Hi I have two fields that I am trying to use an IF AND statement on One is a date field {Rollout Date} and one is a checkbox {BU Code Updated} I want to write a statement that returns an “error” message when the date is before today’s date and the checkbox is {BU Code Updated} checkbox is unchecked - nothing needs to be returned if the date is after today and the checkbox is unchecked

We have set up several calendars for various streams. Now we would like to create a new ‘mothership calendar’ to be able to view all the events in the individual calendars in one place. Is there a way to do this without having to link to each event?

I’ve built a formula that shows a Status in my Task field based on how many Sub-Tasks are complete: IF({Sub-Tasks Complete} = 0, “ :radio_button: Not Yet Started”, IF({Sub-Tasks Complete} = {# of Sub-Tasks}, “ :white_check_mark: Complete”, “ :orange_circle: Working On It”)) For some of my Tasks there is only one Sub-Task. When one of my teammates moves the Sub-Task into the “Working On It” status, I would like the status in the Task field to say, “Working On It.” Not sure how to change my formula to do that. Hi All, Looking for some guidance as I’m well outside my basic scripting depth. Use case: I have a table of applicants each linked to a group. The groups are listed out in another table and then all the group’s applicants linked in the “group members” field. Each applicant has a field that I would like to compile into a list and email or display with markdown formatting. The goal is that I have a button on the Groups table that allows a user to “generate list” which outputs or emails them the formatted list of the 5-6 group members that can then be copied into an email. Where I’m stuck is I am able to get as far as building an array of the ids for the linked applicants, but don’t know how to then use that array to retrieve the individual field values for each applicant from the applicants table. I can’t seem to figure this one out. I have 3 Writer fields with 3 corresponding Share fields. So far I am only able to combine the WRITER fields with the following formula: {WRITER 1} & IF( AND( {WRITER 1}, OR({WRITER 2}, {WRITER 3} ) ), ', ’ ) & {WRITER 2} & IF( AND( {WRITER 2}, {WRITER 3}), ', ') & {WRITER 3} But I’d like to combine WRITER and corresponding SHARE fields and then combine everything in the ALL NAMES COMBINED formula field. The final combinations should read: John (BMI: 20457, 50%), Michael (BMI: 20691, 50%) John (BMI: 20457, 50%), Michael (BMI: 20691, 25%), Charles (PRS: 30918, 25%) Charles (PRS: 30918, 100%) Yes, the extra “)”, commas, and percentage signs have to be added in the formula, but my question is, can all this be done in one swoop in the ALL NAMES COMBINED formula field, or do I have to create 3 “PRE-COMBINED” fields for the 3 Writers and their percentages and then combine these fields with my original formula? Like the example in the screenshot, I’m trying to organize my formulas for easier viewing. How in the bleep do you get formula onto a new line? Or indented? Is using an external editor the only way?!? I was wholly expecting the “Enter” key to do the trick, but not dice. What am I missing?

This is a big ask, but I just can’t figure out how to setup this formula. I’m trying to determine the Step 1 “Initial Trial Balance”. The initial trial balance is the lowest account balance for any given month in a 12 month period. Hi, guys! I’m trying to create an automation. Every time I enter a record matching specified conditions, I need an automation to update that same record, inserting values in two other fields. I did the following steps: Trigger: when a record enters a view Action 1: find records where labels is ImportantUrgent Action 2: update record from the Table Tasks, where RecordID is Records (Step 2: find records - List of Record Id, Field Importance is Important and Urgency is Urgent. Yesterday, when I inserted only one record, that automation worked just fine. Today, when I inserted another record, the automation failed. See the screenshots below. Could you please help me fix this? [EDIT] I’ve tried several combinations. Keep receiving the same error message.

So I’m looking to create a simple chart of crypto projects I’m interested in tracking. I’m using a variation of @Nikolay_Tsenkov elegant stock price updater he posted on the Example Script Showcase. I can get it to work with a few securities sites, it pulls stocks in beautifully but when using CoinGecko’s API I keep getting an “Undefined” error. Upon inspection I can see that I’m getting the payload back correctly but no matter how I try to load it, it doesn’t seem to want to go into the table. Is it because the payload is nested within the id? I’m totally stumped on this at this point and could really use some fresh eyes to get me sorted. Here’s an example of the URL string. the `${coin}’ is obvously for pulling the id in from Airtable, in this example I’m using “cardano”: GET: https://api.coingecko.com/api/v3/simple/price?ids=${coin}&vs_currencies=usd RETURNS: { "cardano": { "usd": 1.15 } } All I want is the “1.15” to come into my price field, but NOOOO… A

Howdy, Automation slots are so, so precious. :face_with_raised_eyebrow: In order to ensure we stay under the Automation limit, I’ve had to switch everything away from “When record matches conditions” triggers to “When record updated” triggers, watch a whole bunch of unrelated fields, and combine scripts to be massive & idempotent. All good, but significant work keeping track of everything. :sweat: For some tables, we need the data to always be correct - even immediately after creation. For these tables, it seems like the minimum number of Automations is two: one on the update trigger, and one on the create trigger - just to set something inconsequential to trigger the update. My question is,º is there some non-human, non-Automation trickery that we can use to drop the number of required Automations per table to one? That is, how can I ensure the update event will trigger immediately after creation also - without using another Automation slot? Please and thank you! :pray:

Hi, community! It`s my first time writing a formula and I need your help! I’d like to create a formula to represent a due date ocurring ‘today’, a due data ocurring ‘this week’ and a due date ocurring this month. I tried to create that formula combining an IF function and a DATEADD function. Airtable keeps informing the formula is invalid. What’s is the correct way to write that? I thought the following formula was ok, but Airtable says it’s wrong IF({Due Date} = TODAY (), “Today”, IF ({Due Date} = DATEADD (TODAY() , 7, ‘days’), “This week”, IF({Due Date} = DATEADD (TODAY(), 30, ‘days’), “This month” ) ) ) The formula is wrong and I don’t know how to fix it. I tried several variations and all of them are wrong as well. Could you please help me solve this? P.S: The table is written in Portuguese. Hello! I help run https://vacfind.org, a COVID vaccine information site that stores links to helpful websites in Airtable. Given the recent Airtable downtime, I was wondering if it would be possible to have a simple /ping endpoint (or similar) added to the API so that I can configure our caching server to use this endpoint to check whether Airtable is up and if not, configure itself to serve requests from the cache. Does something like this already exist in the Airtable API that I’m not already seeing? ideally id like to not have to configure auth to make a request just to figure out if the Airtable API is up (200 OK) or not (503 Service Unavailable). I have a base with several tables of school programs that students can sign up for through a Jotform. I do not want to merge these tables into one because each program has various data/fields that are unique to it. However, there are a set of fields that are the same, such as those concerning student personal info (email address, phone number, address, etc.). I would like a single script that can do some processing on such fields that are named the same across multiple tables using buttons. In scripting, typically I set the table explicitly via something like let table = base.getTable(“Table Name”); I am wondering if there is any way I can either: Get the table that a button was pressed in or Get the table that a record exists in I know I can make multiple copies of a script and just change the base.getTable() part, but I’d rather keep this as a single script that works on multiple tables. Hi, I hope this is an easy to answer question; sorry for the density of my skull! I’m building a content scheduler for my editorial team; some stories are immediately assigned a publication date, but for others that field is still blank/TBD. As a result, when you view the list of stories sorted by PUB DATE, all the undated ones appear first – which is undesirable. To avoid that, I created a new field (PUB-DATE-Fx) with a formula that converts the PUB DATE into an IF statement, thus: IF({PUB DATE} = BLANK(), “UNSCHEDULED”, {PUB DATE}) Now, when I sort the the stories by PUB-DATE-Fx, the undated stories come at the end, under “Unscheduled.” Wonderful! But it also creates ugliness: when I sort the stories by PUB-DATE-Fx, the date now appears as an string of digits (2021-03-09T00:00:00.000Z) instead of something recognizable (March 9, 2021) Is there an easy way to tweak the formula so it renders a date that’s more user-friendly? I am looking for any documentation on integrating ClickFunnels with Airtable. I have a very simple 2 column Table - Email and a String of Data I can make Get, Post, Purge to work in Postman, but I was told all I need to do is grab the JS out of the API docs and paste it into a CF HTML element. This throws a ‘require not defined error’ My research has lead me to believe I need to use NodeJS or NPM or both, but to be honest I have never worked with either… Is there any documentation on how to get this running?

I’m an Airtable noob with what I hope is an easy-to-answer questions for someone (unlike me) who knows what they’re doing. I’m building a content scheduler for my editorial team; it includes a view of stories sorted by week. To do that, I created a field (WEEK) containing a concatenation formula built around the story’s expected publication date (PUB DATE): CONCATENATE(“Week of”," ",DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({PUB DATE},-DATETIME_FORMAT({PUB DATE},‘e’),‘days’),‘M/D’)) That works great for those stories with an assigned PUB DATE, sorting them under “Week of 2/14” or “Week of 3/23” or whatever. But some stories don’t have a pub date assigned yet, and those date fields are blank. Here my formula fails, filing those stories under "Week of “#ERROR” How do I get rid of the #ERROR ? Seems like I need to combine concatenate with some sort of IF statement, but that’s beyond my brainpower. Any ideas? No doubt there’s a much simpler way to do this. Thanks!

Hi there, I work for a prison education nonprofit that works with people facing federal crimes. We want to be able to send legal updates and resources to graduates of our classes, and use Airtable to track those graduates. We want to keep our records updated as to when graduates of our classes are transferred to a new federal prison, had their release date changed, or been released. Anyone incarcerated in federal prison is given a register number. You can use that number to get release date and location data from this API. We’ve been using a combination of Python scripts to do this but it’s been clunky and buggy because I’m not that great at Python (frankly I’m not that great at coding, period, but I’m learning). I think we can do this more efficiently with a script in Airtable. Here’s the one catch: every once in a while, someone puts in the wrong register number for our graduates. Is there a way to show values returned from an API side by side with the current values in the Airtable

I’m having trouble prefill-ing a “checkbox” field. I’ve followed the guide on the support forum (I’m not allowed to link it here for some reason) and everything works, except for my checkbox field. I’ve tried “1” “true” “checked” (which is stored in the table/grid view tied to this form). None of these work. What is the proper value to pass in URL parameter to have this field “checked” on load?
