I am hoping somebody can point me in the right direction. I think REGEX_EXTRACT and SUBSTITUTE are the right way to go here. I have titles that all have the word “BPM” followed by a space towards the end. I want to extract everything to the right of "BPM " (and the space). Examples of the titles I am working with: DAM301_203 PULSE WITH SYNTH 80 BPM A FLAT what I’d like to extract is “A FLAT” DAM100_001 PULSE DEEP END 105 BPM F SHARP what I’d like to extract is “F SHARP” DAM201_400 PULSE TICKING CLOCK 125 BPM C what I’d like to extract is “C” So I am thinking I need to “substitute/extract” everything up to and including "BMP ", and I should end up with what I’d like to keep, regardless of length. Is my thinking correct? If yes, how would I do that? I have not managed to come up with a regular expression that captures what I"d like to capture. Thank you so much in advance.

The CSV Import app will merge records from a CSV file with existing matching records and create new records in the target table. As far as I know, it’s not possible to merge/update only without adding new records. Am I missing something? Thanks.

I am not sure if this is even possible - I have a table that has 3 name fields - {Name 1}, {Name 2} and {Name 3}. A formula field {All Names} combines the content of all 3 name fields separated by commas. I am using this formula: IF({Name 3}, ({Name 1} & ', ’ & {Name 2} & ', ’ & {Name 3}), IF({Name 2}, ({Name 1} & ', ’ & {Name 2}), IF({Name 1},{Name 1} ))) Is there a way to have the name “ENDING” always be at the end of the string, regardless of the name field it was entered in? So in my example, the second row would read: “Michael, ENDING”. If this can’t be done in one formula, maybe a second formula field can re-arrange the order. The name “ENDING” will be consistent across the table. I can of course make sure that “ENDING” is always the last name to appear in any of the 3 name fields. What I’d like to do is make sure that it is indeed always the final entry in the combined string, regardless of what users enter where. Thank you so much for pointing me in the

In my example, the fields “Name” and “Code” should start with the exact same 10 digits. I’d like to create a formula that compares the first 10 digits of both fields and displays a message if they match. Since the content of the “Name” field gets entered independently from the “Code” field, I’d like to use this formula as a way to check for errors. I started with the following formula: IF( AND( REGEX_MATCH(Name,’\w{10}\b’), REGEX_MATCH(Code,’\w{10}\b’) ), ‘Codes Match!’,’’) I am realizing now, this formula only looks for 10 digits, regardless of content. Not good. How do I specify that the first 10 digits of both fields have to be identical to display a positive result? Is using LEFT(Name,10) and LEFT(Code,10) the right way to go? If yes, how would I work them into a formula? I can’t seem to figure that out. Thank you in advance!

Hi, First issue I have linked a ‘products’ table and an ‘orders’ table. The products table lists the items but some of the items have multiple choices (such as colours, sizes and finishes). When the product is selected in the orders table, the options are grouped together and not selectable (i.e. it is a mirror of the original contents rather than a dropdown which is unique to the entry on the orders table and doesn’t change the main products data). I want to be able to select the specific options for each product on the orders table without having to create multiple products based on colours, sizes and finishes. I suspect it’s a formula or other method rather than just linking but I haven’t been able to find an answer online (as there are too many solutions for linking and I’m probably using the wrong terminology for my issue). Hi everyone! Looking to create a formula that will show the status of requesting copy. I’d like it to cover the 3 fields I have (all checkboxes) so when a team is done providing a component of copy, they check the box and the status appears. Field 1: Copy Requested Checkbox Field 2: Ready for QA Checkbox Field 3: QA Approved Checkbox Hoping the formula can mirror this: IF Copy Requested is checked then the Status is Copy Requested IF Ready For QA is checked then the Status is Ready for QA IF QA Approved is checked then the Status is QA Approved I have it figured out with just one field in the formula, but to add multiple is where I’m getting stuck. Hello, I’m building a table to track sales and inventory. Each product has a number of components, and sales/resupplies impact the total inventory of components. For instance chair 1 = 1 wood structure + 1 leather canvas chair 2 = 1 wood structure + 1 velvet canvas So a product can have multiple components, and a single component can be found in different products. I think this qualifies as a many to many relationship, as explained by the airtable guide. I built a quick prototype, and managed to do so without using a junction table, and it seems to work just fine. Why is that? Hi, I have been having troubles with the ‘rollup’ field function. Every time I use it, it gives me this error message: Sorry, there was a problem saving this field. Invalid formula. Please check your formula text. Some context: As you can see, the field all the way to the right is linked with the other table: The second table is a feed of forms being submitted. In those forms being submitted, I want the “flight time” (duration field) to add up to the Flight time field in the first base, which is not working due to the formula being ‘invalid’. Here they are: There will be a mentor request form that is sent out to all users in our community asking them to select an available mentor from a dropdown list. available means that the mentor has less than 2 mentor requests in the current month We would then keep track of mentor requests and close them as they get done How would one go about setting this up? Now I’d like to place the code on a cloud functions tool so I can run my code on the browser and have it communicate with other APIs. I really, really wish there was a better chat function for individual records other than the activity screen. This would be solved if I, as an administrator, could turn on and off who gets an email when someone comments in the Activity. But we have content that can be touched by multiple different people, sometimes over months, and the folks who discuss it at the beginning don’t always need to get pinged when someone else is discussing it weeks or months later. The rest of my office are reluctant users, so being able to remove any barriers or extra work is essential to getting them to engage with it more fully.

Hi all, I’m working as a lean consultant. Helping teams to reach their business goals. I currently experiment with a system that uses excel and trello but they are not connected. I believe airtable could solve this. The solution would be a great product that could help 1000’s of teams all around the world. So I have a vision. I have a mvp. I just need help to get it working in a lo code to like airtable. Could anyone help me with further resources? I’m trying to calculate and then visualize Net Promoter Score (NPS) from a table of evaluation scores submitted through a form. NPS = (% promoters - % detractors) / total number respondents Where: promoter values = 9-10 detractor values = 1-6 total respondents = 1-10 I’m new to Vega and got stuck pretty quickly. I’m pretty sure I need to do a calculate transform step, but not sure how to assign e.g. “promoter” to values of 9 and 10. Is binning the approach, or is there some conditional logic that could work? I’m interested in ways to do this without Vega as well, but I like not having to add extra fields to my table if it is possible to do the calculation within the app module. Hi all, I’m facing the following challenge: I have a table with a list of Product items (Catalog), to simplify the question I have 3 columns: Product name | Product ID | Sizes e.g. Red Tshirt | 14828 | S,M,L or Blue boots | 5423 | 8,9,10,11,12 I need to take a single row and duplicate it & split it per each size as the following: This original row: Red Tshirt | 14828 | S,M,L Should become this: Red Tshirt | 14828 | S Red Tshirt | 14828 | M Red Tshirt | 14828 | L (So all the other columns have the same values) Has any 1 ever encountered something like this? I have a “Created Time” field which I am trying to use to trigger automations. When I test the trigger, it says it was successful but is only finding 1 record when there should be many. I’ve tried setting different conditions, but no matter how I set them, the automation is not capturing the correct records. Am I missing something?

For example, looking to have a list of item types to select for a record, ex: Server, Workstation, Switch This master list is contained in another system but accessible via rest API. Is there a way so that in the far end system, if “Router” is added as an item option, the Airtable option list for that field will now contain “Server, Workstation, Switch, Router”?

Hi everyone, I’m unable to get a DATETIME_DIFF formula to work the way I want it to. Basically, I have a Status field as a single select as follows: My goal is to have a column that shows me the number of Days since a record was created. When I use the DATETIME_DIFF by itself, it works just fine as below, showing 0 days However, what I want to do is to show this only when the Status column is not equal to complete. So I’m trying to wrap my DATETIME_DIFF as the true result when the Status != “Complete”. But this doesn’t work. When I set the status to complete, I get the false result of the IF formula, which is “Complete”, so that part works fine. But when I change the status to anything other than “Complete”, the formula shows me a blank. I can’t figure out why this isn’t working. I tried swapping the IF formula for a SWITCH, but I have the same issue. The DATETIME_DIFF doesn’t show a result. Is it possible to use more than a single logical operator for filtering results? So far, I see there is only the option to filter based on the AND logical operator or the OR logical operator. Is it possible to combine these? For example: WHERE (“Status” contains “active” AND “Due Date” is within “1 month”) OR (“Status” contains “started” AND “Due Date” is “empty”) Otherwise, I need two separate filters and cannot see projects side-by-side easily.

Hi, So I have my formula calculating the 90-day deadline from the start date. DATEADD({Start},90,‘day’) But I want it to only calculate IF there is a date in the start column. Currently, if there is no date in the start column it produces a #error, however, ideally I’d like to set the formula so that the deadline is blank until the actual start date has been entered. Hello, We are looking for a solution to convert a single image (company logo) to get a url. We import the CSV to Webflow but we can only import an image with a url. The ultimate goal is to automatize with Integromat so when clients fill the form and upload their logo, the table is updated and all the info are sent to Webflow.
