the name of the field (i.e. consultant contact) in the “to:” section instead of the actual information included in that field, i.e. the email address. It’s entirely possible I have the script wrong, but I’ve studied and studied the examples I could find and i’m at a brick wall now. It’s probably worth noting I don’t really have any idea how to write code or scripts of any kind and the fact I’ve gotten this far is a miracle. I’d love to cross the line though! Hi! I’m trying to create in the same base a master table (that could later help me to create a dashboard by apps) with tables that are synced from other bases in the same base. For the purpose of giving you a bit of context, 3 teams have their own base where they list their projects, start-end dates, etc. that I compile on my own table by syncing them. So I want to aggregate that information that I can see from each team in one table avoiding copy-paste the data. Does somebody have any clue on how to do this? Thanks in advance

Hi everyone I’m relying on using the TODAY() formula to mark fields true or false if a date = today. The trouble is, the formula is not working as I expect. Although I can clearly see the date is today, the formula shows FALSE, and if I change the date to yesterday, it becomes TRUE. I am based in Asia, so I expect there is a conflict of timezones somewhere? Does anyone know how I can correct this? Thanks

New to airtable and a novice to formulas, so please ignore my ignorance. I am trying to come up with a formula to apply a fee based on the difference in days between two fields. I have been unable to get it to work. I think I can just create a chart and calculate fee based on results, but I am trying to avoid that. Basically i an trying variations of IF(DATETIME_DIFF({Cancellation Date},{Order Date},‘day’)=1,50,DATETIME_DIFF{Cancellation Date},{Order Date},‘day’)=2,75,)etc… No mater what I try, I can get the first part of the formula to work, displaying the first result. I cant figure out how to continue the formula! I need to end up grouping 1-2,3-5,>5. ANY help would be appreciated as I am going nuts!

I want my formula to return 1 if it is a 3-month interval after a particular month contained in another field. So say the given field has “March” in it. I want the formula to return 1 if the current month is 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, or 12 months after March. Using this example, it would return 1 if the current month was June, September, December, or March. Or be different if the original month was a different month and a 3-month interval also. What formula would I use for this?

Hi :slightly_smiling_face: I have automation set to run when an record is updated. Thank I have “Find record” action to find records which should be updated. Last step is “Update record”, but I can not select record from “Find record” step. Anything I select it gives me error. :frowning: Does any one know how to do this? Thank you, Pjero

Hello Airtable community friends, It’s been a while! Thanks to some of you, my online book business is running smoothly on Airtable. But I am far from Airtable proficient yet… How can I get the Date and Time formula fields to check and see if there’s something in Manual Date & Time first, and then, if it’s empty, turn to Unix Date & Time? I don’t know how to weave the necessary IF statement into the DATETIME_FORMAT I’ve already got set up in the Date and Time fields. I labeled the screenshots 1 and 2 'cause they’re the same, only the second shows the formula I’m using. Many TIAs for ideas!

Hello, this is more like a documentation rather than a question, for those who might find it helpful and have similar use cases. If there are errors in the formula, please point them out. I have an attachment field called Picture. The number of pictures I’ll have in the attachment field can vary from 1 to 20. I want to grab the URL of each image, and put them into multiple columns. To do this, I’ll have to create 20 additional columns, one for each field. Note that this works as long as the image names don’t have any brackets in them. Hopefully, this won’t be a problem for many. The logic behind the formula is as follows: I have an attachment field called Picture I create a formula field called URL beside it, and the formula in it is {Picture}. This returns the URL of all the images in the Picture field, along with the image names. I have a field that captures the URL for a webpage, but some URLs contain extra parameters after the .html part of the string. How can I remove anything after the .html for those records but not have a blank cell if the URL does not contain parameters after .html? I have set up a number of Tasks within different Design Projects, but for some reason I can’t seem to move the Tasks up and down the list within each Design Project. I try to drag them from the left side of the Task row where the numbers are, but they don’t seem to move up or down the list. I would really like to order them in terms of priority… does anyone know what I am doing wrong, or why it is not working? Thanks in advance!

I have created an excel power query to retrieve data from airtable, I would need to expand this to be able to pull from multiple tables which is fine. My question is, has anyone encountered any issues with making multiple data pulls a day from airtable and getting IP address blocked, similar to what can happen with web scraping data?

I have an interesting problem. I need to create database-sort-friendly versions of names, where all definite and indefinite articles are dropped from the beginning of each name. I came up with this formula: IF(REGEX_MATCH(Name,'^THE'), SUBSTITUTE(Name, LEFT(Name, 4), ''), IF(REGEX_MATCH(Name, '^A'), SUBSTITUTE(Name, LEFT(Name, 2), ''), IF(REGEX_MATCH(Name, '^AN'), SUBSTITUTE(Name, LEFT(Name, 3), ''), Name ))) But it’s not working for names that start with “AN”. The formula is deleting all "AN"s. Why is it working with “THE” and “A”, but not with “AN”? What am I missing? I am at a loss. Thank you in advance!
