Hello Community,First post here. I am attempting to connect my Airtable to Power BI.I am receiving the following error message in Power BIExpression.Error: We cannot convert the value null to type Record.Details:Value=Type=[Type]I am following this guidance and using a Personal Access Token. I setup Power BI Parameters successfully but received the error code in the Query. I suspected that it may be the M Code so I followed a link to a GitHub resource for alternate code."If the above script seems to be causing an error, then please refer to this GitHub resource, as the code may have changed.I have tried both versions of the M code.I don't know enough about tracking down this error code. Any ideas of what it might be?All assistance is greatly appreciated.

So I’m looking to employ a formula to provide a word count for my SEO keyphrases, which range from 2 to 8 words. Below is the formula that I thought would work, but I’ve had no such luck…does anyone have any thoughts as to what’s going on here? Thank you in advance! Hi everybody,Our company has 3 x sized boxes - small medium large.We fit the following quantities of our product in each  box:Small - 95Medium - 200Large - 300What I want to do is tell a user how many boxes each order will use. I’ve achieved this with nested IFs:IF({quantity} <= {Small Box (from Link To Products)}, "1 x Small Box", IF({quantity} <= {Medium Box (from Link To Products)}, "1 x Medium Box", IF({quantity} <= {Large Box (from Link To Products)}, "1 x Large Box",ROUND({quantity}/{Large Box (from Link To Products)},2)&" x Large Boxes")))This works well. My only issue is with the last statement when orders exceed 1 x Large Box. With an order larger than the size of 1 x Large Box, it returns a decimal of large boxes e.g. “2.67 x Large Boxes”. My question relates to the deicmal  - I now want my formula to say whether that residual decimal would fir into a small box, medium box or round up to another full large box.I’m used to nested IFs going in one direction, but no

I am on the Free plan for now trying to make sure everything will work …. I’ve got a Find records and no matter what it only returns 10 records, even if I make the only condition where it should catch them all. For example the primary field of “Name” is not empty. Or switching to a View based and still the same result.Is the free account limited on the number of found records? or am I being a major bonehead on my action...

Hello! I’m having more difficulty than I’d like to replace text with a newline.In the Airtable Find & Replace extension script, I’ve modified it to support RegExp find and special character replace. However, when I replace the text with a special character like a newline, it always comes out in a literal text format.Here’s a real basic example of what I’m doing:let originalValue = record.getCellValue(field);let findText = "<br>";let replaceText = "\n";let newValue = originalValue.replace(findText, replaceText);Every time I view the replaced results, there is always a \n in the output: Is it possible to ensure that Airtable treats \n (I’m even doing \u{005C} to try to get around it and it doesn’t work) as an actual newline and not literally as “\n” ?

I’m building a self-referencing task dependency system in Airtable. Each task can list its Predecessors, the tasks that must be completed before it,  and I want Airtable to automatically display the corresponding Successors, the tasks that depend on it, without any code or automation.In short, I’m creating a two-way view of task relationships so that linking one side (Predecessors) automatically reveals the other side (Successors). So in the image attached, “Conduct internal briefing meeting” should show up as a successor in “Project set-up”. If anyone can help this would be amazing!

Hi all, I have been struggling to figure out a way to solve this all day. I am wanting to track checked out laboratory media in an interface graph so that team members who create the media can see how much is being used per week. I’d like this to be automated for the previous week, but specifically Monday through Sunday of the previous week (so that you can check any day of the current week and the numbers would remain the same for the previous week). My plan for this was to set an automation trigger for early Monday morning, that then finds all records within the last 7 days (all checked out items have creation dates + times for the check-out record), and then marks them with a date for the previous week’s Monday, using the Update Record command (which would be found using a formula field consisting of DATEADD(NOW(), -7, 'days'), which will return the previous Monday (because the trigger to pull from this field is occurring Monday morning). The interface would then pull from values wi

Hi everyone, I’m currently testing the ai field agent’s capabilities for automatized tagging of records, but I’ve come across a limitation that I seek to overcome with your help: No centralized tag management. When using the field agent for direct ai tagging, I have not found any option to provide tags in a centralized way, similar to how you can do with linked fields for human tagging. There is the ai recommendation option integrated into the linked record field, but this does only add a recommendation for human usage. Is there a way to have it both? The centralized tagging table and ai field agent tagging? I’m considering injecting an accumulated list, of all entries in my tag table, into the prompt of a simple text ai field agent and have it output it’s selection as a list, which hopefully could be linked via automatization features.

Airtable is unable to load data.We are a company located in Korea. Currently, all accounts within the company are unable to load Airtable data.We need help from someone who knows about the current official maintenance schedule or the error.

I wanted to make a Siri Shortcut that lets me upload a screenshot to Airtable. In my Airtable I have these fields: Screenshot ID (autonumber) Screenshot attachment Descriptive text I got pretty far but either the webhook doesn’t allow images or I’m doing something wrong. I set up the shortcut to make the webhook request using the “Get contents of URL” command in shortcuts. Under “Request body” I selected “Form” and then told the shortcut to send the screenshot and some text to describe it. That seems to be the only way shortcuts allows files to be sent out, the other options are text only. When I test the integration in airtable, it works as long as I’m not trying to send an image. It fails when I test it because the test is sending text into an attachments field. When I run the shortcut with the image included, the api request fails & it says: Multipart upload was specified but is not supported When I run the shortcut as text only, it works and the descriptive text is insert

I’m currently on the Team Plan and building a survey using Interface Forms. However, I encountered an issue where I can no longer add more elements. The error message says:“Your change was reverted because your interface is too big. Try deleting some elements.”My form currently has 249 elements, and all of them are required for the survey — so deleting any of them isn’t an option.May I ask if there’s a way to increase the element limit or an alternative solution to accommodate more questions within the same Interface Form?Thank you in advance for your help!Best regards!

I am using a Free account right now and have a fairly simple automation where every month, if a record as Due Date in the past, the Benefit Interval is 1 I want to update two fields. I want to update the Due Date to the next month, and change the Status to “Unused”. I have successfully tested and run this when there is a single record that meets the criteria however when there is more than one record it errors out. Here is the one that works.  However when two records meets the Find Records criteria and get the error “Received invalid inputs.” Works like a champ for a single record update, just not multiple

I feel like I’m missing something pretty easy. I’m having a hard time converting what I do in Excel into our Airtable base. Each year our clients' total sales (a rollup of their sales for a given year) converts to shares based on a sales/shares tier. The tier changes every year. Because of this, we want to track the data historically. For example:Client ABC’s 2024 Total Sales were $250,000 and they earned 4 shares based on the 2024 shares tier.Client ABC’s 2025 Total Sales were again $250,000, but this year they earned 2 shares because the tiers changed in 2025. We need to track the tier changes each year as to keep data integrity of the shares earned each year by our clients. Table 1 is a database of completed projects, table 2 is a list of invoices. How do I have the linked field in table 1 link to the next available invoice # in table 2? The invoice #s cannot be duplicated and I’d like them to stay chronological. All of this is currently set up, but it’s done manually. First, by searching what invoice # is next then in table 1 under the invoices field, create a new record with the next invoice # in line. Is there a simpler way to do this? Table 1 Table 2

Hi, I am pretty new to this and not a developer. We are using Airtable for our product database for our Shopify store, and have Airpower as the sync between them. This works pretty good, but there is one major thing we need that Airpower does not support.We need the number of "committed" inventory of the products to sync from Shopify into Airtable in real-time. Right now, the Airpower Inventory sync only brings the "available" number through, but both are required for us, and we need the data to by syncing constantly so it's up to date.Is this something we could use a webhook for? Or is there a simpler process?

Is there a way to use Airtable sync to conditionally sync data from one base to another? I need to only sync specific records and not all of the records in table.If it is not possible using Airtable sync, is there any other way of accomplishing this?

Am I overcomplicating this?I have an automation to create a time stamp in a Date Completed field when a Status single-select field is changed to Done. The Date Completed field is populated with the full date and time, but I need to utilize this information in a Reporting interface for my management so I’d like to be able to have them select the month from a Dropdown Filter. To that end, I’ve created Month Completed field that uses a simple formula to just show the 3-letter code for the month, based on the Date Completed field.The issue I’m having now is that I’m not able to use that 3-letter code (because it’s a formula field?) as a filter on the Dashboard.I could create another automation that’ll convert the formula field into plain text or even a single-select field, but I feel like I’ve now created a whole bunch of steps to do something that might be accomplished in a simpler method. Note that the Month Completed info isn’t being used anywhere else. Hi all! I have a problem that I feel should have an obvious solution: I’d like to set up an Automation that normalizes a string value after input by base collaborators. However, the Automation appears to run too early, catching only parts of the input string. (This behavior is not consistent, though: From time to time the Automation will catch the whole string.) I selected When record updated as trigger and configured it to watch only for changes in a specific field (in my case: Keyword). Example from the screenshot: The entered text is “Aldi Angebote”, but the Automations appears to run already after the first letters are typed in, so only “Ald” is used as Automation input. What’s the best way to solve this problem? Is there a better trigger for this use case that I am missing?
