I have been using AT for about a year now and love how I can incorporate it to my project management and our companies overall workflow. I am now starting to get the hang of forms but am wondering if I can take it a step further. Here is what I am trying to achieve: I understand that you can embed a form onto a website to get information shot back to your AT. I am wondering if you can do the opposite and share that exact form with another individual, with pre-fille information, a pre-attached file(s) without having to share the record with the person through email. When a record if shared from the original form, the information (record) just gets emailed to the person and that does me no good because I would like to have a “single select” field where someone can approve the form that is being sent to them. If this helps for visual/functional purposes: I want to send over a URL link (custom generated form) to individual customers so that they can approve or deny proofs that our company

I’m exploring using field agents to extract data from documents.  I’ve got 7 agents running, each looking for different information (job#, project manager, start date, due date etc).  When all of those agents are finished with their tasks, I want to trigger an automation to do stuff with all the data they’ve extracted.  How can i do this?

I think I have painted myself into a corner here. Appreciate any advice.We’ve migrated from another system that generated autonumbers for our Leads.I’ve imported all the  leads them into my Leads table. It is critical I keep the old data - it can’t be changed as all our  work for these clients has been against that specific ID number.You can see from my Screenshot that column A has the ID number (now a text field), column B has the customer name, and column C is a joining of the two (but just a text field for now, no formula/concatenation used).I have tossed in a 4th autonumber column to try and create a formula that carries on the numbering from column A (Lead Number). But now I’m stumped. Having an ‘m’ at the beginning of the Lead number does not help - otherwise I presume a simple sum formula to add the lead number to the autonumber would suffice. It’s like I need historical numbers to be text, but all future records to be a formula.Any ideas? THE HELP ARTICLE SAYS IT’S LOCATED IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER.  IT’S NOT INTERFACE DESIGNER "ADD ELEMENT" BUTTON IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. What an I doing wrong?   Do I have to install “Interface Designer”? I click “ Interfaces” on the top center of my base and have created several interfaces.  None of them have an “ADD ELEMENT” button. I’m simply trying to add some instructions on this interface and I don’t need it to be a long text field.  I just want to add a Text element to add helpful formatted text, links, lists, descriptions to my interfaces. SUPER FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I have two forms on my website: An interest-gauging form where the client fills in their name, email, and a brief message, and a longer form that they’re emailed later. 📄I’d rather not have “John Smith” in two separate databases. Is there a way, upon submitting the second form, for the answers to be combined with or added to the records from the first form, like if they share the same email address or something? 🤔

Hi,We run a photo studio CRM with Airtable, and would like to start storing customer end product images there. This would mean some 20-30 images at 2-3 mega each and hundreds of customers annually. We’re on the Team plan so have 20 gigs limitation per base for attachments, so space would end quite soon.The for me easy and obvious solution was to write to Airtable sales to ask if one could just pay for more storage, since we don’t need the Business plan additional features (and eventually that would also hit storage limitations), but they don’t seem to be responding.I know the storage limit is per base so I guess one could somehow create more bases just for adding attachment storage, but I don’t see how to do that. And it seems this would create problems when we need the second, the the third “extra” base.Hence my question here, what would your experiences be with this?Any best practices here?Rgds,Björn

Hi all! Im trying yo send a gmail with an automation, I want to send an email to a list fo mails which are in a lookup record separated with commas. I try to do this but the test says that my To field is empty Some help, pls? Many thanks

Hey guys, I have two tables—Email Info and IPT. When a checkbox is clicked in Email Info for any domain,  the domain and any one corresponding email address and its ID should be updated in IPT. I may select multiple checkboxes at the same time.Inbox details have multiple emails and ids. 

Hi Everyone,I pay people through Airtable for piece-rate work. On the backend, the data is organised by tasks and by day (e.g. Task 1, Task 2, Task 3 – Monday; Task 1, Task 2, Task 3 – Tuesday, and so on).There’s a button that lets me “Email Payslip,” but when I use it the PDF that goes out to employees ends up jumbled. The tasks are out of order (for example: Task 3 – Wednesday, Task 2 – Tuesday, Task 4 – Monday), which makes the payslip confusing and hard for employees to read.Does anyone know how I can fix the output so the payslip shows the tasks in the correct order?Any help greatly appreciated   

Is there a way for Record IDs to be visible after a user completes a form? Maybe in the message that appears after hitting the submit button to act as a “confirmation code” that can be copied and pasted elsewhere?Current state: Team member completes airtable form. After completing the form, team member is redirected to message thanking them for the submission. Goal:After completing the form, a record ID is generated from the completed response and the user is able to copy and paste that record ID number to be shared/associated.  To my knowledge, the record ID is generated after the form is completed and is visible in the Data is there anyway to make this visible sooner and so the user doesn’t need to view the data to pull record ID info? 

Hi all,A while back, I somehow managed to add an “Add Item” list element inside the single record template. But I have no idea how to recreate this now. I would start from a blank canvas, but I don’t see a way to recreate this situation.  

We recently updated our AirTable interface to sync directly with our google calendar. We deal with scheduling out many projects across multiple calendars with subcontractors and we use all day events to do so. When I tried to sync our calendars without incorporating times, all of our all-day events were extended out by one day (ex: All Day Event on 7/8/25 in Google Calendar would translate to Start/End: 7/8/25 → 7/9/25 in AirTable when times are excluded). I’m assuming that this stems from Google Calendar and AirTable having different “all day” time functionality. Is there a way to fix this? Here is the result I’m looking for:All Day events syncing from Google Calendar to AirTable exactly as shown on Google Calendar (ex. Is it possible to add simple text blocks within a form to break the form into multiple named sections?

Hi everyone! I’m building an Interface page that will serve as a library of:Each Product my team trains on. From a synced table: Product Database. Each training Resource we have for each Product, which are set up as linked records.  From a synced table: Training Inventory.  I set this up in a Record Review layout (preferred over List View for our use case). When editing the interface (and when “normally” viewing the published interface), everything looks great. The linked records display properly (as a view) within the record details.The problem: In the public share link or when embedding the interface on SharePoint, the linked records do not appear. This happens whether or not a product actually has linked records.Has anyone else run into this limitation with Record Review Interfaces? Is there a known workaround (or an alternative layout/approach) that allows linked record data to remain visible when shared or embedded? I can't wrap my head around this restriction on interface designs. If you have a linked record picker, but the field has a dynamic filter on it, then Airtable will not allow you to show the list of linked records as “cards.” You can only see them as “pills,” i.e. name only, without any additional context from the records’ fields.  I have a field directly above this one where the user can see cards with additional information when they're trying to select the appropriate record to link. I can't figure out any obvious reason why a dynamic filter should create a situation where you would not be able to access and display the fields for those linked records. If it's just a UX design decision on Airtable's part, I don't understand why they would see limiting a user or builder's access to their own data as a good thing. Has anyone else encountered this? I'll probably file a feature request just to see if I can get an answer, but I wondered if anyone else knew the logic behind this move.

How do you reinstate a deleted record? It’s been 24 hours since we've noticed - is there a way to revert to a previous version?

I have set up a basic 1-way sync that does not delete records in the archive base when deleted in the main base.Can I consider record comments to be lost? I wanted to post a very recent experience I had with Airtable sales. We are a business with a legacy plan and are looking to upgrade. So I went online to set up a call. First, took several days for them to respond to my inquiry. Then I booked a time to speak with someone, which required waiting several days. Not a big deal, except that a day before, I got a message from the sales representative who said she had to direct me to a different sales person to handle the account and provided me the link. Again, had to wait over a week to meet. Okay. I have a 30 minute appointment scheduled this morning with Airtable sales. She was late to the meeting by 5 mins. As an isolated incident, okay, I get it, some meetings run over. It was immediately apparent to me that she was unprepared for our meeting. Now I setup a blank page on interface designer.I select a record picker for table A. No issues hereAnd, I select a record picker for Table A, but linked field to table B. I am in Seattle, using my local time zone, Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8). One of my columns, ‘Start Time’, contains a Date value of “1/2/2016 10:00”, but when I reference it in a separate column using DATETIME_FORMAT({Start Date}, ‘MM/DD/YY HH:mm’) the time displayed is 8 hours ahead (18:00). The same thing occurs for any other times I reference. I see that I could use SET_TIMEZONE, but do I need to use this whenever I want to have the results of a formula in my time zone? Is this a setting I can change in my account or base, anywhere?

I’m using this formula: WEEKNUM({Registered})Where “Registered” is the date a user registered on my website. This assigns each record a week number according to the Jan-Dec calendar.I want August 17-23, 2025 to be my Week 1 and January 25-31, 2026 to be my last week (Week 24). How can I change this?

​ I have followed this to a tee but I am missing something here! I have a table called Certified Partner Data (CPD). It is essentially my Main table from the exercise above. I have a field called TRIs in that CPD Table. I need to rollup the sum of that column. I have created a Calc table and made it Link to CPD. I see all of records of CPD in one row of Calc. I go back to CPD and create a Lookup field going back to the rollup in Calc of the TRIs.Below is what I see when I when I view CPD. I have it filtered to a single month and you can see the TRIs column = 15 (column total at bottom) yes my Total TRIs is showing 554. That is the total NON FILTERED. The filtering on CPD has no effect on the Calc results. I am SO close but can’t seem to get this part to work. I am filtering on a Single Select “Month”. Why is it not picking up the Filtering from CPD? And as always, thank you!   ​
