Hi there, so i have a question related to a monthly/yearly payment and how that works with collaborators. I noticed that I could pay for a Pro subscription for let’s say a month or year - and then from there, invite others to my workspace. How does this work with collaborators if i already payed for a year? If i’m already collaborating on a workspace with somebody and then i want to upgrade to Pro, then i have to pay twice the amount, but i pay before i invite someone I only pay once? That seems a bit odd. Could someone clarify this for me? My “problem” is that i do all the setup for a friend of mine. I designed his workflow and he just works with a mobile app to fill the data. But i’m not sure if i have to pay for 2 people each time? i’m not really using it anymore after i do all the setup, just maintaining a bit for some improvements. I like to stay the owner and he the editor so he can’t change important stuff.

Is there a way for me to remove myself from a base which someone has shared with me? I no longer want it to appear in my “bases shared with me” section

I have integrated the Airtable API in my Wix site which was working fine with other filters but when I implemented date range filter with those filters then it’s showing empty items in response and here is the URL of my request https://api.airtable.com/v0/appGS7oZJd8MLqWKc/Candidates?filterByFormula=AND(({City}=‘Benton’),AND(IS_AFTER({Date_of_Submission},2020-06-03),%20IS_BEFORE({Date_of_Submission},2020-06-29)))&api_key=“key_provided_by_airtable”. I checked that on Airtable data UI by applying the same filter and it’s working fine over Airtable UI but not working in API calling when I applying the same filter via API.

I need to create a summary table that counts the number of times an individual product shows up in a list of linked records. For example, I have a table called “Assortments” and a table called “Fruits” that are linked. Assortment 1 has 2 apples and 2 pomegranates, while Assortment 2 has 1 apple and 2 pineapples. A third table, “Orders”, lists the assortments ordered. How can I summarize the data from the “Orders” table into how many of each individual fruit has been ordered (X apples, X pomegranates, X pineapples)?

We’re working on submitting a Team Voting block with a twist. And we noticed that there isn’t any visual controller for editing the fonts within the block (eg. editing the question, and the answers styles). Is this intentional? Is there a specific style our fonts should adhere to? If so, I’d love to know where we can get this info from, as to submit it pre-configured for this specific font style. Otherwise, end-users won’t be able to change the font. :roll_eyes:

Hello! I have built a :zap: Zap that sends colleagues an email reminder if the deadline for a task is past due. I am wondering if it’s possible to include in the Zap email an Airtable link to the specific record? This would enable the recipient to quickly click the link and be taken directly to the record for edits. Perhaps there’s a formula to add the record’s unique URL? I have created a formula referencing key dates that returns the values of “Past”, “Present”, or “Future”. I would like to filter a view showing only “Present” or “Future” records. I also want to filter out any record where the status is “Rejected” I can do (PPF means Past, Present or Future): Where PPF contains Present Or PPF contains Future This satisfies my first requirement. But I’d like to add: And Status is not Rejected But it only allows another “Or” statement, not an “AND” statement Alternately (preferably) I’d like to be able to say: Where PPF contains “Present” or “Future” Perhaps my syntax is wrong, but the filter for text fields doesn’t seem to offer boolean operations like this. My work around is to have a single-select field rather than formula where I can just choose “Past”, “Present” or “Future”. This allows me to choose the “is any of” option in the filter. But then I have to update these fields manually when the dates come and go. Suggestions?

I have employees fill in an Airtable form to submit time they work on each billable client/project. To save them time I want it to automatically fill in that day’s date. But by chance, if they enter time a day late I want them to have the option to change that date if needed. I haven’t been able to locate the answer to this quite yet, although I’m sure it may be out there. Thanks for any help to this Airtable newb!

Hey guys, I have hundreds of records that contain one of 12 combinations of initials. I want to create a new column that finds those initials and depending on what they are, write the entire name. For example: Column A includes: 2017-02-07.boe_.ag_.pdf 2017-02-07.bos_.ag_.pdf 2017-02-09.bof_.ag_.pdf I want the formula for Column B to find the initials, and write in the full name following these rules: if it finds “boe”, write “Board of Education” if it finds “bos”, write “Board of Selectmen” if it finds “bof”, write “Board of Finance” So, the end result in Column B would be: Board of Education Board of Selectmen Board of Finance Thanks for any and all help with this! I am very new to AirTable. Here’s what I would like to accomplish. An email is sent to AirTable, which is then triggered/processed because it contains a specific subject of “Inventory”. AirTable then looks at the body of the email and looks for fields with thier values. For example, the email could look like: Body: Batch = 000012 User = Mary Jane Usage Type = Discarded I would then have a table in my database which contains columns named: “Batch”, “User” and “Usage Type”. I would like the values (after the equal sign) to be added into their matching columns as a new record in the table. I have a method for creating the emails, and I can have them formatted in anyway to get this to work correctly. I looked into Zapier which appeared to be my only solution, but even that I struggled with setting up. Any kind of advice, tips, articles, videos, would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I have a formula DATETIME_DIFF(Date,28/06/2020,‘days’) This should give me the number of days between “Date” (a date field) and a specified date. I must have something wrong as it displays 18441 regardless of the date I specify. What do I need to do? Cheers Jason

I am trying to write a string of IF statements…so the logic is this: If user selects "Country’ as “North Vietnam” and/If the ‘Ultimate Destination’ is “Long Beach”, then the result should be the date column{North Vietnam to LAX}. This works. But… The problem is it won’t let me keep adding to the IF string. for example below: it won’t recognize the "China’ Query. I am really struggling with this one…any help would be so much appreciated. I’ve created a bar graph to show my sales by fiscal year, grouped by quarter. Sorting the fiscal years into the correct order is a cinch. However, the order of the quarters isn’t as easy. I’d love for it to display the quarters in order of Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4. Instead, it’s going Q3, Q4, Q1, Q2. I’m guessing that this might perhaps be because Q3 is at the beginning of the calendar year, but who knows.

I saw a post that showed an answer that delivered almost everything I wanted and I have pasted that in below. That post has been closed hence starting a new one. However please could someone advise how to adjust the formula so that the entry is only removed from the current year and moved to the following year once the day has passed (rather than on the day itself). For instance, using the formula below, a birthday on 27 June 2020 will disappear from the 2020 calendar on that day and appear on 27 June 2021. I would like to delay that until 28 June so I can still see the current event on the day itself (27 June in this case). Here is the formula from the previous post that I would like to adapt. Apologies for not crediting the person who posted this formula - I have navigated away from the page and can’t find it at the moment. I tried messing about with IS_AFTER but I am not sure if this is the right way to do it or how to insert that successfully into the formula if it is. DATETIME_P

Hi there! I am a public speaker, and I would like to use Airtable to track my “gigs”, from point of interest until they are complete. This will help me track documents and vital things I forget due to the long time frames this involves. One thing I am struggling with is that Gig start days and times are inconsistent. Meaning, I may do a full-day workshop for an organization, and that’s easy. But sometimes they want me to do two workshops, or smaller trainings split into multiple days but they are all part of a series. Currently, I have to add each day/time in as a separate Gig, which makes me cringe because they are NOT separate, but rather nested as part of the overall gig. I would like to not have to use multiple tables for this–is that even possible? Any ideas on how I can lay this out?

I am looking to take a long string of comma separated numbers (it is a string from a look up). Here is an example of numbers to summarize: 1.17-01, 1.17-02, 1.17-03, 1.17-04, 1.17-05, 1.17-06, 1.17-07, 1.17-08, 1.17-09, 1.17-10, 1.17-11, 1.17-12, 1.17-13, 1.17-14, 1.17-17, 1.17-18, 1.33-01, 1.33-02, 1.33-03, 1.33-04, 1.33-05, 1.33-07, 1.33-08, 1.33-09, 1.33-10, 1.33-11, 1.33-12, 1.33-13, 1.33-14, 1.33-15, 1.33-16, 1.33-17 If you look closely, there are missing numbers. I am hoping to find a formula that will output: 1.17-01 --> 1.17-14, 1.17-17, 1.17-18, 1.33-01, --> 1.33-05, 1.33-07, --> 1.33-17 I am flexible on the “–>”, but as you can see a simple dash won’t work, because dashes exist in the numbers. Has anyone seen something like this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Sorry sure there is something simple I am missing - I have a table which is essentially people rating how excited they are about different themes for a summer playscheme for disabled kiddies because I needed everyone to vote the columns are the themes and they have a rating of our 5 for every person who has filled it in - is there a way to create a chart to show which theme has the most votes? On the chart block, I can only find a way to make it from the different people and not the theme scores am I being silly?

Hello, I am trying to find out if there is a way to create a link, that when you click on it, it immediately brings you to/opens up a different table. For example: I have a main spreadsheet with labels in Column 1, stating the type of promotional item we need. T-Shirts, Coffee Cups, etc. Then I have a separate table for each type of item. So a table for T-Shirts with info on each t-shirt order. I want to be able to click on the word “T-shirts” from Column 1 in the main table, and have it open up the “T-Shirts” table with specific information on each order. I understand how to link so it will show you the records when you expand the data field, but I want to actually GO to that specific table. I also noticed if I try to do this with just a single data field, then it links ALL of the data fields in the column to the same record. I want each record to be able to link to a different table. I hope this makes sense! Please feel free to ask any additional needed questions. Thank you in advanc

I have three fields within my table as follows: Button Field (for the purpose of running script, available in Beta) Check Box Field (used for filtering view) Linked Record Field I am looking for script (or other method) to do the following: Click button to run script Script marks Check Box with Check Script adds all available records from linked table in the Linked Record field. For example, say there are 3 records in the linked table. When I click the button in the record in my table, the Linked Record field should populate with links to those three records. Thanks!
