Now that Airtable has deprecated static URLs for image attachments (or at least will some time in March or whatever), server side generated apps that use Airtable as a CMS backend can't use Airtable for image hosting anymore. Instead, combination solutions such as hosting images on aws s3 and putting image URLs in Airtable is necessary. This is because the URL provided by Airtable for an image attachment "expires" after a few hours, and a sever side generated app is "hardcoded" with the expired URL.I have a client that's not interested in two part solutions like this, and wants their CMS backend in one place. Is there a paid feature to switch back on static image attachment URLs permanently? This was a really easy, user-friendly way (especially for non devs) to have a CMS backend. If not, I'll need to investigate another CMS backend solution for my client.
Hello! I am trying to create a PDF-generating script using Scripting extension. When I run a script, I get an error message, "Can't set cell values: Field 'XXXX' is computed and cannot be set." Any idea how I can fix it?

Hello the Community !I received a message informing me that I needed to upgrade my Airtable access. I assumed this was because I had reached one year of usage, so I proceeded with the payment of the requested USD 240.However, after logging into my account, all my databases disappeared. I can no longer access any of my bases, and I would like to know how I can recover them or regain access.Last year, I paid for Airtable with my personal email/account, and this year I made the payment using my professional email/account. In the United States, an invoice is very different from what the government of Mexico asks for. If the invoice issued in Mexico by Airtable does not have the requirements that that government (SAT) asks for, the expenses in Airtable are not deductible and therefore are much more expensive for all that business that is paying taxes and that is operating within of the law. How can I get an invoice from Airtable with the requirements of the Mexico SAT so that I can deduct the costs of my ads? Invoices issued by Airtable do not meet these requirements. For example, the document must have the RFC (TAX ID) of the issuer and also the RFC of the recipient, and the folio.
Why do milestones created in my “Critical Path” interface (Program Plan table) with linked Workstream and Function Area field not show up in my “Plans by Function Area” interface (Plans by Function Area table), even though milestones created from the Plans interface do show in Critical Path – and how can I make additions from both interfaces appear in each other?
Currently using Airtable to store all my Training Recordings for teams. I have a interface built out for these training but when it shows up blank in the interface because there is no thumbnail/preview in the data side. I can click onto the recording which will play the video but there’s no thumbnail. Am I able to customize a thumbnail image or add a picture?
Hi folks,In Chrome and other Chromium based browsers there seems to be a print to PDF bug. When my users attempt to print an interface the print dialogue pops up as attempting to print 20k+ pages of records when the reality is that it should be somewhere between 7-10 pages only. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Hey everyoneBeen looking at the new Proofing tools that had been added a few months back. Its a decent start and I have been considering this as part of our workflows.We typically work with a number of partners that submit updated images to us for review. The idea is we have a task with an image field that is formatted for Versioning.When our partner has a new version of the image that they can submit that into the image field so the internal team can review and give feedback. This seems a little backwards for how the workflow was designed. I think the intent was that the partner would create this in their AirTable, we would be commentors on the images and they would update the images. Is that correct? Thats not great for us since we have dozens of partners and need to have those assets flowing into us to centralize the review process.To make this work for us, I would need to have an Editor license for each partner that would be submitting image versions. Hi! I am using Airtable to create an inventory of items in a museum of education related items. The vast majority of the items in our collection only have a year attributed to the item (i.e. class of '89, picture taken 1976, Spring 1935, etc). I am wanting to create a timeline view to show a history of certain schools, subjects, and other grouping criteria. Is there a way to have just a year (YYYY) be read as a date for timeline and gantt purposes?
I just asked ChatGPT for a list of all the selectable Records to get assistance picking one that was applicable for my use and was unable to locate one. I just took a bunch of screenshots and had it convert the images to text but wanted to make sure that I could put it somewhere others would also benefit from it. This might be a bit difficult, because it involves both Typeform and Zapier as well as Airtable. I’m having two issues but both are overlapping. In my Typeform I have some questions that are multiple choice with the option for multiple or single select. One of the questions asks about which states the person is involved with and has them all listed out. One person might just choose one state and the next might choose five. When I plug this data into Zapier, it comes across as one lump instead of individual selections so it doesn’t match up with the multiple select field in Airtable unless the person just selects one. Does anyone know how to fix this? In my Typeform, I have a question similar to the one above that lets the person choose what field they are in. Some people select only one, but several select more than one. This works with a linked field in Airtable. The issue I’m having is similar to the one above, if a person selects 2 it creates a new field with those two as one item
Hey I’m using zapier to link my typeform to an airtable, which is all working fine apart from the multi-select type form (choose 1-3 options). It is not linking to airtable’s multi-select field type correctly. Attached is what I’m getting - all inputs are in one entry instead of separate. I’ve even manually added all of the input options in the field on airtable. The workaround would be to use 3 separate single entry questions in typeform but this is not very user friendly and would mean separate fields which also doesn’t help when comparing data. Please help! interested if anyone has managed to do this or have i reached airtable’s limits? How it is How it should look
I’m integrating Typeform with AirTable and all is working great with most fields but not with single-select and multiple-select fields. Documentation states these AirTable fields map to Typeform fields that are Multiple Select, which is what I used. When mapping these fields in my block, I can enable my AirTable select field but the equivalent fields in Typeform are greyed out so cannot be selected. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As my company’s Enteprise Admin, the Admin Panel Sync feature has been incredibly helpful for system maintenance audits.However, it would be even better if the workspace and base descriptions were available fields in the Admin Panel Sync. I could use it to have AI scan the descriptions and summarize all the work being done across the company, identify any duplicate efforts, and find opportunities to streamline workflows across teams. For large companies, this would be best/easiest way to govern Airtable usage effectively.
It seems so weird that Airtable doesn't have text color options in the long text field, even when rich text is enabled.Is there any plan to add this feature in the future? My team heavily uses colors in text fields in spreadsheets and in Notion and while trying to migrating fully to AT, this is a big turn down

I am hoping to use Airtable Forms to manage applications for a grant, but I am running into issues in finding the best way to export the results so I can review each application/record individually. Clearly exporting to .csv is not the best way to do this. Further, the grant requires an attachment upload. For a simpler grant, I used page designer to print to PDF each record, and pulled in the required fields in order to evaluate. The application data takes up one page, so I just print the pages I need. This is becoming harder as more applications are received, however, because the print options are only “print current record” or “print records in a specific view” (i.e. my entire grid/all results). What I need is to only export/print certain records that have not been reviewed yet. For the more complicated grant, I want to export each record including the attachment. Not export the entire grid to CSV then download each attachment. Is this going to be possible? Each application requires

Hello! This week my colleagues and I noticed that the format of our email notifications from Airtable has changed. We used to received email notifications saying the person's name "via Airtable." Now it appears as their email address. The new format makes it just a little harder to keep track of who is sending us notifications. We'd like to revert back to the old display with the name but can't figure out how or why it changed. Any ideas? Thanks!
