Hi All, I am trying to create a button that one clicked will launch a web page that uses an internal url (or external) as the prefix with a cell value as the suffix. For Example: https://trsau.reecenet.org/pos/other-stock-on-hand/products/12345 The first part (https://trsau.reecenet.org/pos/other-stock-on-hand/products/) will be common in the formula with (12345) being the part that changes. To achieve this i have been try to us the following formula: The issue is that once pressed the i get the following error in the address bar.

First post, so I am sorry if this is not clear as to what I am trying to do.  My goal is to have a formula in a field determine if 3 different fields are either blank or not blank.  Depending on whether they are blank or not return a message to that formula field outlining what is missing and required.   See picture below.  I have tried to nest IF functions using blank or not blank, but I keep getting errors.  I have also tried to use the AND and OR functions in combination with the IF function with no luck.   A formula would work best for us.   Any ideas would be greatly appreciatedthanks Bob

Check spoiler tag for completely detailed explanation of my situation, just in case you can spy a base design issue that could easily be fixed: I have a table called "Products" and a table called "Definitions". I'm linking each product in my products table to the definitions table. The record in definitions is the classification/type of product, i.e., a wall mounted faucet. In the Definitions table there are internal instructions that our staff need to check off using rich text format before the product is considered ready. It would be instructions like "Wall mounted faucet is not located on an exterior wall".I'm using a Lookup in my Products table to retrieve these instructions and attach it to products based on the definition. Unfortunately when I use a lookup to retrieve these internal instructions field in the Products table, it loses all rich text format. Very new to Airtable and having some fun with formulas.I have project records with a simple status field (Planned, In Progress, Completed) and some basic date fields.I created a formula that checks if the project is "On time" or "Overdue" based on the completed (planned or actually completed) date field vs today.I don't need this formula to calculate on Completed projects so i'm looking for a formula that sets the field to blank if status is Completed, but calculates if Planned or In Progress.Current checking formula:IF({Completed Date} < NOW(), "Overdue", IF(IS_SAME({Completed Date}, TODAY(), 'day'), "At Risk", "On Time"))

I couldn’t find any updated information about this topic on the community forum.Currently, I am developing some email automation workflows, and I am aware that occasional failures may happen due to unexpected errors.I would like to create a solution to recover the failed runs, but from what I’ve observed, I can only view the execution history by accessing the web page directly.I searched the documentation for any reference to an API or endpoint that allows retrieving the automation run history so I can filter and manage it according to my needs, but I couldn’t find any relevant information.

Hi Good Airtablers:We upgraded to Enterprise in part for the Salesforce and Jira integration, but it seems that all synced bases are read-only. Is there a setting that can enable changes in Airtable to be upserted into Salesforce?I feel like this feature was there when our AE demo-ed it to us.Can anyone from Airtable show me how to edit from Airtable into Salesforce? And what the current limitations are.

Hi there,It seems a simple thing but I can’t figure out what is wrong…I have sales table and another table for totals by category , I try to make an automation to update the total sum with the new sale I tried to use find records but it returns a list and no matter what I do it tells me I’m giving wrong inputs…if someone can help please 🙏 

Imagine that we create two records in a table:1. The first is created through a form submission, so many of its fields are filled in at (or near) the instant that the record is created.2. The second is created by using the "+" button on a grid view. The record itself is created, then fields are populated as the user fills them in.Is there a term/pair of terms used to describe the "completeness" of a record upon creation? As in, the record created in scenario 1 is said to be **insert word here**, while the record created in scenario 2 is **insert other word here**.I often find myself asking other users how records are created in their bases in order to determine what types of automations are appropriate (ie. The "When a record is created" trigger can only be relied upon when you know that the necessary fields are populated on the record's creation). What word or phrasing is usually used for this?I'm ideally looking for the academic term but I'd love to hear anything that everyone else u

I have a list to show the previous month orders and would like to total the number and currency fields. I do not see any way to show totals in a list on an Interface dashboard. Is this possible? 

Hey Airtable community! I'm new to Airtable and still learning all the ins and outs. I'd like to create a grid view (for my leadership) that pulls from multiple grids across different bases. Hi folks,I've got employees that submit their timecard for every Friday of the year, so roughly 52 records for each employee all with the same date interval between them (1/3/25, 1/10/25, etc.). Many employees forget to submit a timecard for several weeks out of the year, so I would like to create a view/interface where each employee can see the weeks for which they forgot. I imagine it would be something where AT would compare the weeks/dates they should have inputted versus what they actually did input, but only displaying the difference between them, i.e. the missing dates. Is this doable in AT?Many thanks in advance.

It would be nice to use a windows tablet to input records but the scroll bars appear to be locked in position, has anyone had this problem and is there a fix or a setting to alter, tablet is a Lenovo yoga 2 running Windows 10, Regards Andrew

Hi,I was wondering if it is possible to create an automation that uses Airtable's own notification system. We use the interfaces for working all the time and it would be nice if we could get a notification if a certain cell reaches the date of today.

I have a database for our retail stores. The main table's first column is a formula that combines the store's name and the store's number with a " – " in between. For example, "1234 – Joe's Discount Hardware".I need to import data from a report that only has store numbers. I know could use the CSV Import extension by setting it to merge with existing records and set the merge field to the store's number.However, where I really need it imported is into another table in this base. This is where my roadblock is: Since the linked store identifiers are "1234 – Joe's Discount Hardware" but the report's identifiers are "1234", is there a way for me to link them?I did try bringing in a lookup field that show's the linked store's store number. But it can't use the lookup field as an identifier. Then I thought I'd found an answer by making the table's first column be =storeNumber. This is a question that has been asked a few years ago but not sure if this has been revisited recently.I am using Airtable interfaces. I am on top level plan and prepared to pay to remove the Airtable branding. There is a simple reason why.Our portal goes out to our key stakeholders and partners. As soon as they see the Airtable logo they start to try and work out how we build the platform, then instead of seeing the great outcomes that we are delivering, they start to try and build their own or they deconstruct the environment. It is very disheartening when you have spent a month making a great interface, and the first and last thing the partner mentions is "Oh thats Airtable, can you show me how you did that I need to do that for that thing that I was going to get you to do for me . . . . . so I will now go try to make it myself, I mean, it's just Airtable"The solution shouldnt be to go use Softr/Noloco etc and  money for a front end tool, just to remove a logo. Anyon

I have a single select drop down field, and use an automation to copy that dropdown field into a linked record field anytime it is updated (see below). I have the system to clients can use the dropdown in forms, but I use the linked record in the backend for my own uses.There are actually two of these, one for Federal and one for State electorates. Each have their own single dropdown field, that automates over to their own linked record field. Both linked records link to the same table, but obviously different columns.However, in the table where the linked records resides that are multiple cases of records with the same name. For instance, there is a Federal electorate called Adelaide AND a state electorate called Adelaide. Each record has a number of other fields (such as state, level of government, etc) and I use the Group function, so that it's clear and easy to not get confused between the identical names.My problem is my automations (from above) cannot tell them apart. Frustrating

Hi,I am running network managing research participants for my organization. They have two options for signing up, which are in separate tables. One is the 'Full Sign Up', which is in my main participant table, where I am linking other information not related to the form. The other is a 'Sign Up Later' form, used when recruiting partipants who don't have time for the full form (fx in person at a conference). They sign up with their name and email and I have created an automation to send out a link with full form. I'd like to create an automation that sends out a reminder email those who have completed the 'Sign Up Later' form, but not completed the 'Full Sign Up' form, to do so. This means I need an automation that removes those who have completed the 'Full Sign Up' form, from the 'Sign Up Later' table, but I am unsure how to do that, since the tables are not linked.  Any help is appreciated 🙂

Hello AirTable Community!Hoping someone can help me with a solution here.  I have a conditional form that depending on the department you choose, you get different prompts - most of this works great.  Here's the problem:I have a Lookup field that provides instructions by the department that I would like to appear once someone selects the specific department.  i.e.: Person selects Finance request time - they get a block of text that talks about what finance needs and SLAs.I have tried doing this via a Lookup Field (apparently, you cannot use those in forms), and then I tried a really long formula, but I cannot use formulas in forms either.Looking for a native solution, not a 3rd party plug in because we would not be able to clear that with our IT team.

Hi All,somehow one of my forms, accessed through a QR is asking for an email address to access it.all the other ones aren't, but this is. It has been working ok for at least a year.has someone changed the settings, if so how do I fix? thanks 

I have a base with a field "Company" that is a linked record.Ultimately, I want to pre-fill my form with all values inc Company.First, how can one pre-fill a Linked record field? Seems like it isn't possible.Second, even if it is possible, how can I allow the creation of a new such Linked record from the form?

Hi, I have a field that references the customer table. When I work in grid mode, it gives me the opportunity to add a new record in this field, however if I create a form and enter this field does not give me the option to add records.How can I enable this option to add records in a link to another record field in a form?Many thanks for your help 

I've created a task list. When 'Done" is clicked, the "Date Completed" is updated and the "Next Due" is updated based on a formula dependent on the 'Freq'. All this works fine.I then have an automation that runs to create a new record with a 'Due' date populated with the previous records 'Next Due'The automation runs fine except in the evenings where it adds a day? During the day it is fine. You an see in the attached, "IG New Messages" was clicked 'Done" on 1/10, 'Date Completed' was 1/10, 'Next Due' was 1/11 but then the automation changed the new records 'Due' to 1/12It is like there is a time zone issue somewhere but I can't figure it out so any help is greatly appreciated.

Frankly don't know where to start, and my mind is whirling with the results in the community, so let me describe what I'm going for.I've created a form that allows my community to report data in four areas for a health challenge: calories consumed, exercise calories, water consumption, and sleep hours. There's also the date and the person's name in the table.What I want my community to see is a summary of each of the four areas for the current month. I'll embed the view on a web page. Rollups, aggregations, linked records — I'm starting from square one in using Airtable and haven't figured out which and how to make this work. 'Lil help? Thanks!

Hello, On an airtable registration form that has a required field for DOB, some users have made error on their years of birth (for example 2023 instead of 2003) . Then they submit it and it fills the table with wrong data without them being aware of it. Is there a way that I can set the minimum date of birth to 01/01/2007 for example, so that the forms can alert the user that the date is incorrect at the time of form submission ? If not, which other way is possible ?

First time posting so I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right Location 🙇🏻‍♀️So I've gotten different kinds of work where I use Airtable as my main tool for project management, client portals, order/inventory tracking, ticketing, etc. And I'm looking to showcase the kinds of work I do with the platform to future potential clients!I was wondering how everyone else presents their old work (the non-NDA ones at least!) to clients? I'm not sure how to go about building my "portfolio" per se even though I've built some good stuff the past few years (thanks to the community too I've been lurking here for a long time haha!)It's kinda hard to convince potential clients that I've "been doing this for years" without having a ready portfolio of sorts to show for it other than some relatively safe screenshots (data privacy and all)Thanks in advance for any leads or advice! 💕
