Hi all, I’m sure I’m just missing something easy but here is my problem. I have an employee start date field and a field with numbers of days. I have tasks that need to be done 5 days before the employee starts, 1 day before the employee starts, and so on and so forth. So I want to calculate a field using the Start Day and Number of Days to calculate the Due Date of the task based upon number of days. So if my start date is 6/20/19 and my Number of days field is -5, I want a formula to return 6/15/19. I have tried the formula below but I get NaN returned. Thanks for any guidance and help! Hi! I have little to no knowledge on spreadsheet formulas and codes, so the formula function of Airtable baffles me. Thus, I am completely floored on trying to figure out how to create an IF Formula on a 4th column based on the data of 3 other Columns/Fields. I’m creating a database for art collections, and I am trying to keep record of what artwork goes where. Thus, I have 3 columns, “Buyer,” “Shelf Location” (in the gallery), and “Exhibition” (where the artwork is loaned for an exhibit). I am making a 4th column that makes for a quicker view for other people looking at the database and I want it to reflect the following: IF({Buyer}!=0, “Sold,” IF({Shelf Location}!=0, “Inventory,” IF({Exhibition}!=0, “On Loan”)) But when I input this formula or some variations of it (I tried adding AND/OR), I always get an error. By the way, “Buyer” and “Exhibition” columns are linked to other columns for further details on the matter. I really appreciate anyone who can help! Thank you!

Hi everyone, I’m struggling to nest an IF formula that would apply a sales commission % to any other agents that make a sale. Current Formula: IF({Agent}=“Me”, {Agent}*.24, IF({Agent}="(Help)", {Agent}*.20, IF({Agent}=Blank(), 0,""))) For the Help portion, I currently want it to show that if any Agent in future were to make a sale, then the commission % would be applied to them, regardless of who they are.

Hey folks, I’m trying to make a check in/ out system for a music venue/ studio so they can see which members of staff are on site at any given time. I’ve used two forms where staff can check in and out which populates a table. That side of things is working fine. The following formula shows whether someone is currently checked in: IF(AND({time in},{time out}),"❌",IF(AND({time in},NOT({time out})),"✅",BLANK())) I’d like the formula above to also show an :x: for those who haven’t signed out on a previous day (So the :white_check_mark: s are only for people signed in on the current day). I’ve tried to do this by comparing the most recent check in to the days date using the TODAY() function but it appears to be including the previous day as well (which I really don’t understand). Hopefully that makes sense. I’ve been staring at Airtable for far too long today and might be going mad! Any help will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Ross

I’ve built out the system, however I am having trouble getting certain information to automatically populate. Details: I have a weekly event happening for 6 weeks for a total of 6 events. I’d like to print an invoice by customer or table number. I built out a system with the following: Customer table Company Info for the customer Order table for individual customer orders - I also think this works as my join table Menu table listing out all available dish/beverage options Events table to define which week each dish/beverage is available Invoice table to link to the above Certain things on my invoice table work: Connects and displays information from the customer and company tables Totals up the orders correctly It doesn’t pull in the orders though. How do I get ALL Fields from my table to show up on the left, (in the blue), of Page Designer? Second. Our invoice is getting crowded. Is there a way that I can print extra text on the backside of the paper invoice? Would like to move information back there. Things like when the invoice is due, explanations of jargon, etc. There’s hundreds of invoices that go out each month, so printing the front, then printing a word document on the back would be very time consuming. Hi everyone, Working on a project that involved a 3rd party vendor entering information into an AirTable. Is there a way to share a view that is editable by an outside source? Basically, the shared via private link, but editable so the 3rd party vendor can enter in information. I know this can be done with forms, but when entering lines of IP Addresses, this is not an idea way to enter in the information quickly. Thanks!

Hi AirTable Community - I have a grid with one single select column indicating contributors (Freelance Writers) and another column indicating Word Count (#). The Word Count field will be an integer, but the cost calculation will depend on where the word count falls within a numerical range. I’m hoping to generate a formula that generates the cost of the article based on the word count. It would read like this: If {Freelance Writer} is “option from single select column” and {Word Count} >=500 and {Word Count} is <=700, Cost “150” but I am striking out. Any advice on what I’m missing?

I need to create a nested IF(AND statement for my commission sheets. Logical Argument 1: If the Set By field has a value in it AND Logical Argument 2: If the Month field is January, February, March or April The result would be: Calculate the formula Profit/2 multiplied by .125, otherwise blank. I also need in the same column: Logical Argument 1: If the Set By field has a value in it AND Logical Argument 2: If the Month field is May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December The result would be: Calculate the formula Profit multiplied by .0625 ., otherwise blank.

Hello, I am new to Airtable and I have a free plan active from 12 days… I have a sort of confusion related to Revision History… What is Revision History? I had 2 weeks of revision history in my account…Now it’s the 12th day… Does that mean - when the revision history time limit finishes, I will lose all my spreadsheet’s current data? And in Pricing, I liked the PRO plan. It states 20$ / user. What does that mean? And are any other things / main points I need to know before purchasing the PRO plan? Thanks in advance for any help. I am running a store that makes fabric bags. Each bag can be made from one or more products from the inventory, for example, two zippers, one strap, one tag, two hooks, etc. I need a formula that for each bag I sell it can subtract more than one item from each product in the inventory, this is kind of a cooking recipe. Hello fellow Airtablers! I’m in a bit of a bind trying to put together a formula for what I’m trying to do here. I have 3 different single select fields, which based on if they meet certain criteria, will populate another formula field that’ll show “Complete” or “Incomplete”. That formula is working wonderfully. However, I’m trying to come up with a formula that’ll state the reason as to Why it’s showing as incomplete. I can sort of get it to work for one field, but not multiple. Here is the formula I have for the field that populates with “Complete” or “Incomplete”: IF(AND(Status = "Done", {Billing Status} = "Payment Received", {E-file Status} = "Accepted", {Billed}!=BLANK()), "✔ Complete", "❌ Incomplete") Here’s an image of what it looks like: As you can see, it’s marked as Incomplete, because the billing status is not marked as “Payment Received”. I’m wondering how I can transform the formula to date format. I have the date 15/04/2019 20:46, but I got it using formulas. Now I need to add some days, thats why I’m going to use DATEADD. But there is some problem. How I know we can use DATEADD just with date format.

I have following table: What i would like to do is append rows, which has identical “Tasks” and sum “Cost” for those. Usually task names could be super unique, so specify their names in formula is no-go. Also Airtable “grouping” functionality is not useful, because afterwards i need to put them in invoice via Page designer. I have 3 separate fields and I want the 4th field to show a result based on the 3. The responses can be yes, no, maybe If at least 2 of the 3 columns are YES, then result should be YES If at least 2 of the 3 columns are NO, then result should be NO If at least 2 of the 3 columns are MAYBE, then the result should be MAYBE If each column has one response of each, then the result should be MAYBE I am new to Airtable and am more familiar with Excel, so a simple formula or guidance would be helpful. My current Excel has a long formula of nested IF and COUNTIF. Are there equivalents of those on here?

In the Project Tracker example base you can link a Task record to a Project record. How can I do something similar, but only show the Project records that are not “Complete”? Thank you.

Hi. I’ve been struggling to find solution to format formula result into currency. So idea is that I have 4 columns. Hourly price / Time spent / Billable? / Cost €25.00 / 1:20:11 / True / Formula which looks if entry is billable (true/false), and if it is, then calculates cost. If not, set cost as €0 Current formula - IF({Billable?}=“True”,{Hourly rate}*Duration/3600, “€0.00”) What i would like to do is get outcome to be an actual currency, not plain text. If possible, even act as currency value, not only look like it. When i go into Formatting tab, it says - “Your result type is not a number or a date. Formatting options are currently only available if your result type is a number or a date.” An I get result which looks something like this - 33.40972222222222 Any suggestions?

I have a base that tracks creative campaigns with hard drop dates. I want to be able to calculate a start date for an individual campaign based on the projected number of workdays required to walk the campaign through a production cycle. My production cycles are housed in a related table with a column for each stage and a number in days for the amount of time necessary to complete each stage. Each row has a summed value for the total number of days for the production cycle. In my campaigns table, I want to calculate a start date based on the publish date by subtracting the number of days to complete the production cycle. I’m trying to use the WORKDAY function like so … WORKDAY({Drop Date}, -{Lead Time}) When I give it a drop date of 6/5/2019 and subtract 14 days (the rollup value from my cycles table), it returns a date of 5/27/2019, which represents a difference of 9 workdays in the 14-day stretch I supplied the function.
