I'm trying to create a new Base for Donor information. I've successfully created the new Base and everything seems to be syncing fine. However, I have been using just a Autonumber Field for the Original Donor Primary Field and have converted it to a Formula so I can include Donor names with the Serial #. Now, in the synced base, I am unable to assign the new Field as the Primary because it's synced. Is there a way to override this? Why doesn't the change in the original migrate to the synced Base?

I am trying to receive party size data in my airtable for an integrated bland.ai voice assistant. If I remove the party size record in the airtable module, everything goes through smoothly but it is only party size that brings up this 403 error. Can you give me some insight on how I can resolve this?

Hey Gang.I know there's probably multiple ways to do this but I'll ask.If there's an automation way of stripping/grabbing two(as there will always be two) linked records in a field and placing the first in the "first instructor) field(email type), and placing the second in the "second Intructor" field(also an email type).Obviously, I'd need to grab, each of those and place them in their respective field.Simple enough, right?Or if just placing a formula in a field to reflect those emails, that'd be fine too, I guess. thanks

I am new to airtable. I used this  Standard Deviation STDEV - Quick Reference - Airtable Community to calculated the standard deviation. However I have 5 fields in this table and sometimes only 3 or 4 values are entered. I would like to only consider the fields that have a value entered. for n I added a field called number of runs, which helped, but it still considers the fields that are empty and includes them as the value "0". How can we fix this? 

I am so disappointed in the updated Record Review layout. My team was satisfied with the filtering and sorting available with the legacy element-based record review layout. I am trying to find a way to customize an efficient arrangement of fields, but all I can do now is list them one per row..? I don't want to have to look for an Airtable alternative just to build an attractive record browsing interface.

Hi all, I have read a couple of posts on this question and tried the suggestions but I can’t seem to get it to work. I have a view that I am sharing via a view only link with various collaborators. In order to allow them to update certain fields of the records, I have an Edit Record button in the grid that opens a form where they can update the information, then an automation to update the form. One of the fields they can update is an attachment field. I want them to be able to add new documents without deleting the existing ones, as for certain records there are multiple documents that will be added over time. I would rather not create a separate field for each attachment and instead just add the new ones in with the existing ones. Is there a way to do this without using a script or an external program. Hi all! I am running a T-shirt business and currently am filling orders. I have embedded a form onto my website so that when customers want to place orders, their info goes straight into AirTable. My question is this: is there a way to save this info in a customized PDF or Word doc template, and send this back to my customers? Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

I am hoping to use Airtable Forms to manage applications for a grant, but I am running into issues in finding the best way to export the results so I can review each application/record individually. Clearly exporting to .csv is not the best way to do this. Further, the grant requires an attachment upload. For a simpler grant, I used page designer to print to PDF each record, and pulled in the required fields in order to evaluate. The application data takes up one page, so I just print the pages I need. This is becoming harder as more applications are received, however, because the print options are only “print current record” or “print records in a specific view” (i.e. my entire grid/all results). What I need is to only export/print certain records that have not been reviewed yet. For the more complicated grant, I want to export each record including the attachment. Not export the entire grid to CSV then download each attachment. Is this going to be possible? Each application requires

Relative Airtable Rookie (Well, maybe a Sophomore) here… So forgive me if this is obvious or somewhere - but I sure have looked and haven’t been able to find it! I know you can use Airtable forms for other people to input info directly into your spreadsheets. Cool. Got it. But I need the opposite. What if I have all the info, but I want to generate a report or a form to distribute that? (And make it look nice?) Case Study: I produce a television talk show and I want to generate several different “forms” or reports. Examples: a research dossier for the hosts to prepare for their on camera interviews of these subjects with headshots, bios, topic-related background, social media links, etc. on the guest as opposed to a different one for the editor - with much of the same overlapping info but links to where all the A/V assets are (DropBox, whatever) versus one for “transpo” - providing home address and cell phone for the limo driver to pick him/her up, drop them off (but no one else should

I need to save each form individually as a pdf, word doc or something similar (not in excel format!) so that I can include it in the file for each person that completes the form. Dear community,In the company I work for, we have a base which contains a lot of sensitive data about clients. We are currently on the Team plan. I noticed that there is no inactivity log out in Airtable. The only safety measure I could potentially take is 2FA. Although, preferrably I would have 2FA, a inactivity log out and something that makes it only possible for colleagues to log-in when they are on their work MS365 account.I see this last thing is possible with SSO, but that's only applicable for business. Since we are a foundation, that is hard to afford for about 20 employees. I hope someone in the community can help us with this security issueThanks a lot,Sid

First post, so I am sorry if this is not clear as to what I am trying to do.  My goal is to have a formula in a field determine if 3 different fields are either blank or not blank.  Depending on whether they are blank or not return a message to that formula field outlining what is missing and required.   See picture below.  I have tried to nest IF functions using blank or not blank, but I keep getting errors.  I have also tried to use the AND and OR functions in combination with the IF function with no luck.   A formula would work best for us.   Any ideas would be greatly appreciatedthanks Bob

Budget table has multiple fields like Product, Cost, Monthly cost(Jan-Dec), budget year dropdown field, Property list, etc,.This is the form for creating a new budget in the budget Table.I want to list the property name with existing budget data in the Budget Table. If I chose X property Name, That Property Name already has a budget in that table, So I want to list down the budget cycle values only(years 2024, 2025,  2026, etc.,) depending on Property Name.For example, Property A has budget details with the budget cycle 2024 and 2025. So When I choose Property A in Property Name, Budget Cycle should list only 2024 and 2025. So that I can choose any one of these.Is that possible?

I am currently working on a project for my client, to connect his platform dashboard with airtble.I am at the step in my demo test where I call webhook payloads api to get changes that are made in airtable table records. for changing existing record is ok. put for creating new record the payload returns "changedRecordById" instead of "createdRecordById" plus the payload is generated for each change on charate in a field.its important for me so i can lay my backend logic when to call update or create method. anyone has any idea why is stil receive payload this way. We’re a film festival looking to pull the titles of our submissions in order to create slugs that can be used to create virtual posts on our WordPress site. I need a way to parse just the text from the submission, with the ability to remove special characters (i.e. " ’ ! ? ; : @ # $ % ^ etc.). I’ve gotten to this point so far: LOWER(SUBSTITUTE({English Title}, " ", "-")) This allows me to hyphenate the titles, but still includes special characters. Is anyone aware of a workaround for this, or do I need to manually create my slugs in this case? Cheers!

Check spoiler tag for completely detailed explanation of my situation, just in case you can spy a base design issue that could easily be fixed: I have a table called "Products" and a table called "Definitions". I'm linking each product in my products table to the definitions table. The record in definitions is the classification/type of product, i.e., a wall mounted faucet. In the Definitions table there are internal instructions that our staff need to check off using rich text format before the product is considered ready. It would be instructions like "Wall mounted faucet is not located on an exterior wall".I'm using a Lookup in my Products table to retrieve these instructions and attach it to products based on the definition. Unfortunately when I use a lookup to retrieve these internal instructions field in the Products table, it loses all rich text format. I keep getting these "Something Went Wrong" emails from Airtable when my automation fails, but there's no information in the email.Is there any way to customize these emails to include more information? It's getting pretty convoluted to dig into the automation error, save the Record ID or other info, go back and find it in my base, etc, etc, etc.TIA,ML 

Hi — I have a lot of experience creating interfaces for my team. I have several that work great, and all commenting is run via the Interface with no need for team members to comment in the underlying base.Last Friday, I created a new base and interface for my team, but it seems no matter what, comment notifications are opening w/in the base rather than the interface, even when the initial comment was made w/in the interface. Can someone help!? 

Hello,I would like to create a Zapier automation to notify us when a client changes details of a field in our shared Airtable.As we use forms, it seems to set the "Last Modified Time" aswell as the "Created" time, so I cannot just create a simple view to show me only records that have a "Last Modified Time".Is there a workaround in Zapier? or is there a formula I could use to say "If last modified time is greater than created time etc etc" Thanks

Is it possible to list views from the web api using oauth?  I know make.com and zapier have this functionality, but according to the dev docs it seems like this shouldnt be possible.  I've done this using access tokens for enterprise but I want to implement this functionality using oauth.  

Hey there, I’m in need of some advice from the community. We have recently set up Airtable as a CRM and it is working wonderfully with the exception of e-mail tracking. We’re still using Hubspot for e-mail tracking with a button from within Airtable that takes you directly to the deal in Hubspot - so you can see/send comms to a contact. However, we’re really keen to ditch Hubspot but I don’t think it’s possible to solve the e-mail tracking from within Airtable. Does anyone have any experience with any other CRM’s that offer email tracking and offer a clean/straight forward integration with Airtable? Currently, we use integromat to bridge the gap which works well but we cannot use it for contact mapping. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I've created a simple email automation that sends volunteers a record of their contact info (people table), plus their assignments from previous years (assignments table). I have two dates formatted the same way and displaying in the table consistently. When I add them to my email, I am getting two different formats. The data format in the table is US. One appears correctly (5/3/2024) and the other appears incorrectly (2024-05-17). I also have a date time field that is also US format with time 12 hrs. The data in that field shows up as 5/2/24 5:00pm in the table but appears in the email incorrectly (2024-05-03T00:00:00.000Z).The only additional piece of info is the dates are getting pulled in from another table with the key being the first date (5/3/24). All of them look right in both the original table and the linked table. I tried changing the two that were showing up wrong to Friendly to see if they would change but they didn't.
