Is there a way for me to get rid of the preceding "Sum:" in the interface graphs?  

Hi,  I'm running a research participant network for my organization. When our customers sign up to do product research with us, they provide a number of times they want to be contacted about engaging in a research activity. I need an flow automated flow that will 'quarantine' participants when they have met their limit, and that will reset at the end of the year. (a single select field, that I can use to hide them in the view of available participants) Currently I have:- Availability given by the participant in a form - I'm using a formula to convert that to a number field. - A 'engagement status' field to indicate whether a participant is available or currently engaged (used to filter them from view of available participants).- An automation that switches the above field from 'engaged' back to 'available' once the research as ended. I'd like to be abe to count how may times the 'engagement

I use the software to keep track of all my craft projects as well as all my supplies. I am trying to calculate the price of the supplies used for my projects ("cost per item * # of items" kind of thing), but one of my fields has multiple values. When I try the below formula, it always returns a 1.0.{Price/sq in (from Vinyl)}*{Area of Vinyl Used (sq in)} Is there a way to have each value in the "price/sq in" field be multiplied by the "Area Used" field (which only has 1 value)?

Hello, I am new to Airtable and formulas. My current formula is thisIF({Full/Part Time}="Part-time", 0.5, IF({Full/Part Time}="Full-time", 1.0, 0))I want to add a condition that if another field has two selected clients, the part time value of 0.5 will be doubled.The Full/Part Time column is a single select field. The formula isn't coming up with any results. Any idea what I did wrong, or what's missing in my formula? Thank you! 

I've submitted my information 4 times online and emailed support to have someone from Airtable call me to upgrade to enterprise. It's been over a week. Is this normal or is there a better way to get in touch with someone?

Just purchased upgrade to Enterprise. Sales rep sent me a "how to" on upgrading to Enterprise. The video shows the ability to upgrade to Enterprise when you click on the license level. When I click on the license level, it says contact sales. We've signed, claimed domain and ready to roll. Just need assistance with next steps.

Hi AirTable community! I have a problem that I can't, for the life of me, find a solution to.I have an Event table that includes a linked column for Personnel attending the event. I also have a separate table where I have profiles for each person for each event ("Travel needs"). So, if Event A has Person 1, Person 2, and Person 3 attending, then the Travel needs table would have 3 profiles in it: Event A:Person 1, Event A:Person 2, and Event A:Person 3.I am trying to create an automation where, if I add a person in the linked Personnel column of an event, it automatically creates a Travel needs profile for that person for that event. The problem is, if I add Person 1, then it generates Travel need record: Event A:Person 1. But then I wait a moment, and add Person 2, and it generates: Event A: Person 1 (again), Event, A:Person 2. It creates new records for every single Person linked to the Event, not just the new ones.I've tried using Find Records in my automatio

Hi, I have an automation that triggers on record update. But it triggers whilst I’m still typing instead of once i finish and press enter. Is there a way i can tell it to wait until the user ahs finished entering the data (aka pressed enter) and then run? Thanks in advance :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello! Who is an export in building short term rental inventory systems in Airtable?I work for a A/V production company that rents out LED Tiles and Audio equipment to trade shows. We'd like to build an inventory system that tracks gear getting rented to specific jobs and clients.We'd also like to be able to download what we call a "pull sheet" which is a nicely designed PDF that lists all of the gear getting rented for a specific job. Is anyone up for helping to build this out?

I have an interface that has worked properly for months. But in the last week or so, its behavior has changed so as to make the interface unusable. To demonstrate the issue with video, I've just made this greatly simplified version of it.The filter is tied to the element. When I enter a member number, any existing records linked to that member number should display (this still works). When I add a new record and link it to the member, it should be added to the displayed records (this has stopped working).What the video does not show is that if I look into the table, a new record has been created, but it is not linked. So it's as if the new record is being filtered out before I can even put anything into it. (If that's the case, why is it still letting me select a member - giving me the impression that I've linked the record?)I did nothing to change the configuration of the base or the interface (which was created with the Blank template). Hi there! I have two tables involved in this automation, a Projects table and a Tasks table. Currently my automation is set up so that when a project status changes to "Ready to Build," a series of new records are created in the Tasks table.I'm running into a scenario where a project might be paused or delayed and moves back to "Pending" status, then back to "Ready to Build" again at a later date. Is there a way to keep the automation from recreating the same set of tasks again?Thanks! 

Building a couple automated email reminders and having a weird issue. I have three attachment fields, first is for a black credit card authorization form, the second is for client invoice, and third is for client’s completed credit card form. So far, my automated email reminder for past due balance works nicely, which includes hyperlinks to auth form and their invoice. However, I’m building a second auto email and when I try to enter Clients completed form link, nothing shows up. I have checked multiple times and there is indeed a link in the row & field, but when I go to fill the body of my email with placeholder text and insert the dynamic field for Completed form URL, its blank. It’s almost seems like the properties for automations are syncing with what is entered on my table.

I'm using Airtable to keep updated physical therapy notes for learners in a special needs school. All PT students and I fill out a form that feeds into a table to keep the daily notes. This is all fine until trying to fill out the information for group sessions but having it feed into each learners' individual notes.What I need to be able to do is select all the learners present in the group, fill in the general session notes (I.e. date, time, what activities the group did) and then have the form open a section for each of the learners to have an individual section to be able to write up their individual performance. This single form then needs to feed into individual records in the main database table. To try and make it clearer, if there are three learners in a gross motor group (child A, B and C) I need the main database to reflect the following:For child A - the date, time and general group info, Child A's individual performance in the g

I am looking for a Chrome extension that sort of acts as a reverse web clipper. The extension should take data from Airtable (or alternatively a csv-file) and put it in certain input fields of a handful of selected websites. Hello!I created an automation that is pulling records from ONBOARDING table to a APPLICANT table - I have about 25  records (steps) I would like it to pull. I got the automation to work, however, it's only pulling 10 of the 25 records even though I have the Maximum Record Limit set to 500. (tried all different numbers). I also noticed that in the Update Record action of the automation, when I hover over the chip in "Fields" it says "Preview: 10 records" - this might be where the issue is, but, I can't figure out how to update that. any help is appreciated. I saw some other posts about this from almost a year ago saying it was a bug. Wondering if it just didn't get fixed. I am able to manually add the other steps, but, that kind of defeats the purpose of an automation. thanks!

Hi,I have a database for planning a vegetable garden, within it there is a table for vegetables which contains a field called 'avoid', this links to records in the vegetables table that this plant shouldn't be planted near. I would like to do some sort of rollup / lookup to show a list of vegetables that need to avoid this plant.Beans need to 'avoid' onions.In the onions record I'd like to see field that says onions are 'avoided by' beans.This is similar to a two-way link where one person becomes their daughter's mother after making the link.Any ideas? I run an event. Participants can suggest multiple different types of program items to have (talk, workshop, etc.). Since Airtable doesn’t support form logic (grr) this requires multiple forms, as each item has different requirements (for a workshop I need to know room layout, for a performance I need to know A/V needs, etc.). I noticed that a single table can support multiple form views, so in theory I can gather all this data in one place, which is great. But to do that, I need some way to indicate which form the data came from so I know which item type it’s for. Airtable also doesn’t support hidden form fields (grr!). It will look bad to have a form that says “Workshop Proposal Form” and then have a question for “What kind of item is this?” with “workshop” as the only answer. So is there any way to create a form key of some kind? Or am I stuck making one table for each type of item, or doing some hacky workaround like creating fields called email-workshop

I have a table for payment processing. When new records get created with a certain status, I would like to find the biggest check number in the table and add 1. Not sure if this would be using automation or formulas but thought I would start here. Thank you!

Hi folks! I have been stuck on an automation for a few days now 😕😕 I have two tables: "Tasks" and "Topics".I used the "Topics" table to add a layer to my "Tasks" table. Individual records in "Tasks" are nested under the appropriate "Topics" section.The "Topics" table has a record (section) titled "Resolved".When I update the status of a "Task" to to resolved, I want the record to move from its existing "Topics" section to the "Resolved" section within the "Tasks" table. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get this action to run! The closest I've got is trying to add the record ID of the "Resolved" topic, but it doesn't actually move the original record. Thank you in advance! 

I'm trying to create a solution for managing events and event attendance.I have 3 tables: Contacts, Events, Attendance.In the Contacts table, an Event is manually linked via a linked field (the Contact can have multiple Events in here, sometimes added in quick succession). Once this link is set, I have an automation that runs to create a record in the Attendance table (fields: Contact link, Event link). This table must have one record per Contact per Event. The Contact link is set in the automation for this new record but how do I update the Event link (considering the Contact can have multiple). The part I'm struggling with is how can I link the Attendance table to the correct Event.Any advice is much appreciated.Thanks.

Hello Airtable community!I inherited a pretty robust Airtable system from a predecessor and have been working to revamp it, but my formula skills are not as good as the person who came before me, and I've been struggling to get IF AND statements to work. The logic seems sound, but they keep returning empty cells.One of the ones I'm struggling with concerns a formula that should return 1 of 2 options if a cell has a specific entry. I can get a single IF statement to return the correct result, but as soon as I try to include an AND, it fails. Here's what I have so far:In my table, the formula field is 'Ship From' with the two options being 'Direct from Printer' or 'X Distributor'. I want the formula to return 'Direct from Printer' if another field - 'Role' - is one of 3 options: Marketing/Sales, Licensor, or Editor in Chief. All other Roles should return 'X Distributor.'So I put in: IF(AND

Hello everyone,I need a little help about how to preview an email before send it. I explain myself, I need people who uses my interface to be able to preview their email  before send it.What I have now is when an entry is create by an automation  I have a script who send it (Outlook) but don't allow to preview the mail.I came up with an idea is to create a formula with "mailto" who allows to have an interaction with outlook with that I create a bouton and when people click on the bouton is create a preview of their mail directly on outlook with the information they put in a formulaire when the creation of an entry.But I have two problems : - "Mailto to" not allow html so I create a macro in Outlook to put my text into html format- Limitation of numbers of characters by 2000 so i can only use Firefox for browserSo I don't have any idea to find something more optimized because I have an html format kinda

Hello everyone, I have the following problem: I have an Airtable automation that informs the assignee of a project when some fields change. Now we often have the case that there is no assignee yet but someone edits one of these fields. Then the automation fails and I receive a notification by email every time that the automation has failed. Can I change this somehow?Unfortunately, triggers cannot be cobined, for example: If field A changes and assignee is not empty. best regardsMirko

hi everyone!I am using automations to send a message on slack when certain conditions are met. In the body of the message, I want to show the conditions that were used to create the listed results... but cannot figure this out.I have a "Find Records" block setup, with the condition to find 5 records that match a certain multiselect field (in my screenshot, "O Positive").  This works fine.When I go to configure the message block,  I can add different dynamic data by clicking the +, however, there is no way to select the condition. I want it to say "O Positive" in my message body (chosen dynamically from the Find Records block), but I only see the option to list the results here, which puts this in my message 5x, since it's showing this field for each of my 5 records. Instead, I want to simply show the condition I selected in the Find Records block 1x... so the message lets us know the conditions that created the resulting message.
