Hi AirTable Community - I have a grid with one single select column indicating contributors (Freelance Writers) and another column indicating Word Count (#). The Word Count field will be an integer, but the cost calculation will depend on where the word count falls within a numerical range. I’m hoping to generate a formula that generates the cost of the article based on the word count. It would read like this: If {Freelance Writer} is “option from single select column” and {Word Count} >=500 and {Word Count} is <=700, Cost “150” but I am striking out. Any advice on what I’m missing?

I need to create a nested IF(AND statement for my commission sheets. Logical Argument 1: If the Set By field has a value in it AND Logical Argument 2: If the Month field is January, February, March or April The result would be: Calculate the formula Profit/2 multiplied by .125, otherwise blank. I also need in the same column: Logical Argument 1: If the Set By field has a value in it AND Logical Argument 2: If the Month field is May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December The result would be: Calculate the formula Profit multiplied by .0625 ., otherwise blank.

Hello, I am new to Airtable and I have a free plan active from 12 days… I have a sort of confusion related to Revision History… What is Revision History? I had 2 weeks of revision history in my account…Now it’s the 12th day… Does that mean - when the revision history time limit finishes, I will lose all my spreadsheet’s current data? And in Pricing, I liked the PRO plan. It states 20$ / user. What does that mean? And are any other things / main points I need to know before purchasing the PRO plan? Thanks in advance for any help. I am running a store that makes fabric bags. Each bag can be made from one or more products from the inventory, for example, two zippers, one strap, one tag, two hooks, etc. I need a formula that for each bag I sell it can subtract more than one item from each product in the inventory, this is kind of a cooking recipe. Hello fellow Airtablers! I’m in a bit of a bind trying to put together a formula for what I’m trying to do here. I have 3 different single select fields, which based on if they meet certain criteria, will populate another formula field that’ll show “Complete” or “Incomplete”. That formula is working wonderfully. However, I’m trying to come up with a formula that’ll state the reason as to Why it’s showing as incomplete. I can sort of get it to work for one field, but not multiple. Here is the formula I have for the field that populates with “Complete” or “Incomplete”: IF(AND(Status = "Done", {Billing Status} = "Payment Received", {E-file Status} = "Accepted", {Billed}!=BLANK()), "✔ Complete", "❌ Incomplete") Here’s an image of what it looks like: As you can see, it’s marked as Incomplete, because the billing status is not marked as “Payment Received”. I’m wondering how I can transform the formula to date format. I have the date 15/04/2019 20:46, but I got it using formulas. Now I need to add some days, thats why I’m going to use DATEADD. But there is some problem. How I know we can use DATEADD just with date format.

I have following table: What i would like to do is append rows, which has identical “Tasks” and sum “Cost” for those. Usually task names could be super unique, so specify their names in formula is no-go. Also Airtable “grouping” functionality is not useful, because afterwards i need to put them in invoice via Page designer. I have 3 separate fields and I want the 4th field to show a result based on the 3. The responses can be yes, no, maybe If at least 2 of the 3 columns are YES, then result should be YES If at least 2 of the 3 columns are NO, then result should be NO If at least 2 of the 3 columns are MAYBE, then the result should be MAYBE If each column has one response of each, then the result should be MAYBE I am new to Airtable and am more familiar with Excel, so a simple formula or guidance would be helpful. My current Excel has a long formula of nested IF and COUNTIF. Are there equivalents of those on here?

In the Project Tracker example base you can link a Task record to a Project record. How can I do something similar, but only show the Project records that are not “Complete”? Thank you.

Hi. I’ve been struggling to find solution to format formula result into currency. So idea is that I have 4 columns. Hourly price / Time spent / Billable? / Cost €25.00 / 1:20:11 / True / Formula which looks if entry is billable (true/false), and if it is, then calculates cost. If not, set cost as €0 Current formula - IF({Billable?}=“True”,{Hourly rate}*Duration/3600, “€0.00”) What i would like to do is get outcome to be an actual currency, not plain text. If possible, even act as currency value, not only look like it. When i go into Formatting tab, it says - “Your result type is not a number or a date. Formatting options are currently only available if your result type is a number or a date.” An I get result which looks something like this - 33.40972222222222 Any suggestions?

I have a base that tracks creative campaigns with hard drop dates. I want to be able to calculate a start date for an individual campaign based on the projected number of workdays required to walk the campaign through a production cycle. My production cycles are housed in a related table with a column for each stage and a number in days for the amount of time necessary to complete each stage. Each row has a summed value for the total number of days for the production cycle. In my campaigns table, I want to calculate a start date based on the publish date by subtracting the number of days to complete the production cycle. I’m trying to use the WORKDAY function like so … WORKDAY({Drop Date}, -{Lead Time}) When I give it a drop date of 6/5/2019 and subtract 14 days (the rollup value from my cycles table), it returns a date of 5/27/2019, which represents a difference of 9 workdays in the 14-day stretch I supplied the function. I have people submitting records through a form. Records have {Date Ordered} field with creation date. The records are ads that go into publications so there’s a {Print Date} field. I want to flag all orders that come in the day before or the day of print date with “Late Ad” how do I do this?

Hi Airtable, I have a table containing hundreds of units in an apartment building. I am trying to get my contractor on task with specific work orders to each unit (i.e. Replace toilet, replace showerhead, paint walls, etc). My method to do this would be to link that field to another table. The problem I run into is that it only shows one “Replace toilet” with all of the units attached. This would make it act as if he can only check the box once hes completed every single unit. How can I easily make hundreds of separate “replace toilet” work orders that he can check off as he completes?

Im running a stock return spreadsheet and have zapier updating the current price on one column. I then calculate the difference that I bought the stock at vs the current price. I want to add another column that watches for the highest return I have had and the percent return. Is there an if statement that can be watching the price difference and only change the cell if its higher than the previous high I’ve had? Example. I buy a stock for $10 its now at $15. The net profit is $5. My highest return column shows $5. Tomorrow the stock goes to $20, the highest return column now shows $10 because its higher than the $5.

Hello! I am venturing into some of the more robust AirTable features and am stuck on this formula. I need to create a formula where a task ‘Start Date’ is extrapolated from the ‘Project Due Date’, based on the ‘Project Status’. This is what I am attempting: The project due date is 5/30/19 Task 1 is in the ‘Project Kickoff’ stage Task 2 is in the ‘Week 1 - Prototyping’ stage Task 3 is in the ‘Week 2 - Design & Development’ stage Task 4 is in the ‘Week 3 - Design & Development’ stage I want the due date for task 1 to be 4 weeks BEFORE the project due date. (5/2/19) I want the due date for task 2 to be 3 weeks BEFORE the project due date. (5/9/19) I want the due date for task 3 to be 2 weeks BEFORE the project due date. (5/16/19) I want the due date for task 4 to be 1 week BEFORE the project due date. (5/23/19) I’ve been trying to use nested IF formulas, combined with the DATEADD formula, but not having any luck. I calculate a member’s upcoming birthday by using formula. IF({birthday} = “”, “”,DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({birthday}, DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(), {birthday}, ‘years’) + 1, ‘year’), “YYYY-MM-DD”)) So if someone’s birthday is 1980-05-20, the field will show 2017-05-20. I want to show this in a calendar view. However it does not allow a Formula field (only allows static Date field). Is there a way to set the calculated field to have date-time format?

Hello all :slightly_smiling_face: I’m trying to work out a formula that establishes whether to charge VAT on a product or not but can’t seem to get the IF/AND/OR statement correct. The conditions that I require are as follows: If Gender is equal to “Boy’s” or “Girl’s” then 0% or If Gender is equal to “Men’s” and Size is less than 6.5 then 0% or If Gender is equal to “Women’s” and Size is less than 5.5 and Heel Height is less than 4 then 0% Else 20% I’m stuck in a bit of a black hole trying to figure this one out - any suggestions/examples on how to get this going or where to get started would be most appreciated!

Here’s a very simple formula : IF( {Edition}=1, {Genuine Console Family}, IF( NOT( AND( {Accessories list}, {Games} ) ), {Genuine Console Family} ) ) I don’t know why, the first IF doesn’t work at all. I check the checkbox and nothing happens. But, when Accessories list and Games have values, I can check and the field is fill with the right value (Genuine Console Family). Hi, I have had a lot of success using formulas in the past, but I am stumped on how to properly format the following: I have three columns: Email, Phone, and Wants Follow Up? I have been stumped on making a formula where IF the Email cell OR the Phone number cell is filled out (AKA not blank), then the output will be a YES in the Wants Follow Up? cell. I know I must be making an simple mistake, because the formulas I have tried only give a YES output if both the Phone and Email cells are filled out, not either-or. The actual OR formula as shown on the Airtable help section just outputs a 1, but I want YES text to be shown, not a 1. What am I not doing correctly? Thanks!
