Where in Airtable do I look to find how many emails have been sent per day? And is it every 24 hours or per actual day?

Hello, I want to front load that I am annoyed and have been frustratingly trying to brute force this for two weeks with no luck. This is meant to be read with a neutral tone of voice.My issue: I operate a small nonprofit and have hit a brick wall trying to get airtable to work for what we need it to do. We have a beautiful form that we created, information populates great, but printing the completed form is impossible. I’ve tried creating it with the design tool, but that doesn’t work at all (it’s broken, we can’t even create something to test it), and we can’t afford to pay yet another company hundreds of dollars to do this for a platform that should have it built in.I’m surprised and rather irritated that this simple thing isn’t included in the pricetag for airtable… I have a staff of 5 and a minuscule budget. Hello there,We have been thinking about how to approach this, but it seems we are unclear about the options or simply don’t see the solution.We are creating a base designed to handle multiple tenants.Tenants must be able to view and edit only the records linked to them. Additionally, we are facing a challenge when linking new records, as it appears that the records must be manually assigned by selecting a collaborator (i.e., current user filtered view).That’s the general overview.Key questions: Beyond linking collaborators to the current user, is it possible to associate users with a group and dynamically use that group to filter views in interfaces? Does the Portals feature provide the functionality we need? Since there is no trial, we cannot validate it ourselves—perhaps someone else has insight into this? I can’t be the only one who finds the edit field dialogue box for single and multiple select fields outrageously small, can I? If we have two or three dozen options, or even more, how are we supposed to manage them when we can only see three or four at a time? Is there an extension or something that helps with this?

Hi all. My first question on the Community forum, so please bear with me. Now that Airtable has added a Find Record action in automations (Yay!), I am wondering if anyone has figured out how to create an action in the event that a record is not found matching the criteria. I have found a need for this automation a few times. To give one example, here is a summary of a scenario: I have two tables - an “All Contacts” table and a “Submitted from Form” table. When someone submits their name, phone, town, state and email address, that info goes into the “Submitted from Form” table. When a record enters the “Submitted from Form” table, I want to search the “All Contacts” table to see if any record has a value in the email field that matches. If there is a matching value, then I want to update the record in “All Contacts” to the current info for the other fields. Hello - I've searched the discussions, but found no resolution to this issue - to display my database addresses on a map, I have to convert the addresses to GPS coordinates, which I've done - now to re-integrate the new columns with the coordinates into the Airtable base, I found the CSV import extension, which would work great... however, the option to merge by Record ID is not available, and I have no other way to merge them. We have branches of organizations with the same name multiple times - how can I get the same functionality but matching by Record ID?

Hello, my airtable is used within data within a project management platform I built in sotfr. my client portal users enter data via a softr modal which lands into the airtable and a softr table view that displays the entered data. I need each entries of by user to be auto-numbered from 1 to whatever the final entry is.For example if the data represented a christmas wishlist, and little bobby entered a “toy truck”, “building blocks”, and “book”, I need the list to show:toy truck Building blocks bookAnd if little tommy entered “Basketball”, “ipod”, and “ball cap” the list should be basketball ipod ballcapThe number needs to be hard coded to the entry, so that when the list is sorted differently the number follows along, for example, if I sort little tommy’s list within the softr presentation layer alphabetically the list should be:3. Hi guys, I’m trying to find a way to insert a formula that calculates the expiration date of leases based on the commencement date and the number of months that the contract is for. So far, I have this: DATEADD({Commencement}, {Term (mos)}, ‘months’) This calculates the expiration date almost perfectly, but I need to find a way to take one day off of the formula. A 12 month lease starting on 03/01/21 would return 03/01/22, but the expiration would actually be the last day of February, not the first day of March, if that makes sense. How can I get the formula to subtract one day from the result? Thank you!

Hey. I'm new to Airtable because the person previously in charge left suddenly. I think my question is regarding Historical Viewing in Airtable. In an Interface, is it possible to look back further than 30 days ago? I am able to look ahead 10 months but can only look back 30 days. Is there a simple way to do this, or do we need to upgrade our plan to unlock this feature? Thanks.

I am using Airtable with a new nonprofit. One of my bases is all about the Volunteers. I have successfully set up the tables to track contact info, training completed, hour tracking and more. I was even able to figure out how to set up a form for the Volunteers to fill out using a wall mounted iPad to do the data entry themselves for their hours worked. On that form, they are able to choose their name from the existing list because I have linked it to the main table. It works perfectly and allows me to create reports to track hours by person, role, date, etc. But then my boss asked that we have a photo for each Volunteer attached to their information in AirTable. OK. I can do that with an attachment field. But then I decided that I wanted the Volunteers to do that data entry as well. I’ve created an automation that uses the Google Docs integration to create a report. Records found by the automation are added to the GDoc in grid format. Unfortunately, each grid tops out at 10 records in the GDoc, even though the Find records actions have a limit of 100 records. Any ideas?

Is it possible to make a form that requires authentification in order to make sure that “Created by” is populated when the form is submitted?

I have a table with a list of articles that need to be written. The fields on the table are; article id, article progress status, author, drive link, Article title, Guidelines and deadline. I have created a sharable view with which my writers can see which articles they are assigned to and the necessary details without signing in. I collect the articles via a form where they submit the drive URL and the article id with a status (writing done) Problem is, when they submit the article it always creates a new record and I have to manually transfer the URL and change the status to the original record and delete the row that has been created by the form. Is there a way, to make it possible that the writers can submit the URL to the original record and change the status? without signing in.

I am using Airtable for volunteer sign up for an event and wondering if somehow I can add the liability release form electronically. Has anyone done this before within forms? We need a signature and what not so I don’t know if there’s a way to add an attachment they can type in and then that would save on my end. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi everyone, I’m new to using Script in airtable and was using ChatGPT to help me write my script. Basically, I want the script to read my table (titel is Workshop registration) and when people register, they can click on as many workshops as they want. The script was to then separate the 1 registration into multiple, and it worked! However, I changed one of the columns from single to multi-select and it messed everything up, including the set up. It also just started to bug out a lot. Do you guys know what I could do? I’m not a coder at all and was primarily using ChatGPT to help me write it.

However, I don’t have any programming experience whatsoever.The script is used as one of the steps in my Airtable automation. Hi, I would like to create a fitness tracker for our climbing team. I periodically test our athletes (ie, vertical jump, shoulder strength, etc). I would like to track each athlete’s test scores/numbers, enter that information into airtable and have the ability to track each athlete’s improvement for each fitness test. One test is the vertical jump. I will need to test their standing reach and then standing jump. Ideally, I want to enter standing reach every so often (not every test) since the kids don’t grow that quickly. But I want to update standing jump every time we test. How do I enter standing reach into airtable and be able to retrieve that for future tests? I would like future tests to record standing jump but then reference standing reach in order to calculate vertical jump (ie, standing jump less standing reach). Thoughts?

I want to create a table in my send email automation because there are several features that I want to put in the email and formatting as a table makes it easy to understand. I tried creating a table using markdown and HTML but it isn't working.  

I’m using the pyairtable python package, and I’m looking for a way to delete columns in a table and reorder columns based on how they are named (e.g. if the columns are dates, I want the most recent date to be the left most column). Not sure if there is a way to do this using python, but I’m hoping I wont have to do this manually. Thanks in advance!

What’s the best way to create an automation with Airtable + Make/Zapier + ChatGPT + AI image generator (Midjourney, Leonardo AI, etc.)?  For example, enter a basic prompt in an Airtable base. Then, via Make it sends the prompt to ChatGPT, in which ChatGPT assesses the prompt and rewrites/improves it. The automation can stop there or go even further by then sending ChatGPT’s improved prompt and sending it to an AI image generator to instantly create that image?
