Dear Community, I am new to Airtable. I am making my first block. I have a table with multiple fields. I want to make a Pie Chart with just two of the fields. I made a pie chart from the table but it includes all the fields in the table. How can I select just two of those fields? Thank you in advance for your help. Rob

I’m looking for help writing a formula to show what pay a staff member has earned based on a variable. I have hours worked (at 30 per hour for one role, and 25 for a different role), and trainings complete at 50 per session. How do I write a formula that looks at the “role assigned select field” and calculates based on the correct rate of pay? Thanks,

Having trouble with an IF formula. IF({Job Size}<=10,DATEADD{Order Start Date,7,‘days’},DATEADD{Order Start Date,14’days’}) I’m trying to generate a date based on our ‘Order Start Date’, where if the integer entered in the ‘Job Size’ field is less than, or equal to, ‘10’, it will add 7 days to the ‘Order Start Date’, and if not (specifically a larger number), it will add ‘14’ to the ‘Order Start Date’. I’m not seeing what I’m doing wrong :woman_facepalming:

HI all, I’m hoping for a little direction here. I have managed to write a script to retrieve a single record from Base B based on a Date/Time field in Base A. My problem is that I can’t figure out how to then extract a value from that response. The response looks like this (I have REMOVED record Specifics). I am trying to extract ‘Height’ 3.49 in this case, which is a number in Base B. I then plan to update the initial record in Base A using that figure (I think I can do that bit once I can get the number out of the response). Hello, Long story short: How to automaticaly copy/paste a text from a cell to another where it will apear as an editable text as well? I’m developing a CRM. I Use a first table “PRODUCTS” as a product list. A second one “OFFERS” as an offers editing list. and a third one “PRODUCTS LINE” to edit products lines in each offers (quantities, discounts, comments etc) On my “Product line” sheet, I would like when I call a product from the “product” sheet, that its standard descrition (a text, in the product sheet) appears as a text as well im my “product line” sheet where I’ll be able to edit it for this offer only. thanks in advance

We have a weird way of keeping track how many interviews our interviewers have done. I would like to know how to count the number of times “1” comes up in each cell across all columns from Jan 2020 - August 2020. So in my simple way of formulating it would be something that translates the following (number of times “1” comes up in Jan2020) + (number of times “1” comes up in Feb2020) + (number of times “1” comes up in March2020) + (…etc etc). I am running a membership organization, we have “Member Since” that is a year, e.g 2014, 2018, etc. I want to calculate on a column to the right, how many years they have been member. Something in simple words like =TODAYS YEAR - “Member Since” (in the picture it is “PGM Since”) So that this adapts to every year. Otherwise I can just keep it to =2020-“Member Since” Anybody can help with that? How to get automatic todays year into a formula

In summary I have: 1 Table 1 Grid View with all the data 1 Grid View with the trigger for zapier (Last Modified Time is Today) What zapier does is when I get a new record on the “Trigger” view it sends an email to all salespeople. My “problem” is, I updated a record on the Grid View with all the data and the Last Modified Time is Today but it didn’t send the email as it usually does. Is it because it isn’t actually a new record, and just an update? Is that why it didn’t work for that specific result?

Hey there. I’m trying to create a field that populates the fiscal year that a project is published in, as it’s different from the actual year. So if the date of the project is between December 1, 2003 and November 30, 2004, it’s FY04. And so on for the following years ad infinitum. Any help would be appreciated; I’m having trouble with date formulas and I trawled through posts but couldn’t find a solution that worked for me. Thanks in advance.

I’m trying to use a formula field to calculate a date for benefits eligibility like health insurance. For example, if an employee starts on August 6th, 2020 we require them to wait until the first of the month following their first 90 days of employment until they are eligible. With the DATEADD formula, I can add 90 days, but I’m not sure how to take the result from 90 days to the first of the following month. With the example above the result I’m looking for would be December 1st, 2020.

It can be one using Coupler.io or some paid Airtable addon but I am looking for ways to do that with Integromat (free version). (Zapier doesn’t offer free multi-levels, so Integromat is the only option in town offering for free multilevel flow albeit with limited number of runs). Airtable stores images (and attachments) in one field together separated by commas. I can instruct Integromat to only retrieve the URL’s but they are all in the same cell in Google Sheets. (So ULR1,URL2,URL3…URLx all together). I wish the integration included instructions how to deal with that to separate. I’m trying to play with text various tools in Integromat but I don’t know how to make it work because Integromat instructions lack examples of scenarios and results and there is no guidance how to create flows (compared to Zapier). I want URL1 be in separate column, URL2 in separate column, etc… As I said works fine with Coupler addon but I am trying to do with Intromat. If I can get under 3 credits per succ

Is it possible to convert textual data within a column as you change the field type from single line text to checkbox. I’ve uploaded a pre-existing spreadsheet that contained the text “complete” to show the status of processing. I would like to convert the field to checkbox and therefore, convert any data marked complete to a checkbox.

Hi everyone! My coding skills are pretty limited :pensive: Here’s my problem: I have 2 tables. Table 1: a list of companies (records) with various fields. Table 2: I use this table to perform various statistics on all the companies in table 1 through many “Count” fields. Both tables are linked: in table 1, I have field with a “Stats” for each record. That field is linked to table 2 where I only have one record (“Stats”). My problem: every time I create a new record in table 1, I have to populate the linked field with “Stats” to make sure my stats in table 2 are updated. It’s OK to do that manually for a few new records, but I have to enter dozens of new records a day. I am looking for a simple script that would automatically populate my linked field in table 1 with “Stats” (i.e link it to the sole record ID of the record in table 2). Hello, with the new custom blocks or automation feature, is it possible to make a script that will automatically change a single-select field of all records (or records in a certain view) to a certain value? It serves the same purpose as the batch-update block, but the batch update block runs manually. I’m looking for something that runs automatically at a specified time (e.g. at 12 am every night) with the automation feature or through custom blocks Any help in this will be very much appreciated :slightly_smiling_face:

HELP PLEASE!! I have a table with a LOOKUP FIELD, pulling a date from another table. The date in the original table is correct…but the lookup field in the second table is pulling a date one day earlier. I cannot figure why this would be! Any help is appreciated.

Hey folks, I’m working on a scripting action step for an Automation. It feels like querying the whole table just to search through the records is inefficient. I’m a frequent user of the Airtable API and am very used to simply asking for the record object by its ID. Can I make this simpler? I’m literally only trying to retrieve the field values of records that are linked to the record which triggered the automation. Using the new automations feature, I am trying to trigger an Integromat webhook when a new record enters a view. However even though I have configured an input variable, and it is processing just fine, it won’t parse into the webhook URL. I’ve attached some screenshots which hopefully explain what I mean. Hi there! I’m trying to build out a formula that allows me to use checkboxes to update an application status column. As of now, this is my current formula: IF( AND({Reviewed}, {Accepted}), ‘Accepted’, IF( {Accepted}, ‘Error!’, IF( NOT({Reviewed}), ‘Pending Review’, ‘Rejected’ ) ) ) My hope is to have a three-column system where if you check {Reviewed} it displays the formula column as ‘Reviewed’, {Reviewed} and {Accepted} as ‘Accepted’, {Reviewed} and {Rejected} as ‘Rejected’, and {Reviewed} and {Accepted} and {Rejected} as ‘Error!’. Hi Airtable community! I am planning a conference that has multiple sessions per day over multiple days, and as we tweak the schedule, I don’t want to have to manually compute the session start/end times. The duration of each session is pretty set in stone. I need a formula that will calculate the END TIME of an event based on the START TIME and DURATION of that event. For example, I have a session starting on 10/19/20 at 12:00pm. It lasts 20 minutes. It ends on 10/19/20 at 12:20pm. But that might change, and I’d like to be able to update either the start time or duration and not have to manually update the end time. Any assistance here would be much appreciated!
