I am currently working with Airtable Interfaces and noticed that the Label component provides only basic formatting options such as Bold, Italic, and Underline. In many dashboard scenarios, we require more advanced capabilities such as: Adding dynamic field values inside the label Including conditional formatting Displaying additional contextual information Adding icons or visual indicators Supporting richer text formatting or layout control At present, the Label appears to be static and limited in customization. For reporting dashboards and operational monitoring use cases, enhanced label flexibility would significantly improve clarity and user experience. Is there any current workaround to achieve this?If not, would this enhancement be considered in the future roadmap? For the Reference I have just added the Image.
All records in the timeline have a WBS code, for example 1.17.2, and also a zero-padded version like 001.017.002. In a grid view this allows clean hierarchical sorting without any issues. However, in the timeline view the records are still arranged primarily by start date. As shown in the screenshot, the configured sort on the WBS Sort field is not reflected in the vertical order. Is there any way to force the timeline to display records strictly according to the hierarchical WBS order instead of by start date?
I recently got a new Ipad to use when referencing my Airtable database. I noticed that a number of data entries. were missing. I cleaned that up a best as I could. Today I saw that this was still happening between the old IPad and the new one. I cleaned that up, them login to the database with my laptop, and it is missing everything I put it today. Up until recently if I put something in on the IPad it was immediately available on the laptop. I refreshed, relogged in. I’m not sure what is going on.
I have an interface that I use to visualize key data for our clients. There’s a record picker at the top where the client name can be selected. However, we have some clients that fall under a larger parent company, and for those I’d like to aggregate their data into 1 dashboard per parent org.I tried to create a version of the interface in a dashboard layout, but when I do and create a new group from the Clients table where most of the data is stored, it won’t let me create a filter based on the client name (only other fields in the client table show as options). Please help! Has anyone else encountered this? Have you figured out solutions/workarounds?
Hi ThereWe are a UK company using Airtable to manage / power all areas of our business. We absolutely love the product but are becoming a little nervous with downtime incidents. This is because our companies workforce is simply paralysed without it.We would like to implement a basic form of 3rd party backup / restore service. We’ve just setup an account with On2Air to evaluate their offering.Appreciate there’s a bunch of previous posts on this topic but would appreciate links to any recent services or with what you may be using successfully. Thank you for your help in advance. 🙏
Is it possible to create an automation that sends new records created at the end of each day? Each Record would have multiple sub records and each sub records would have a photo as one of the fields. I would like the email to display the Record and sub records with the photos attached so that an email recipient who doesn’t have access to the Airtable database can view the photos. Maybe there is another way to do that without creating attachments? Can this even be done?
Hello all Have a script that creates new records in a table and then populates select fields in these newly created records with values from previous values. Works good, but I am interested in adding a new conditional argument that will do the following: IF: “Previous Assessment Status" is any value other than “First Assessment" or “Not Assessed";THEN: “Current Assessment Status" should be the value of “Previous Assessed";ELSE: the value of “Current Assessment Status" should be “Not Assesed" Hoping someone can help with the structure of the conditional logic. Script is below: let {foundRecordNames, foundRecordDate, linkedRecordID, valStartupID, prevStatus} = input.config()//Set the table to create the records inlet table = base.getTable('TRK: 360° ASSESSMENT')let recordsToCreate = new Array; for (let i = 0; i < foundRecordNames.length; i++){ recordsToCreate.push({ fields:{ "Previous Assessment Status": {name: prevStatus[i]}, "Current As
Airtable is down again. 7:20am Australia time now and it’s been down for over 90 mins, with no status update posted in 70 minutes since the last one saying ‘we’re working on it’. Our business is just at a standstill - I can’t even log in to find any of out client’s data to call them…. I doubt I’m alone. Not having any kind of update for over an hour is unacceptable when businesses need to rely on this service. I get that things go down, i get there are outages - but the communication surrounding such issues from Airtable is abysmal. This kind of outage during business hours costs us thousands of dollars an hour and I can’t help but feel the support/communication during these times needs massive improvement.
I deleted and redownloaded the app, didn’t help.
Hey allI have been losing my mind over the last 5 hours.I have a trigger when a record matches conditions to see if some fields are not empty. Then I have a conditional logic step that checks to see what data is in those fields and then execute if they are true.If it does execute, I find a bunch of records. And then I run a nested Repeat for each using the list from the find records step.In the repeat loop, I am going to create a new record. But...none of the data from teh current item is getting passed into the create records step. The weird thing is the preview shows there is data coming in...but the create record step, or a script step because I tried that too, is just not getting the data from the Current Item. Here is my automationHere you can see the data from the Current Item Here you can see the previewBut then I run the create step and that data is NOT getting to the create step. Manual data goes in like the Date below but trying to pass through the FTE value to the create recor

Airtable web is not working in El Salvador. Does anyone else have this problem too?
Bonjour, je n’arrive pas à ouvrir mes bases Airtable ?! Quelqu’un sais ce qui ce passe ?Merci d’avanceGabirel
Airtable is down for us too in the UK - I have tried logging in from the app, from different browsers, different accounts - all blank screen.Airtable team - please help and respond to let us know what is happening and what you are doing to resolve it - thanks
The functionality to load all records is phenomenally slow - like on the order of 5 minutes in a dataset with 15,000 records. Before the 1000-records-only initial view, the full set of records would load within 30 seconds.
I’m exploring ways to routinely review Airtable bases in an Enterprise environment to identify potential data quality or compliance issues (for example: fields containing restricted terms or sensitive information. Before finalizing our internal approach, I’d like to learn how other teams and industry experts handle this problem at scale.!--scriptorendfragment-->!--scriptorstartfragment-->!--scriptorstartfragment-->
Hello,I have an events table with several events, each taking place on a different date. (Example: Event 1 on January 1st, Event 2 on February 1st, etc.)I would like people to be able to sign up as volunteers for one-hour slots for each of these events. What database structure would you recommend I create?Could I automate this process so that, once an event is created, it populates a new "slot" table by creating x new rows linked to each event, each row representing a different time slot?(Row 1: Event 1 - 9am to 10amRow 2: Event 1 - 10am to 11ametc.)Thank you very much for your help!
I’m making an Airtable project where I want to show prefilled form or prefilled interface page in form layout. I’m able to prefill both but I also want to have some fields to be non-editable. Is that possible in Airtable?
Hi group, Wanted to ask you about how you manage user management. I get a lot of questions from our organisation about “who can add me to Airtable”, and so far it’s just me managing our groups (I’ve made groups based on permission rights and what interfaces they should see).I’ve seen there is an option to assign members of these groups to be the group admins. I’m wondering if it’s worth making one user per team an admin, so they can manage access rights for their area without always going through me.How do you manage this? any good tips?
Hey I just saw this a minute ago. How long as this been out for? This is really really nice. Thanks Airtable!!!!!@ScottWorld where you aware? When sharing this type of things I’m always afraid this has been there for years and never realized lol. Completely different matter, but would love to have you join the March 2026 AT Community led Hackathon! Make sure to sign up!! Mike, Consultant @ Automatic Nation YouTube Channel
Hi everyone! In Airtable Interfaces, is there a way to restrict comment notifications / @mentions so that only Admins can be mentioned (or only Admins receive the notifications)? We want interface users to be able to leave notes, but ensure that @mentions/notifications go only to our Admin team.Any best practices or recommended workaround (permissions vs automations) would be appreciated. Thanks!
I'm working on a project where we use:- Postgres for our production app database - Airtable for our internal team (support, ops) The challenge: keeping them in sync without writing fragile scripts.Curious what others in this situation are doing:1. Are you using Zapier? (I find it too slow)2. Custom scripts with webhooks? (maintenance nightmare for us)3. Some other tool I haven't discovered?4. Did you just pick one and stick with it?We're syncing about 5K records and need changes to propagate in under a minute ideally. Any experiences or recommendations appreciated!
