Hi all,Seeing lots of posts from 2021 and 2022 about an inability to print from Airtable. When I go to print either a record review interface, or from the page designer, the generated PDF is an absolute mess.A lot of the posts say Airtable are working on it, so hoping that in the 2 or 3 years that progress has been made, or a work around solution has been found?If not, is it fair to conclude that printing from Airtable requires an external app and to factor those costs in when assessing costs for Airtable?Thank you,Ryan

Howdy all, I promise I really have looked at exisitng topics but there is information overload. Ideally I would like ot use ODBC driver to connect to AT to Windows via ODBC driver, I found several but they are all expensive subscriptions.  It seems AT may have its own ODBC driver now??  But I can’t find it anywhere in the AT documentation. What is the best extension or method to use data from multiple tables within a base, fill in essentially form letters WITHOUT using the extensions that you have to put the information boxes on the template.   The data I have for the body of the “letters” is sometimes several pages and I can’t find an extension that doesn’t chop off the rest of the text once it goes beyond the bottom of the information box or window we placed in the page setup.  We are printing the letters to PDF. Any suggestions for something that would act as “mailmerge” or is an annual ODBC sub to CCData or Devart the best way to go?? Thanks!!!

Hi All,I want to create a tennis league and publish it on my webstite which I created in Webflow. The database is to be dynamic, information will be added using a airtable form. There will be 16 players in the league and they will play each others. The goal is to get the current league table and ranking. On the page I want to display the results of all the players' matches (example - 6:2 3:6 7:5), the current position and the amount of points collected so far. I have used SOFTR + AirTable to build a project management portal for my customers. The primary purpose of this portal is to have a common place for my customers to enter information that will be used in the video projects we build for them, so my customers must be able to login with a user (client) account. When onboarding a customer I need to create 3 records:The athlete record, which operates like the “company” record in a CRM The User account record which is a user in the softr platform The project record which is where the customer work will get done. It is linked to the athlete record and the user account record.The softr user table is sync’d/linked to a table in airtable called users.  Generally, I assume it is normal for the softr user accounts (clients) to be created using the softr studio interface. Hello AT community,I am seeking advice, general or specific, on achieving frictionless label printing for employees using our base.Our current setup is fully functional, but the process is clunky for users. We have Dymo LabelWriter 4XL's set up at various stations, and we have labels designed in Page Designer. Our receiving station, for example, has a Receiving Interface, and labels need to be created for everything we receive.To print a label, the user has to click a button in the grid element of the interface for the line just received, which redirects them to the record in the underlying base (already a bad situation), then click a button that takes them to page designer, then click 'print' 3 or 4 times to get a label to come out.My background is in warehouse distribution, where our purpose-built warehouse management software would simply print a label as soon as something is received, that is the level of functionality we want to mimic, or come close to.So we are looking at 3rd par

Hi! I’m building an internal interface for my team to manage tasks. While I love the clean look of Interfaces, it’s frustrating that we can’t manually reorder records (drag-and-drop) within a list or table.In the base view, we can reorder records manually, but in Interfaces we’re stuck with sorting rules or creation order, and new records always go to the bottom.For teams using Interfaces to manage workflows (without exposing the full base), this feature would be incredibly helpful.Are there any plans to enable manual ordering or drag-and-drop within Interfaces in the near future?Thanks!

Hi,I want to ask for Ideas to optimize AI Attachment Analyze workflowMy files are named with random group of chars.I created a table, where Attachment uploaded to ‘File’ field. There is AI field READ that analyze content of Attachment, and outputs a few parameters needed to categorize.For Example, it’s ‘Doc Number’, ‘pages’, ‘City’ ‘Doc date’, ‘Summary’. City is single-select. After AI filled this data, automation triggered, that puts each data in respective fieldThen formula field ‘New filename’ generates name according to this data.Then automation launched by ‘New filename’ renames a file and puts it to ‘Document’ field(i suppose that each record has 1 file only, if more, it gets only with first in cell. it’s OK)it all works OK, but since I don’t need 2 doc fields, I changed Automation so it renames file and puts back into the same ‘File’ field . But this triggers AI again.  AI gets the same data so nothing changes after that. But I don’t like that it makes second run. It’s not just

Good afternoon,I'm trying to use Airtable automations to send an email to folks through my Gmail account. Airtable is directly connected to my Gmail account. The emails send successfully, but the problem is that when the email shows up in the recipients' inboxes, the sender name is just my first name in all lower case (e.g., "matt"), but I'm sending it on behalf of an organization. This is unprofessional and isn't what I'm trying to communicate to my recipients. So my question is:How can I change the "Sender" on these emails when using Airtable Automations to send emails through my Gmail account?I already confirmed my Gmail settings, my Google account settings, etc. Honestly, it looks like it's just pulling the info from my email address (e.g., "matt" from "matt@company.com").Surely there's a way around this???TIA,ML  

Bit of a messy title, I couldn’t think of a good way to phrase this question…I have a table that stores inventory items, each item can have one of three status’ “Available”, “Gifted” or “Sold”. I’m trying to create a view that only returns the name of an item where there are none with a status of Available. So for example the view shouldn’t return this item:But it should return this one Is this possible to achieve and if so, how?

I am reaching out here in desperation because the “contact support” feature in Airtable does not work at all in my workspace, across multiple browsers and devices. Firstly, my “Team” plan workspace has a base, and my base has a form. It is the only form present in the base.After the recent UI update, that form is not visible in the “Forms” tab on the top middle. The system pretends that my base doesn’t have any forms.However, I can still access the form via my bookmarked public link. Additionally, I can submit the form and it successfully will add a record to my base.I need to edit this form, but it is currently not possible to access the edit page of the form. Normally, I would reach out to Support about this. However, when I click the “?” icon on the bottom left and then select “Message Support”, it opens up a blank white rectangle on the bottom right of the screen that does nothing.I know from experience that this should be a chatbot interface. Howdy, We recently turned on AI for our AirTable Workspace and I am impressed so far! It makes one-off questions easier to answer. For instance, the AI clearly answered my questions with an interactive display of the records. Very cool! The example above is a question that is more than a one-off question. This is something that I both want to run repeatedly AND use the found records to perform a scripted action. I am not yet familiar with AirTable scripting and hoped that perhaps AirTable AI could give me a head start. Unfortunately, I could not figure out how to properly ask AirTable AI to describe how my question could be turned into a the start of a script.  My question for the AirTable community is: If I have a question that I want to be able to run repeatedly (and/or take additional steps for a scripting extension or automation), can I use AirTable AI to help give me a head start for that script?

Hello friends , iam a noob airtable user , i’m in charge of a table that recieves data from an api in json format , the output is all in one line , so when i try to extract a value from a key using regex it does not work (it shows error) unless i use a website or manually fix the indentations and beautify the json text . is there anyway to fix this issue using formulas or some extension that iam not aware of ? Hello - I am using the amazing pre-filled form extension by @kuovonne to pull form data entered into one table that is then updated with a pre-filled form. The only issue I am having is the date field from the original entry is moved back by one day when the pre-filled form is created (and then updates a new record with the wrong date). I have tried looking at the time zone settings, but have had no luck. Is there any thought about where the fix might live? Thank you!

Hi, I’m new on using this product and we are trying to integrate this into our system. I managed to setup the api and make some requests however, during my testing in the list records api with `POST` method. I was trying to use this parameter `returnFieldsByFieldId` in the request body but got an error stating this..```{ "error": {      "type": "INVALID_REQUEST_UNKNOWN",      "message": "Invalid request: parameter validation failed. Check your request data."  }}```Mentioned parameter works with `GET` request. Tried a bunch of boolean equivalent for this parameter like-  1-  true-  True-  TRUEHoping someone can help. TIA.

Hi folks, I’ve searched and attempted to fix this on my own to no avail. Whether on my iPhone or iPad I cannot get the images I take within Airtable (using their camera inside the app) to save to my devices camera roll. I have toggled the app setting for this on and off multiple times in an effort to get it to work and my version of the app is the latest. Any ideas?

Dear Airtable Team,I have encountered some difficulty when working with tables that have many columns. Currently, to view the information on the far right, I can only use the mouse to drag the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the webpage. This method is inefficient and somewhat inconvenient.I would like to suggest considering improvements to the horizontal scrolling functionality, such as: Enabling horizontal scrolling of the table using the mouse wheel; Alternatively, implementing a canvas-like mode similar to Photoshop, where holding the spacebar and dragging with the left mouse button allows users to pan across the table smoothly. Such features would greatly enhance the convenience and efficiency of navigating wide tables. Hello!I’m working on moving our team into an interface for a better UI experience (and for more control on what is seen and editable). We currently have our work split among two tables (actually there is also a need to connect a completely separate base, but one problem at a time).Is there a way for me to have dates from both tables in one single calendar view that I could have as an interface page? The tables have a parent (projects) and child (tasks) relationship where the tasks are linked to the project record. However, not every project has a connected task.Can I build this with lookup tables and formulas and automations?

Hello im trying to build an ERP for my food business we manufacture and package fast food, so my main goal using airtable is to control raw materials, receiving of raw materials, production control, finished product control, recipes, and inventory.Since my Finished product (recipe) consists of various ingredients, im wondering if its possible to populate said ingredients taken from my recipe table to my production table every time I add (manually) the quantity of items to be produced in the day. or if the is a simpler solution would be great, im trying to control de raw materials consumption during production.    

Hello everyone,I'm facing a challenge with automating the synchronization between two tables: "Meeting Notes" and "Tasks."Goal:When an entry of type "Action" is created in "Meeting Notes," a corresponding task should automatically be created in the "Tasks" table. Changes to an entry in either table should be automatically synchronized in the other table.Current Implementation: I've created a formula field in both tables that checks if the entry has been modified within the last 15 minutes: IF( AND( DATETIME_DIFF(NOW(),LAST_MODIFIED_TIME(), "minutes") >= 1, DATETIME_DIFF(NOW(),LAST_MODIFIED_TIME(),"minutes") <15 ), 1, 0) An automation is triggered by this formula field when it's "1" and the type is "Action." The automation then creates or updates the corresponding entry in the other table. Problem:The formula field remains at "1" even after the 15 minutes have elapsed. This causes the automations to be triggered repeatedly and unnecessarily.Question:Does anyone have an i
