Hi,I’m trying to create a field that tells you when the next due date of your credit card payments are, based on what their monthly due date is (e.g. 5th of every month) and today’s date. I know I’m creating a string that looks like a date and not a date itself, which isn’t a problem for me.My issue is that the comparison I’m using to check if the Payment Due Date is before today, a simple comparison of values really, is returning one wrong result! I created extra formula fields to see where things went wrong, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what the issue is! Basically, when I compare the number in Today against the Payment Due Date, with this formula: IF(DATETIME_FORMAT(TODAY(), "DD") > {Payment Due Date}, "yes", "no")  I get an incorrect result (Payment Due Date 5 returns “no” when it should be “yes,” because 22>5). I don’t get it. Does anyone know what’s going on? Thanks a lot! 

Dear all, I do have a base with several tables in it of which HCO’s and HCP’s are two.  HCO’s are Hospitals where HCP’s (doctors) are employed.  I would like to be able to select and/or display hospitals based on whether or not certain HCP’s are available in a hospital (e.g. : display hospitals which do employ orthopaedic surgeons but do not have ophthalmologists available.Tried Airtable support, which came up with scripting.  Please feel challenged to propose  a non (or very, very, low) code solution for this! Thanks so much,MichielThe Netherlands

Hello all, I searched a lot about my problem, I found half answer only …. It’s a common problem I found several times on this forum but no real solution (I think) I have 2 tables.The table 1 create a line in the table 2 with automation. They have the same name project, no problem for that. I have several lines which are different projects.then on the table 2 I update a cell to “ok” on a random project and I need that a cell in table 1 automaticaly switch to “ok”. on the same project line.My problem is that the “ok” from the table 2 update the first line only of the table 1 😓 How can I manage to update for exemple the project 3 cell to “ok” from table 2 to table 1 ? thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone! I have an automation that is set to find records in a certain view and send them an email. I know when in testing Airtable will only show the first 10 records, but it is also completing the automation for the first 10 records as well and right now that view has about 18 records in it. Any advice on whats going on with it? 

Yeah, we can turn a single-select status-like field into kanban view workflows for teams. Got it.But how to add more info for each of these kanban workflow steps? To document the workflow, to give team member easy access to "what should I do at this step?" Links to related assets, templates, full docs, Loom videos etc?Yeah, you can do a 2 table approach, where you have a more robust "Steps" table instead of a single-select "status" type field. But then you lose the ability to have a "steps as kanban columns" view.How do you all build card-moving kanban views that also act as helpful process deocumentation for each of those steps?thanks!

Hi!I used to embed a regular gallery view in my WordPress web site but I did not like how the title of each card (primary field) where always cut off. I tried creating an interface design of the same gallery, embed it, and I really liked the result. Titles were visualized in its complete form and the whole thing looked better and cleaner.The thing is that for some reason, the mobile version of the embed gallery interface came out grayed with a message saying "viewport too small to display the gallery element". I checked out the embed code and it was basically the same for both for the regular gallery view and the gallery interface. Nontheless, the regular gallery view showed in the mobile version of the website and the gallery interface not. If anyone has an idea or suggestion on what is causing this and how to solve it I'd appreaciate it.  The iFrame code:<iframe class="airtable-embed" src="https://airtable.com/embed/appPRfMipHQg

Not sure if this is possible as I just started using Airtable. I created a formula for contracts based on Start Dates and Contract Term that will give me an Automatic Original End Date. Then I have another Field for Bonus weeks which will give me a “Final End Date” I am looking for a way to make the Final End Date field a Date/Time instead of a Formula field so that I can sort and group a certain way from a Date. Is this possible?

What is the best way to show subtasks in the timeline view?I use Airtable to manage projects. Currently they don’t show any kind of relationship and often end up moving across the page because of the default time sort. Ideally they’d group together from the parent. All of the tasks are in one table, labelled either task or subtask, and the subtasks are in a connected to the parent in a linked field.

I have a single select field in an interface that allows users to enter new values if what they need isn’t already on the list.  This will grow over time and it would be a lot more useful if it was in alphabetical order, but I don’t want to have to go into the field properties every day and click the alphabetize button.  Is there any way to automate this?

Hey guys,I have someone on my team getting a weird issue when trying to open a record detail in an interface. It's a timeline view interface where users can click into the record to view fields including a linked field to the project that when click opens a record detail of the whole project. The issue we are having is that when a person tries to open the project record detail they get the error "This record was hidden. The record might have been edited or your access might have changed."   They have full editor permission on the interface page and I can't find any other filters on the record detail page that might be causing this issue. I am also unable to replicate this bug on my end even when viewing as the user. Has anyone run into this bug before? Does anyone know why my user is unable to open the proj

Hi, I’m part of a small growing business. We are looking for inventory database options as we begin to expand. I was curious if any other food-related businesses use Airtable for their inventory tracking? If so, how’s it going? Do you believe Airtable will be a good option as your company expands and grows?

It would be great if we could, in my case, get the elements smaller than what’s possible today. Eg, the “number” element: I can only get 4 in a row and it takes to much space in their smallest form. Being able to use the full width of the page (like eg you can do with a “gridd” element) and being able to get it smaller, would maybe result in a row of 10 (?) “number” elements. User case: displaying an interface on a tv screen in clients workplace.

I'm setting up an automation, which takes fields from a google forms response sheet and adds them to airtable as  single select fields. So far I have the form and the airtable with the single select fields.  The issue: afaik when setting up the automated import (new line in form response sheet --> new record in AT), I have to click into each field I want to import and match it with the right column in the response sheet. Is there any way to automate this?

I can't move left or right within the rows using the keyboard arrow keys in the "interface". I've been experiencing this issue since yesterday. Also, I'm unable to copy the data within the rows using Ctrl+C.

We have three bases in Airtable, two of which are experiencing issues. The first base works as expected, allowing users to tab between cells, use arrow keys to navigate within cells, and copy-paste data smoothly. However, the second and third bases both have significant problems. In the second base, users can only copy or edit cells by double-clicking into them, and when tabbing, it only interacts with elements outside of Airtable in the browser—arrow keys also don't work. The third base is even more problematic, where none of the usual keyboard navigation features work. Tabbing and using the arrow keys have no effect, and users are stuck on the originally selected cell, unable to move or interact with other cells at all. No recent changes have been made.

I have a multiple select field called “Weaknesses” in which a client can select different areas they’re struggling in with the language they’re learning. I’d love a formula that takes their responses and transform it to 1 word weaknesses and puts them together in a grammatically correct sentence. So... If they say “I can't stick to goals”, then I want the return to be “Goals” in the formula field. If they say "I can't stick to goals" and "I'm not great at speaking" it should return "Goals and Speaking." If they say "I can't stick to goals", "My habits and routines could be better", and "I'm not great at speaking" it should return "Goals, Habits and Speaking."What I can get it to return is a response of “Goals, Habits, Speaking,”I’m starting to think that’s not possible, and just want to see if maybe I’m wrong. Here’s what I have for a formula currently. REGEX_REPLACE( REGEX_REPLACE(

I would like to resubmit a  two year old feature request that would greatly simplify everyday work with Airtable:Proposed Feature:Allow users to temporarily enable or disable conditions in filters, groupings, and sorts, without having to delete and recreate them.What problem does this solve?Currently, a user must delete a condition to disable it and then manually recreate it later. This process is time-consuming, error-prone, and unnecessarily complicated.How would this feature help?A simple toggle on/off option would let users quickly test different views or check data without losing their existing settings. This would significantly improve flexibility and efficiency.Who would benefit?Every user who works with complex views and wants to switch between different setting

Hi,I am reading this article by Airtable https://blog.airtable.com/interface-designer-permissions/ and where it talks about the use case for building a HR base so managers can see their team, people can see their own records etc. I don't know how to make this work in Airtable. Does anyone have any experience of doing this. I am on pro plan."For example, let’s say your HR department wants to create an app for performance reviews and calibrations. Only managers should be able to access their team’s reviews, while individual employees will still need access to their own review.  Instead of creating multiple bases, share views, or interfaces, you can create a single interface with a few filters." 

Hi there, I’m just wondering if anyone has tested the new Sandbox beta yet? This looks like something that would be really beneficial to us, but having never used anything like it I’m interested to hear other people’s experiences before enabling it. An example of something I’m not sure about is that I will sometimes have to make bulk changes to data when making field changes (eg splitting or consolidating fields), which may still be getting edited in Production while I’m making the changes in Sandbox. Does Airtable do anything to manage this? Looking forward to hearing your experiences. Thanks,Josh

Hi Everyone,Hope you can help me out please.I have a table with a client session log adding a new record for each client when they have another session:  I would like to be able to show how many sessions each client has had (eg the maximum number of sessions).
