I have a formula that displays a new volunteers' mentor on a schedule for staff - basically, if there is anything in the field {Mentor (from Link to Forms)}, show that, or else show * (to prevent the field from showing up (empty) on the schedule. Here’s that formula:IF({Mentor (from Link to Forms)},{Mentor (from Link to Forms)}, "*")What’s happening is that this information is pulling through many deployments later - when a Mentor is irrelevant.I want to change the field so it is dependent on the Experience field - which I hope would make it go away when that field is NOT “This is my first deployment.”So:IF(({Experience (from Link to Forms)}, "This is my first deployment",),

I am stumped on how to solve this problem.Our team has 1 table set up that is pulling data from a synced table. We added in new columns to the right of the synced data to be able to add in subtasks and a few other pieces of tracking information.The issue we are running into is there are other ad hoc tasks that need be done that are not on synced table but we need to be able to put the synced data in the same view with the ad hoc tasks.Our only commonality is that we have a linked record for both from an overview table of projects.Is it possible to bring together a synced data table and an ad hoc table into 1 new table for the team to work from?

Hello,on calender view i want to default to 30 min records shown on calender at present it is 60 mins by default.I have been trying to create a script and automation that will fill an end date and time field automatically to 30 mins after the appointment date field has been updated and then using thsi end date and time field to set this as the end of the appointmentANyone any ideas how to do this??  

Hi everyone,I could use some advice on setting up an automation for a project I'm working on.I have an Airtable base structured like this: A Rooms table (corridor, toilet, kitchen, etc.) A Products table A Proposal table A Line Items table where I create the Proposal Items which is linked to the other tables. Each product has a payback calculation (e.g., how long it takes to pay for itself) What I'm trying to achieve is to automate the creation of a graph for each job that: Plots Rooms on the X-axis and Payback Time on the Y-axis, showing all relevant products linked to that job. Either: a) Automatically generates this graph and uploads it as an image attachment back into the respective Job

Is there a way for tables data to clear at a certain time each day automatically?

I have a base that has 1 table that shows everyone that has registered for an event.  Primary field is the email field, but also has the date they registered. Then in another table I have page views by date. I am trying to figure out how to create a formula that takes the number of registrants and divides it by the page views on a certain day to give me my registration conversion rate. I’m really new to airtable so I”m not sure if this can be created.

 Hi there,I use airtable in my network of retail stores. I have a form where people make various requests, and I have added a drop down field to select the Area Manager associated with that store. This field has been setup as a table with a list of the Area Managers names, and an email field.I am trying to setup a new automation where it sends an email to the selected Area Manager to notify them of the request. I am having trouble getting the right setting for the ‘To’ field. Initially I set it to select the email field of the Area Manager table. But doing this populates the ‘To’ line with a Field ID number, and returns an error saying this is not a valid email address. Can anyone guide me on where I am going wrong? I have only used an email action in the past on a static email address, I have never set one up to use a dynamic email address like this.Thanks in advance. Images below as reference.

Hi all,  I’m looking for examples or scenarios of when and how you are using components not for entire workflows and bases, but for fields and automations. I’m also interested in understanding the impact on time savings for creating components vs instructing users to just copy or set-up their own fields and automations. 

I have a table with all our employees along with their start date, their manager, and their manager’s email. I want to send a monthly email on the 1st of the month to each manager separately that will list if they have any employees that will be reaching a milestone that month (30-day, 60-day, 90-day, anniversary, etc). So far, I have the automation set up so that the trigger is at a scheduled time, the action is finding records who are managers, but then what I can’t figure out is how to send separate emails per manager that ONLY lists their own employees and not any other managers’ employees. Is there a way to do this without having to manually set up an automation for each manager?

Hey Everyone! I’m working on custom building a dashboard for our institution that will track student milestones not only while they are in school but beyond. The way I’ve build or database, we have 4 tabs. Activity, People, Ventures and Events. Activity being the catch-all for any thing that has happened in the other 3 tabs. Anyways, what my goal is is to build a record review that looks like the salesforce education cloud that can display milestones that the student has accomplished like the photo below. Does anyone have any experience with this? I really like the way the Life events looks specifically and obviously I’m flexible, but it would be a cool feature for us.

Is there a way to see an Instagram grid/preview when using Airtable for social media content calendars? 

In automations triggered by a webhook, is it possible to use the same webhook/automation with different data payload structures? For example, if I’m importing data from 2 different forms with different JSON properties, can I then use conditional logic in the automation to parse the data differently? I know when you test the webhook trigger, it lists the properties, but could you bypass it to handle variations?

Hi, I have a company table and a contacts table that are linked. When i click in the linked field of the company table, and click +, i see all the records in the contacts table. I would like to limit the shown records to only those contacts that belong to the company in question. Can anyone advise how i do that plse?

Given the new integrated Gmail, I’d love to see the ability for Airtable to have a similar integration with Google Chat as Slack where a bot can be added to a Char room and send messages based on Automations.

Hello,we run an agency and for every client we have a different base. The base is almost identical for every client. We now have access to the business plan, and we want to use a master base to consolidate the data from every client into one base, so that we can benchmark our performance as a whole, and dive deeper into every client if we wish. We have a table called KPIs in every client base. The KPIs are always the same. For that reason I have created the same base in our master base, and I am now syncing data from master into each client base. We also have a projects table for every client, which includes 3 fields (primary metric, secondary metric, tertiary metric). These field are linked records from the KPI table. In the KPI table (for each client) we can then see how many times a KPI has been used for that client, and the overall uplift for a KPI with a client. I want the same information to be shown in the KPI table in our master base, but then for all cl

I'd like to: Identify fields with duplicate values Keep only the most recently created record, deleting all other duplicate older records Run the process and be done However, I also want this to apply automatically to newly created records. That is, whenever a new record is added with a duplicate value in a specified field, the new record should be kept, and the older one deleted.The field with duplicate values that I want to identify is called Deviceid, and I have createdtime field.The solution in the linked thread only handles existing records—it doesn’t account for new ones added later. Hello!  TIA for any help!  I'm creating a base for Donor Management and have run into a challenge.  I'm building an interface for Fundraising Campaign tracking.  The main Interface is a Record View layout.  Potential donors are loaded into a table and then viewed via this Interface.  When you click on a potential donor, it loads their contact information and the tracking data below it, as you can see in this screenshot.  *I've removed the sensitive data! Because the potential donors are linked into the campaigns, all their contact information is not editable in this Interface.  I'm generally okay with that, but I'd like to include a button that would let users open a donor's page for editing, possibly using the Contacts Interface you can see in the menu bar at the top.  Is there a way to create a link that would so

Hello, I have a table where one column is a relationship to itself. So I can links records to each other.I’d like to have another column where I show the linked records. Sort of like a Lookup what records are linking to a specific record.I found this 3 year old thread, but it has no solution offered here: Is this something I could do today?

When indenting a numbered list in the Airtable rich text field, the Level 1 numbering is working properly. However, the level 2 is not unique to level 1 and continues on the sequence from the previous level 1 line. Ideally, I could have a list organized like below:step one… Note regarding step one… step two Note regarding step two… Any idea on a quick fix for this?
