HI everyone,I have an interface setup for my iPhone and iPad. If I open the interface do some work and leave it open to come back to. When I do come back to it, say 5mins later, the app will reset and request I sign back in. I’m on an iPhone 14 and iOS is up to date. I’ve deleted the Airtable app and reinstalled.Is this common issue? Did I miss something on the Interface setup? Should I access the Interface differently?

Hello, in my department we use Airtable for people to register when they want to attend any of our workshops. Is there a way to connect Airtable and Outlook and have some sort of automation where when someone registers for one of our workshops they automatically get a calendar invite on their outlook calendar about the event?

I have a base setup for a check in system. When a user checks in through the airtable form that triggers a notification to slack. Within the form users can upload an image file which I am able to see on airtable. The form is updating on slack but the image shows up as a url that when clicked it gives this error: “The link you're trying to visit is not available. Please visit our support center for more information.” Any ideas for how to troubleshoot this? 

Hello and thanks in advance for reading and for your help ! :) I have a table called Modeles_de_mails where I store email templates.One field, Objet_du_mail, contains a subject with a placeholder that look like this :Nouvelle demande d’intervention {{Ressource}} In another table, Locations_ressources, I have a field named Ressource that contains the actual value I want to insert (for example: Planétarium). My goal is to automatically update the subject line so it becomes:Nouvelle demande d’intervention Planétarium  based on the linked record’s Ressource value. I want to know: What is the correct way to replace a placeholder like {{Ressource}} with the value coming from a linked table? Do I have to use a Lookup field to bring the value into

I’m not sure if this is possible with AirTable, but I’m hoping someone more savvy can help me brainstorm a solution. BACKGROUND: I’m a lawyer, and I’d like to create a database of cases that are cited in briefing, so that I can go back and reference my notes / summaries of each case when they are cited again in a new case. The thing I’m struggling with right now is whether there is a way to associate each case with its Jurisdiction (the court that decided the case) and its Reporter (the publication where the case appears). There is a limited universe of Jurisdictions and Reporters, most of which I have pulled into separate tables already. Cases come from one of the following: The U.S. Supreme Court One of the state supreme courts One of the U.S. Courts of Appeal One of the state appellate courts One of the U.S. District Courts One of the state trial courts Each case from

Any plans to allow the admins to adjust the user data fields similar to how the bases are configured with the ability to select and hide/delete fields we want to see by users depending on the use case? Or use a field selection similar to Service Now’s field selection? Currently what I see on the Admin panel is very limited and I don’t see the ability to adjust (add or delete)  

Are there plans to have the ability to create more than three heirachy levels? The use case is as follows: I would like to be able to create a hierachy that includes: InitiativesEpicsProjects/FeaturesStoriesTasksCurrently I can only link the bottom three  

Hey all, I noticed that my automations that rely on new rows as triggers on Google Sheets no longer seem to be triggering. I created a new base and a new sheet and tested, just to discard issues on my sheet or AT base, but it looks like this new automation didn’t work either. Is this issue happening to anyone else? I checked the status pages of Google and Airtable, but couldn’t find any info. 

I have found some posts on printing mailing labels via Page Designer, but they were from 2018. Since it is 2023, I was hoping if there was a way to print on Avery labels with Airtable. I don't have an actual label printer, just a regular old printer and some Avery sheet labels. Be aware that every label would be unique.Example: 

I run a small non-profit and we use Airtable to track all of our donors/volunteers/etc. I want to do address labels for a mailing. We currently have the columns set up as First Name, Spouse Name, Last Name, Street Address, City, State, Zip. Is there an easy way to print labels from Airtable? If the best way is to export, then how do I get around that my columns are too specific (ie I need First, Spouse, Last name to be one line, and City, State, Zip to be one line). Thanks!

I would like to print mailing labels from my database. How to do it?

I have used the block “Page Designer” to create a 3x5 label which I would like to then print to a rolled label printer one at a time or as needed. We will affix these labels to the front of our job folders for internal use. Has anyone used a Rollo Label Printer – Commercial Grade Direct Thermal High Speed Printer or something comparable to accomplish this? It appears this type printer is used mainly for shipping purposes, and I am worried airtable will not communicate well with it for printing purposes. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I am a business specialist for a company and I also teach workout classes for the women in our office 3 times a week. I have a fitness Airtable base where I have added all the exercises I like with a muscle group field. I am trying to find a way to automatically generate a workout to reduce the time I have to spend coming up with a set of exercises. For example, we worked chest and triceps yesterday so today I want to generate a workout that includes x number of exercises with x number being bicep workouts, x number being back workouts, and x being ab workouts.I have very minimal developer experience but I can edit and update pieces of a script if given the outline. 

What are some good software options for automating generation of word docs using data from a record in Airtable? I would like to be able to trigger the automation in an Airtable interface (as opposed to an extension on the data side).

Hello,I think I'm at my limits with trying to get Airtable to function as we really envisioned.  Anyone know the best place to find Airtable consultants with likely programming abilities?  A few of the things we really wanted to do were:1. Create a custom form that goes to contacts and their selections would filter back into our main table but this needs to be very limited with selections as certain items we code on contacts are internal only.2.  A mass emailer.  We use Airtable as a giant database for our independent contractors and code them by areas they cover and preferences.  We have Zapier and an external operations system and would love the ability to integrate all so that we can send a mass email to a designated list of names/email addresses based on a filter that looks nice and inputs the key job data available from our operations software (SQL Server database).  Have struggled with this one and even though we have t

Hello everyone,I’ve created an Airtable to help manage pre-production workflows and am struggling to get what I think is a simple automation running; I’d like that when a record is assigned a contact person (The “Assigned?” field is “Yes”) and given an “Assignee” to carry out this task, that the status of that record be updated in the “Interviewees” table to “Contact Assigned.” This is the automation I’ve set up so far but no matter what I do, I keep getting the “Record does not exist” error.

Hello all.I’m looking to have a column (field) of field agents run/process once a week on a Monday morning. FYI these agents a prompted to go out to the internet and retrieve x information. There are no automation options specifically to do this - am I missing something or how else can this be achieved?Currently I’m thinking about having an automation that changes a field in each record (say make it today’s date), and that is something the field agent is monitoring to kick it off and run. Feels a bit hacky, but if anyone has better ideas please let me know. 

I’m looking at building an interface to streamline inputting some information but before I think about redesigning my current database I just want to check if it’s possible to create an interface that would allow information to be updated across multiple tables?Even more complicated, would it be possible for the interface to react live to automations? To try to give a bit of context I want to have a contract table where the top line contract information is kept - as part of this an automation creates different versions of a product linked to that contract in an editions table…Could an interface handle me entering the contract detail and then have the editions appear ready to be edited?  

I just added a new user as Portal Editor in a portal interface. Let’s call them {USERNAME}After they used the portal, Airtable upgraded their seat to Editor.(I am the only admin, and I know this upgrade was not done by me, so it was done by Airtable) The Admin panel lists the upgrade event as, “{USERNAME} made edits to Interface {INTERFACE}"Now, I know that {USERNAME} didn’t actually edit the interface, because they don’t have base access. And I know that portal editors are *supposed* to be able to change fields via the interface.So what the heck does the upgrade event “{USERNAME} made edits to Interface {INTERFACE}" mean? I can’t find this documented anywhere.Thanks for any insight,Natalka

Hi everyone 👋 I’m using Airtable on the Team Plan, and I manage several bases within the same workspace.Each base is shared with different people (some as Editor, Commenter, or Read-only).I want to make sure that none of these collaborators especially Editors, Commenters, or Read-only users can duplicate, copy, or move my bases into their personal workspaces. What should I do?  Thanks for your help.
