Hello! I’m having more difficulty than I’d like to replace text with a newline.In the Airtable Find & Replace extension script, I’ve modified it to support RegExp find and special character replace. However, when I replace the text with a special character like a newline, it always comes out in a literal text format.Here’s a real basic example of what I’m doing:let originalValue = record.getCellValue(field);let findText = "<br>";let replaceText = "\n";let newValue = originalValue.replace(findText, replaceText);Every time I view the replaced results, there is always a \n in the output: Is it possible to ensure that Airtable treats \n (I’m even doing \u{005C} to try to get around it and it doesn’t

I hate to make my first post a complaint, but I am at my wits' end.Two days ago, after extensive research, I decided Airtable would work for me and signed up for a year's subscription to the $20 USD a month plan.After logging into both the web interface and app, I find I am still on a FREE plan.I tried seeking help through the chat system; it was a complete waste of energy—nothing happened other than being told to contact sales.I messaged sales, but got no response.I emailed support and received a prompt reply: "Yes, we will investigate."Two days later, I'm still not upgraded and have received no further support other than "We are looking into this."This is unacceptable and unworkable—I don't want to risk my business on this type of “support.”I asked for a refund.Ignored.I am about to start a chargeback/fraud report with my bank.If anyone has the king's ear, tell them to sort their support team out.

I’m currently editing a list interface, and under “appearance” there is the normal record coloring, and then there is something called “field text color:” Does anyone know what this is and how to use it?I’ve attached a photo of what I’m talking about 

Having a few issues with new dashboards...Is there a way to not use a list, but instead use a grid layout for data on a dashboard? List view, especially here where you can not do levels, is useless.Is there a way to edit records in-line in the dashboard? no matter what I do, I can't seem to make it editable and have to expand each record individually. Not really working for our flow. ps... any news of Record List moving to the new upgraded interface versions?

Hi guysThis community is great by the way. Thanks for everyone here! I have a record list but all the groups need to be collapsed manually, and given that I have >200 groups this is not practical. I can’t right click on it (that’s perhaps only in “list” interfaces -- I’m in the “Record List”) Thanks for your help - I’m happy to sign a petition to implement this as Record List is a nice view Soeren

I’m building a self-referencing task dependency system in Airtable. Each task can list its Predecessors, the tasks that must be completed before it,  and I want Airtable to automatically display the corresponding Successors, the tasks that depend on it, without any code or automation.In short, I’m creating a two-way view of task relationships so that linking one side (Predecessors) automatically reveals the other side (Successors). So in the image attached, “Conduct internal briefing meeting” should show up as a successor in “Project set-up”. If anyone can help this would be amazing!

I have an automation that invokes an API taht requires authentication credentials. What is the best way to store those credentials so they cannot be read outside of the automation? Does the input.config do anything to obfuscate them?

Hi. Thank you in advance, I am wondering if there is a way to show numbers with thousand/comma separator if you combine it with a text in a formula field using concatenate. My Amount field is in currency format. Current Formula: CONCATENATE(Amount, " ", {asking-currency})Much appreciated.   

Hi everyone,I’m building a List Interface in Airtable and would like to know if it’s possible to freeze (or lock) the first column, similar to how you can freeze columns in grid views.When scrolling horizontally through fields in the List layout, the first column (which usually contains key identifiers like names or IDs) scrolls out of view, making it difficult to track which record I’m looking at.Is there a built-in way to freeze the first column in a List Interface, or any workaround that others have found helpful?Thanks in advance for any insights or suggestions!— Sean

I’m an event promotor. I’ve been using AT for a while to keep track of community member applications, event details, and general ticket sales. I want to get a better sense of real time income via sale so I’d like to update the base.Right now, I have 3 tables in the base:Member List - Record for each member with personal info Events - Record for each event (Party A, Party B, Party C, etc) Ticket Types - Record for each type of ticket (Full price, 25% off, 50% off, comped, etc)None of these include price of the ticket and I would like to start tracking that.Thinking the tables should be this, but I’m not sure:Member List - Same as above Events - Same as above, but add in pricing columns for different ticket types — Tier 1 = $90, Tier 2 = $100, Tier 3 = $110, etc. The pricing can change from event to event so the amounts cannot be a universal across all events. I’m trying to embed a calendar view, but the data view isn’t matching the embed view:Data view (the one I want): Embedded view (no bueno): Normally I’d just set the view in the embedded version, but this will be on a TV with a refresh/animation every half an hour, so that’s not really feasible. I created an interface with two pages, and one is not showing the information to the viewers. They are getting an error that says "Cannot access this data."Other details...There are two pages in the interface --- one is a list, and one is a record detail page that only allows them to see their own record.They are all able to see their own record, but the list won't show up. The "Users can see" is set to "Specific records" and has one condition on it (status field = active).When I preview the page as the viewers, I'm able to see everything.What am I missing?

Hi all, I have been struggling to figure out a way to solve this all day. I am wanting to track checked out laboratory media in an interface graph so that team members who create the media can see how much is being used per week. I’d like this to be automated for the previous week, but specifically Monday through Sunday of the previous week (so that you can check any day of the current week and the numbers would remain the same for the previous week). My plan for this was to set an automation trigger for early Monday morning, that then finds all records within the last 7 days (all checked out items have creation dates + times for the check-out record), and then marks them with a date for the previous week’s Monday, using the Update Record command (which would be found using a formula field consisting of DATEADD(NOW(), -7, 'days'), which will return the previous Monday (because the trigger to pull from this field is occurring Monday morning). The interface would then pull from values

Hi all, as of today CTRL-F is not opening a search bar within a grid on my interface page.  I use this feature maybe 100 times a day and its a big part of my workflow.I rebooted, signed in/out, tried a different web browser, no luck.  This is hugely disruptive and I’m not particularly interested in creating a new interface list page with the native search feature.  There are other elements on my original page that I reference ALL the time that won’t be visible with a dedicated list.  Anyone else run into this and find a solution?  I submitted a ticket with support and they’ll get back to me in 1 to 2 days….

I know this has been raised before as a feature request but is there a way to add a default value to a date field through automations or some other mechanism other than pleading airtable to implement or a third party add-on? Thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I’m currently testing the ai field agent’s capabilities for automatized tagging of records, but I’ve come across a limitation that I seek to overcome with your help: No centralized tag management. When using the field agent for direct ai tagging, I have not found any option to provide tags in a centralized way, similar to how you can do with linked fields for human tagging. There is the ai recommendation option integrated into the linked record field, but this does only add a recommendation for human usage. Is there a way to have it both? The centralized tagging table and ai field agent tagging? I’m considering injecting an accumulated list, of all entries in my tag table, into the prompt of a simple text ai field agent and have it output it’s selection as a list, which hopefully could be linked via automatization features.

Hello the script I am pairing with my tables is not running a test and giving me feedback on whether it is completed or not.  It just started today as well.  I checked my account limits and have not exceeded them.  Can anyone advise on this issue?

Thanks for any help on this.Can someone point me to a similar procedure that does the following:After a record is updated:User clicks a button to send a text with information from the updated record A SMS text is sent with this information to a constant, static list of telephone numbers.I’ve looked up several things on Youtube related to this, but they always seem to be too simple for what I’m looking for or too complex.I do use Zapier.  I did create a trial Twilio account.  I don’t mind sending with my own phone, this will only be 4-5 texts per week to 2 or 3 people.Just pointing me to a similar process I think I’ll be able to sort it out.Thank you.

When using the Airtable JS SDK, it seems impossible to use the offset with select to do proper pagination. The type specifies `number` but any value I pass gives me an invalid value error. The web API uses a string offset that's returned from the request. Since this is TS, you can't use a string value with the SDK. Is it possible to paginate with the JS SDK?
