I have a base that I’ve published as a library, let’s call it Part Numbers. It only has two fields - a Part Number and a description. I have 2 or 3 other bases that are pulling in this library as a table, and they’re linking records to it.I now need to make some updates to the Part Numbers base - some individual #s may be deleted, or descriptions might be changed, etc. If I upload a new CSV to the main library base and overwrite everything that’s there, but many of the #s never change at all, will the linked records in other bases stay linked?

Hi everyone.As part of my job, I have to send a form to my customers, so that they can provide me with production data. iToday, this transfer is done via an Excel file.Tomorrow I'd like to digitize the method.I'm looking to create a form template, which will be sent to my customers, so that they can provide me with the information.The form filled in by the customer must be unique (unique url).The customer would also need to be able to consult and modify the form at any time.At certain times, he can't collect the information all at once.It would also be interesting if the unique form were password-protected.The data will be stored in a dedicated table.Do you have any ideas on how to go about this?Thank you very much!

Hello. Am developing an app using Flutter. Would like to find if I can use Airtable as my database. Is there an API that I can use to integrate Airtable with Flutter? Will need to be able to do all CRUD operations. If so, is there any documentation that I can refer to? Thank you!

I would like to send an email at 10am every week day to orders with the status ‘past due’. At the moment I have an automation with Trigger > at a scheduled time Action > find records (if status is ‘past due’) Action > send email however the test email fails due to “Cannot email more than 25 recipients at a time.” at the moment it is adding every recipient to one giant email, rather than separate emails. Is there a way to have it send out separate emails for each ‘past due’ record? I don’t want all of my clients to see each others email address :slightly_smiling_face: Thanks

I have a form for Licensure to get submitted, but I am wanting the person submitting to see the Description of the Code that is chosen.I can't seem to get this to show how I want because I need on my database to have a column with ONLY the code to be passed over on the file I generate.  Ultimately what I want is what you see below.  I want the "License Code - PS to be what is showing.  If we have someone in certain states I need it to change to a certain code.  Here is what it should look like (coming from step 3 below, but read why I don't seem to like this).  I tried a few items listed below:1. First, I wanted to use a formula in the Automations, but it won't allow this from what I could see.  I can chooseStatic or Dynamic to update the record, but can't use a Formula here.2. Hello Airtable Community, I have experienced recently a misunderstanding with an automation of Airtable. I have a Plus Plan but the number automations free are 0, It says I have done 50.000 automatizations and now I cannot try my app anymore. I don’t need even 50.000 automatizations by now but It has been a misunderstanding of an automation of “When record updates” in the Collections base. This Collections Base is linked with the products (that are 1.000) and this products are sync with Shopify AirPower API that sync the changes every time. So the solution, i think, is to do not watch this records in the automatization… but I did not noticed earlier… Is there any solution on this type of situations? I am a developer and I need to keep working with the automatizations to develop an web for my client, even upgrading to Pro Plan will stop the work for this month as I have achieved 50.000 automatizations… What could I do? We are looking to enable users outside our domain (parents of our students) to submit a form with an attachment. If we turn on the setting "Allow unrestricted access to shared forms" at the org level what other impact might that have from a security perspective? We are using AirTable to manage very sensitive data about our students. Thanks!

We’ve created an airtable base for submissions from teams, and then those need to be reviewed by assigned reviewers.  In the form, the review must select their own name. In another field, they need to select the project they are reviewing. I would like to filter the projects that are options to be just the ones the review is assigned to.  Is there a formula to say the “Assigned Review” field matches the name selected in the review name field?  As a work around, I was going to use filter by View -- but I’m also not seeing that option anymore. Was that moved? 

Hi, I am looking into options or workarounds to check if a value of a record exists in database before submitting a form. Is there a third party software or tool that is compatible with Airtable to do this? or is there any workaround with an automation to submit the form and check if record exists. If it does not exist, open again the form and show an error message to fill out a correct email. I would appreciate any suggestions.Thank you.

I need external parties to update existing records. I have successfully created a second base that serves as the receiver of the updated fields. I accomplished that by creating a form in the second base and using the URL from the form to create a formula field in the first base that will pass a record identifier to the second base. The URL works well and the record identifier from the first base shows up in the new record (RequestID) in the second base to match the record being updated from the first base. My problem seems to be with the automation. I am using when the form, from the second base, is submitted to trigger the automation. I then added update record to the automation. Based on a video covering the topic by Julian Post, I list the second table called New Update as the Table in the configuration. I list RequestID from the second table as the Record ID. It relies on a table for transactions with various fields, as well as a table called Rules, with the rules I want to create for my categorizations. Hi all.So I seem to be stuck. I have a table called People. 100s of records with them all associated with a Company Name (from Company Table). Some people are designated (checkbox) as being a billing contact or primary contact for a company. All of this is great. I made a view called People By Billing view that shows me just those markedNow each year we sent out invoices. We have a table called Payments, with one record for each Company in the Company Table.  This is all good. Here is where I am frozen. What I want to do is pull those that are marked as primary or billing from People to link in the Payments. We want this because we send out emails via the SendGrid tool to those people and attach the Payment ID to it so we can process. I wrote a script that loops through a People By Billing and writes them to a linked record in Payments but it keeps overwriting the record already in the linked record, and honestly, I don’t feel like this needs to be a formula. However, I sometimes receive emails with information that belongs to different records in Airtable.Initially, I receive an order confirmation. I have been using AT for about a year now and love how I can incorporate it to my project management and our companies overall workflow. I am now starting to get the hang of forms but am wondering if I can take it a step further. Here is what I am trying to achieve: I understand that you can embed a form onto a website to get information shot back to your AT. I am wondering if you can do the opposite and share that exact form with another individual, with pre-fille information, a pre-attached file(s) without having to share the record with the person through email. When a record if shared from the original form, the information (record) just gets emailed to the person and that does me no good because I would like to have a “single select” field where someone can approve the form that is being sent to them. If this helps for visual/functional purposes: I want to send over a URL link (custom generated form) to individual customers so that they can approve or deny proofs that our company

I’m exploring using field agents to extract data from documents.  I’ve got 7 agents running, each looking for different information (job#, project manager, start date, due date etc).  When all of those agents are finished with their tasks, I want to trigger an automation to do stuff with all the data they’ve extracted.  How can i do this?

I think I have painted myself into a corner here. Appreciate any advice.We’ve migrated from another system that generated autonumbers for our Leads.I’ve imported all the  leads them into my Leads table. It is critical I keep the old data - it can’t be changed as all our  work for these clients has been against that specific ID number.You can see from my Screenshot that column A has the ID number (now a text field), column B has the customer name, and column C is a joining of the two (but just a text field for now, no formula/concatenation used).I have tossed in a 4th autonumber column to try and create a formula that carries on the numbering from column A (Lead Number). But now I’m stumped. Having an ‘m’ at the beginning of the Lead number does not help - otherwise I presume a simple sum formula to add the lead number to the autonumber would suffice. It’s like I need historical numbers to be text, but all future records to be a formula.Any ideas? THE HELP ARTICLE SAYS IT’S LOCATED IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER.  IT’S NOT INTERFACE DESIGNER "ADD ELEMENT" BUTTON IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. What an I doing wrong?   Do I have to install “Interface Designer”? I click “ Interfaces” on the top center of my base and have created several interfaces.  None of them have an “ADD ELEMENT” button. I’m simply trying to add some instructions on this interface and I don’t need it to be a long text field.  I just want to add a Text element to add helpful formatted text, links, lists, descriptions to my interfaces. SUPER FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I have two forms on my website: An interest-gauging form where the client fills in their name, email, and a brief message, and a longer form that they’re emailed later. 📄I’d rather not have “John Smith” in two separate databases. Is there a way, upon submitting the second form, for the answers to be combined with or added to the records from the first form, like if they share the same email address or something? 🤔

Hi,We run a photo studio CRM with Airtable, and would like to start storing customer end product images there. This would mean some 20-30 images at 2-3 mega each and hundreds of customers annually. We’re on the Team plan so have 20 gigs limitation per base for attachments, so space would end quite soon.The for me easy and obvious solution was to write to Airtable sales to ask if one could just pay for more storage, since we don’t need the Business plan additional features (and eventually that would also hit storage limitations), but they don’t seem to be responding.I know the storage limit is per base so I guess one could somehow create more bases just for adding attachment storage, but I don’t see how to do that. And it seems this would create problems when we need the second, the the third “extra” base.Hence my question here, what would your experiences be with this?Any best practices here?Rgds,Björn

Hi Everyone,I pay people through Airtable for piece-rate work. On the backend, the data is organised by tasks and by day (e.g. Task 1, Task 2, Task 3 – Monday; Task 1, Task 2, Task 3 – Tuesday, and so on).There’s a button that lets me “Email Payslip,” but when I use it the PDF that goes out to employees ends up jumbled. The tasks are out of order (for example: Task 3 – Wednesday, Task 2 – Tuesday, Task 4 – Monday), which makes the payslip confusing and hard for employees to read.Does anyone know how I can fix the output so the payslip shows the tasks in the correct order?Any help greatly appreciated
