Hi,I was wondering if it is possible to create an automation that uses Airtable's own notification system. We use the interfaces for working all the time and it would be nice if we could get a notification if a certain cell reaches the date of today.

I have a database for our retail stores. The main table's first column is a formula that combines the store's name and the store's number with a " – " in between. For example, "1234 – Joe's Discount Hardware".I need to import data from a report that only has store numbers. I know could use the CSV Import extension by setting it to merge with existing records and set the merge field to the store's number.However, where I really need it imported is into another table in this base. This is where my roadblock is: Since the linked store identifiers are "1234 – Joe's Discount Hardware" but the report's identifiers are "1234", is there a way for me to link them?I did try bringing in a lookup field that show's the linked store's store number. But it can't use the lookup field as an identifier. Then I thought I'd found an answer by making the table's first column be =storeNumber. This is a question that has been asked a few years ago but not sure if this has been revisited recently.I am using Airtable interfaces. I am on top level plan and prepared to pay to remove the Airtable branding. There is a simple reason why.Our portal goes out to our key stakeholders and partners. As soon as they see the Airtable logo they start to try and work out how we build the platform, then instead of seeing the great outcomes that we are delivering, they start to try and build their own or they deconstruct the environment. It is very disheartening when you have spent a month making a great interface, and the first and last thing the partner mentions is "Oh thats Airtable, can you show me how you did that I need to do that for that thing that I was going to get you to do for me . . . . . so I will now go try to make it myself, I mean, it's just Airtable"The solution shouldnt be to go use Softr/Noloco etc and  money for a front end tool, just to remove a logo. Anyon

I have a single select drop down field, and use an automation to copy that dropdown field into a linked record field anytime it is updated (see below). I have the system to clients can use the dropdown in forms, but I use the linked record in the backend for my own uses.There are actually two of these, one for Federal and one for State electorates. Each have their own single dropdown field, that automates over to their own linked record field. Both linked records link to the same table, but obviously different columns.However, in the table where the linked records resides that are multiple cases of records with the same name. For instance, there is a Federal electorate called Adelaide AND a state electorate called Adelaide. Each record has a number of other fields (such as state, level of government, etc) and I use the Group function, so that it's clear and easy to not get confused between the identical names.My problem is my automations (from above) cannot tell them apart. Hi,I am running network managing research participants for my organization. They have two options for signing up, which are in separate tables. One is the 'Full Sign Up', which is in my main participant table, where I am linking other information not related to the form. The other is a 'Sign Up Later' form, used when recruiting partipants who don't have time for the full form (fx in person at a conference). They sign up with their name and email and I have created an automation to send out a link with full form. I'd like to create an automation that sends out a reminder email those who have completed the 'Sign Up Later' form, but not completed the 'Full Sign Up' form, to do so. This means I need an automation that removes those who have completed the 'Full Sign Up' form, from the 'Sign Up Later' table, but I am unsure how to do that, since the tables are not linked.  Any help is appreciated 🙂

Hello AirTable Community!Hoping someone can help me with a solution here.  I have a conditional form that depending on the department you choose, you get different prompts - most of this works great.  Here's the problem:I have a Lookup field that provides instructions by the department that I would like to appear once someone selects the specific department.  i.e.: Person selects Finance request time - they get a block of text that talks about what finance needs and SLAs.I have tried doing this via a Lookup Field (apparently, you cannot use those in forms), and then I tried a really long formula, but I cannot use formulas in forms either.Looking for a native solution, not a 3rd party plug in because we would not be able to clear that with our IT team.

Hi All,somehow one of my forms, accessed through a QR is asking for an email address to access it.all the other ones aren't, but this is. It has been working ok for at least a year.has someone changed the settings, if so how do I fix? thanks 

I have a base with a field "Company" that is a linked record.Ultimately, I want to pre-fill my form with all values inc Company.First, how can one pre-fill a Linked record field? Seems like it isn't possible.Second, even if it is possible, how can I allow the creation of a new such Linked record from the form?

Hi, I have a field that references the customer table. When I work in grid mode, it gives me the opportunity to add a new record in this field, however if I create a form and enter this field does not give me the option to add records.How can I enable this option to add records in a link to another record field in a form?Many thanks for your help 

I've created a task list. When 'Done" is clicked, the "Date Completed" is updated and the "Next Due" is updated based on a formula dependent on the 'Freq'. All this works fine.I then have an automation that runs to create a new record with a 'Due' date populated with the previous records 'Next Due'The automation runs fine except in the evenings where it adds a day? During the day it is fine. You an see in the attached, "IG New Messages" was clicked 'Done" on 1/10, 'Date Completed' was 1/10, 'Next Due' was 1/11 but then the automation changed the new records 'Due' to 1/12It is like there is a time zone issue somewhere but I can't figure it out so any help is greatly appreciated.

Frankly don't know where to start, and my mind is whirling with the results in the community, so let me describe what I'm going for.I've created a form that allows my community to report data in four areas for a health challenge: calories consumed, exercise calories, water consumption, and sleep hours. There's also the date and the person's name in the table.What I want my community to see is a summary of each of the four areas for the current month. I'll embed the view on a web page. Rollups, aggregations, linked records — I'm starting from square one in using Airtable and haven't figured out which and how to make this work. 'Lil help? Thanks!

Hello, On an airtable registration form that has a required field for DOB, some users have made error on their years of birth (for example 2023 instead of 2003) . Then they submit it and it fills the table with wrong data without them being aware of it. Is there a way that I can set the minimum date of birth to 01/01/2007 for example, so that the forms can alert the user that the date is incorrect at the time of form submission ? If not, which other way is possible ?

First time posting so I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right Location 🙇🏻‍♀️So I've gotten different kinds of work where I use Airtable as my main tool for project management, client portals, order/inventory tracking, ticketing, etc. And I'm looking to showcase the kinds of work I do with the platform to future potential clients!I was wondering how everyone else presents their old work (the non-NDA ones at least!) to clients? I'm not sure how to go about building my "portfolio" per se even though I've built some good stuff the past few years (thanks to the community too I've been lurking here for a long time haha!)It's kinda hard to convince potential clients that I've "been doing this for years" without having a ready portfolio of sorts to show for it other than some relatively safe screenshots (data privacy and all)Thanks in advance for any leads or advice! 💕

Is there anyway to hide certain tables from certain collaborators? I’m using Airtable for my business and want to link financials to projects. I have employees who I want to update records on my projects but not have access to financial information or client information. Is there anyway to do that? If not, I cannot continue using Airtable in my business…

Over the course of a project we will be conducting a series of feedback surveys, each with the same questions, but after different events. I plan on storing responses to each survey in its own table within a base. Is there a way to duplicate the form to different tables? I will need to do some minor updates (e.g., changing the introductory text), but the questions would be the same.

Hello,I have created a check Request form in my system.  For some of our transactions we will deal with multiple transactions but I only want to have one button.  I have created multiple fields (Fee #1, Fee #2, Fee #3, Fee #4, Fee #5). I am trying to create a nested if Statement (or open to other options) to fill the check Request field with the newest fee.  For example If Fee 5 is empty but Fee 4 is not then I want Fee 4 populated in the field.  If Fee 5, 4, and 3 are empty then I want Fee 2 to populate in the field.  And so on.  Appreciate any direction. So far I created a nested if Statement but it only works for the first field then no longer works.

Hey Community!!Not a real actual current use case, but thought I'd spice-up the community a bit to kick-off the year! I can think of different workarounds for the following edge case, all of which could theoretically work (although not ideal) however I'd love to get to know your thoughts for it as the same logic and issue applies for other use cases.E.g. think of music concert tickets with initial stock of two (2) tickets.If Buyer A, Buyer B, and Buyer C all open the form at the same time (or before any submission occurs), they will all see availability of 2 tickets.Even if Buyer A purchases 1 ticket, available tickets shown on Buyer B and Buyer C's screen will still show 2 (unless they refresh the form and therefore retrieve new updated data from Airtable).This will not be an issue if Buyer B purchases 1 ticket immediately after -as there is still one ticket left.However, by the time Buyer C wants to make the purchase, the form still shows 2 tickets are available, however there is act

Greetings, Airtable community!I wanted to reach out to ask for your ideas and assistance with a road block I ran into:I have a Fillout "SignUp" Form that allows clients to schedule themselves for an appointment at the specific appointment time they choose. I've successfully customized Fillout form to show ONLY "unfilled" appointments (based on an Airtable view) when the client loads the form.The problem is that if 3 people load the form at the same time, then they can all 3 "Sign Up" for the exact same appointment. Since they all loaded the form at the same time they have the same options given from Airtable. And since the form doesn't update in "real time" unless they refresh the page, then there's no way to keep them from all 3 selecting the same Appointment time.On the back end, this means I received 3 SignUps for the same appointment and a "Something Went Wrong..." email from Airtable. I have a table with an Attachment field holding a PowerPoint  PPTX file.Is there any way (in an Interface or another) I can Drag and drop that file into another (Windows) application? Just adding the file to an Interface doesn't seem to allow drag and drop.Specifically, I need to drag the file into Canva - Create a Design (Upload). Thanks!

Does anybody know or has script you put in extensions and automatically shows post and comment karma on airtable. You need reddit api and airatble api. And a script that i dont know how to write. I would appreciate every help

I use Airtable for something related to website data. I have a table which is a list of pages/URLs from a website, which was extracted from Google Analytics. The key is the URL/page but it also contains data such as the volume of page views and other statistics about the page. In an ideal world I want this table to update automatically, so e.g. the data is always about the most recent month. I know there is a zapier integration but I can’t get my head around it, mainly because what happens if someone creates a new page in the source data i.e I am not just updating records based on changes to the data in Sheets, I need to also populate new records. Is this multiple Zapier integrations??

Okay I think this might be a tricky one but let me know if you have any answers. Here's the basic concept. I'm producing a summer concert series and I want to create a budget and expense tracker. I want have a couple things I'm trying to accomplish.First, I want to be able to create a budget and allocate an amount of the budget to a certain category (labor, rentals, food, etc.).Next, I want to be able to track how much we are spending on each of those categories for each show. (Show 1: $1,000 on labor, $5,000 on rentals, $150 on food, etc.)Then, I want to link those together. For example, I want the show totals for each major category to then update the overall season long budget (the first item). Ideally, there is an interface with three pages. One is the Overview dashboard which shows the total budget, total spend, and remaining total budget. It would also show each individual category with total budget, spend & remaining. The second page would be a page to edit the cat
