This record is the input for generating workouts. Workouts This is where the sessions created by OpenAI through n8n are stored (workout type, description, etc.). It has a field “Link to another record” pointing to Training Plans, so each workout can be linked back to its plan. Desired relationship: One plan (1) → many workouts (N). Every workout should be linked to the correct training plan for that person. I wanted to post a very recent experience I had with Airtable sales. We are a business with a legacy plan and are looking to upgrade. So I went online to set up a call. First, took several days for them to respond to my inquiry. Then I booked a time to speak with someone, which required waiting several days. Not a big deal, except that a day before, I got a message from the sales representative who said she had to direct me to a different sales person to handle the account and provided me the link. Again, had to wait over a week to meet. Okay. I have a 30 minute appointment scheduled this morning with Airtable sales. She was late to the meeting by 5 mins. As an isolated incident, okay, I get it, some meetings run over. It was immediately apparent to me that she was unprepared for our meeting. My questions were focused on functional differences between my plan and the upgraded plan, especially as it relates to interfaces. Then she asked about how many users we were going to have. I told

I spent the last 4h hitting my head with the keyboard and trying to find a solution by myself, so, no solution found, and, here I am.Scenario:2 tables: table A and table BTable A, has a linked filed to table B, and this last table contains several recordsBasically it is 1:n relation Ok. Now I setup a blank page on interface designer.I select a record picker for table A. No issues hereAnd, I select a record picker for Table A, but linked field to table B. Hello!I'm trying to add a button to an interface and call an automation on click, according to this guide it should be possible, however when I try to follow the steps I face this problem:Supposedly the button should have the action option "Run automation" as shown in this picture:However when I add a button to my interface that option is not present, as seen in this picture:Any help with this issue would be appreciated!

I am in Seattle, using my local time zone, Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8). One of my columns, ‘Start Time’, contains a Date value of “1/2/2016 10:00”, but when I reference it in a separate column using DATETIME_FORMAT({Start Date}, ‘MM/DD/YY HH:mm’) the time displayed is 8 hours ahead (18:00). The same thing occurs for any other times I reference. I see that I could use SET_TIMEZONE, but do I need to use this whenever I want to have the results of a formula in my time zone? Is this a setting I can change in my account or base, anywhere?

I’m using this formula: WEEKNUM({Registered})Where “Registered” is the date a user registered on my website. This assigns each record a week number according to the Jan-Dec calendar.I want August 17-23, 2025 to be my Week 1 and January 25-31, 2026 to be my last week (Week 24). How can I change this?

​ I have followed this to a tee but I am missing something here! I have a table called Certified Partner Data (CPD). It is essentially my Main table from the exercise above. I have a field called TRIs in that CPD Table. I need to rollup the sum of that column. I have created a Calc table and made it Link to CPD. I see all of records of CPD in one row of Calc. I go back to CPD and create a Lookup field going back to the rollup in Calc of the TRIs.Below is what I see when I when I view CPD. I have it filtered to a single month and you can see the TRIs column = 15 (column total at bottom) yes my Total TRIs is showing 554. That is the total NON FILTERED. The filtering on CPD has no effect on the Calc results. I am SO close but can’t seem to get this part to work. I am filtering on a Single Select “Month”. Why is it not picking up the Filtering from CPD? And as always, thank you!   ​

I don’t see any extensions like Field List or Base Schema for the interfaces. Does anyone have a solution for getting a quick list of all of your pages? Ideally currently published, but getting all would also be ok.Thanks for your thoughts!

We’re on the Team plan, and the 10+ other members have Read-Only access.Interfaces : We provide multiple Read-Only interfaces to make the data easier to view.Scripting Extensions : We use scripting extensions that can manipulate table data (for example, to get the published versions history from one of our tools).Forms : I plan to add forms so team members can interact with some of our base content (for example, to submit development tickets).My questions :Interfaces : If I add an editable field in 1 of my interface to make the large text areas easier to manage, will Read-Only users be able to edit content ? If they do, will these actions incur charges ? Is the logic applicable if i make the entire interface editable ?Scripting extensions : Similarly, if a Read-Only member launches a script that appends changes to a table, will we incur extra charges ?Forms : If a member submits a form that adds conten

I know a few years ago it was not possible, but I'm curious to know if anything has changed. I have a long form that I'd like to split into multiple pages. Is this still impossible to do in Airtable? Is my only solution to use an external service like JotForm?

Hi Community, I would like to create a new record that is automatically linked to a parent record when I click "+ Add record" in the interface detail view of my parent record in Airtable Interface.To try to explain clearly, my database is comprised of two hierarchies in two different tables.Table 1 is "Communications" and contains the parent records.Table 2 is "Web Articles" and contains the child records that are linked to a "communication" record in table 1.When I am in the interface list view of the "communications" table, and click on the details of the "communication" record, I can see my linked web articles (see screenshot 1).The only way to add a new record from here is to create one with a form. If I then try to add a new record (+ Add article), it opens a form to create a new record in the child "web articles" table, but there does not seem to be any way to link this new record directly to the parent record through which I clicked "+add article" in the details view, even

Hello! I’m working on a series of budget interfaces for my team members in a university office, and I want them to be able to edit certain fields of their personal budget “dashboards” (not the Airtable Dashboard interface style, just the word they’re using) without editing all of the details...which would open us up to folks potentially messing up other important info by mistake.  Currently we have the dashboards viewable as grids, because they give us the option to have Sums at the bottom of each column, showing folks what their running balance is for each budget category. However, the only way I can seem to get the “edit this column” option is by using a List view, instead of a Grid, which doesn’t calculate the sum automatically. Is there a workaround for this folks have seen? Essentially, I want them to be able to edit some-not-all of the records’ fields, and I want an automatically calculated sum at the bottom of the grid/list/etc. Ideas? Good day everyone! I want your feedback on how to complete this. I have a table of ‘Projects’ listed and includes a linked field where I select multiple records that represent rooms of a house. This is what I want to do: once I select multiple rooms of the house, I want to auto-create a list for that particular project that includes default furniture and accessory pieces for each associated room of the house. That way, I’m not having to manually write it for each project that comes up. It may be easier for me to create an excel document to include the most common rooms with associated furniture and décor pieces. What are your thoughts? If it’s possible to complete, do you have any recommendations on how to make it happen? Thank you!

I run my market garden business on airtable. The market price for my vegetables change monthly or seasonly. At the moment I use a formula field to calculate the return on my production each month . I have a table for each vegetable price but when my prices change how do I stop the new price altering all my previous months. Do I need to use a script?

Hi, I created my first form today and liking the tools, however i find the linear scrolling required to access a multi-field form a bit long winded… Can i modify the layout and locate fields where i need to, to make the form more compact and intuitively laid out, and potentially all fields on a single screen/page? I looked at a thread from 2020, and it mentioned JotForm using Zapier ? Has there been any changes since then to Form layouts for Airtbale? Thanks You, Simon.

Hey,I have a “project management” table where I keep all my projects, with a lot of different linked records.When I change the status of a project to “send invoice” I have an automation that sends an very basic email to my accountant that looks something like this: Hey!The Project "PROJECT NAME" is done.Send invoice to “COMPANY NAME”:  “AMOUNT” + VATInfo: “NOTES”Contact: “CONTACT NAME”Email: ???Best//OscarI have ran into a problem however, I can’t for my life figure out how to add the “contact’s” email adress. Since the contact is only a linked record from “people” where all the details for that contact exists. I am building a base for our clients. Goal is to have them access their data through a portal. They will want to print professionally formatted reports with our company logo and page breaks. Are the print options in portals the same as interfaces? If so,  this will not fit our needs. Would you suggest we use a 3rd party such as Documint?

We have an event that is in multiple different locations. We have a form where they select which location they want to attend. I want to automatically send them the calendar invite when they fill out the form based on their response. Ex: We have an event on Monday in New York, Tuesday in Boston, and Wednesday in Chicago. If they select Wednesday in Chicago they will receive the outlook calendar invite for that specific event.

I am from a company selling STEM supplies to schools. I have three tables:A “Material List” table with a list of materials we have in inventory An “Activity List” table with a list of our STEM activities. Each activity has a linked record field which is populated with linked records in the “Material List” table   An “Activity Material” junction table with the quantities of each material for each activity listed.  Desired Outcome of the Script:I’ve written a script that is intended to: Retrieve an activity record from the "Activity List" table using a passed record ID, whenever the list of linked Material records is changed. Get the linked materials for that activity. Compare the linked materials with existing records in the "Activity Materials" table. Delete outdated records of materials no longer linked to the activity. Create new records for materials that are newly linked to the activity, including setting the Activity and Material fields with appropriate record references

I would like to monitor when anyone changes certain field configurations (e.g. changes the field type, or edits a drop-down selection or similar) so that downstream dependencies can be adjusted or the change can be rolled back. The field manager seems helpful but doesn't seem to be proactive enough for this purpose.
