Formula field {Allocation Form Recipients} = IF({Send Allocation Form},{Conditional Recipients Rollup (from Payment Schedule)}) where {Conditional Recipients ...} is a rollup field and {Send Allocation Form} is a checkbox field. Formula field {Approval Email Subject Tag} = IF( AND({Term Deal},{Allocation Form Recipients}), 'Recoupment Allocation', 'Payment' ) where {Term Deal} field is a rollup and {Allocation Form Recipients} is a formula field which I explained in #1. When the {Term Deal} rollup is empty and the {Allocation Form Recipients} formula field is also empty, the {Approval Email Subject Tag} should show 'Payment' but it shows 'Recoupment Allocation'. I tried to troubleshoot this by creating 2 separate formula fields stated below: a. _check = IF({Term Deal},1,0) b. _check copy = IF({Allocation Form Recipients},1,0) Surprisingly, these 2 formula fields work as expected. Meaning where Term Deal is blank _check is 0. When {Allocation Form Recipients} is blank, _check copy is 0.

Hi AirTable Community, I’ve been struggling with WORKDAY_DIFF formula. My team tracks reports using Airtable. We set an attendance date (AD) and a report type that are set/selected. Based on the report type, I have a formula that will add a certain number of days to the AD to calculate the draft due date (DDD). There is also an option to assign a due date should we need to override the calculated date.  Formula as follows:IF({Assigned Draft Due Date}, {Assigned Draft Due Date}, SWITCH({Report Type / Tasks}, 'ACM - ASMP', WORKDAY({Attendance Date}, 5), 'ACM - Audit/Survey Report', WORKDAY({Attendance Date}, 8),    etc., etc. for every report type.  My operations team also want a ‘Days Overdue Field’ so that they can quickly see if a report is overdue. The WORKDAY_DIFF field I know includes both the start date and the end date in its calculations, I can negate this by minusing 1 day in the formula. But it seems no matter what settings I use - I tried setting ‘Use same timezone for all co

Hi Community, I have an issue with an automation - I have created this, so that when a new organisation is added, they automatically get added to my H&S Declaration table - however everytime I turn the automation on it creates a random selection of additional duplicate records in the trigger table (Organisation)? Any pointers on what I am doing wrong? Thanks 

On one of my interfaces, I added a calendar element when opening record details. It works great on desktop, but the calendar element is cut and unusable on mobile. Has anybody else had a similar issue?I tried to move the element at the bottom and middle of the record details card, but no success so far.

I own an accounting firm where we do work cyclically. I have three tables: CLIENTS (where I identify the assigned bookkeeper) EEs (lists the bookkeepers) RECURRING TASKS: (For example, Payroll for Hourly Employees) ITEM FREQUENCY: This includes Client, Task, and Frequency. EG Client A, Payroll for Hourly Employees, Bi-weekly Client B, Payroll for Hourly Employees, Weekly Based on this, I’d like to create a table (or view) that shows the bookkeeper her work within a specified time period. And, ideally, I’d like each instance of the task to be able to get ticked off (so each instance is a new record). Which is to say: Week one, the bookkeeper can see that she should run payroll for client B. Once she does, she checks it off (maybe includes the completion date and attaches the payroll report) Week two, she sees that she needs to run the payroll for Client A and B. Dear Community,I’m working on a vacation & sick leave overview. I created a form each, each of them populating a table, one for the overview of vacation requests and one for sick leave. In the employee interface, we have one calendar page. This shows atm the vacation requests for the current user. Now my question is if I can add the data from the “Sick leave” table to this one calendar page, meaning that in the calendar the employee can see the vacation as well as the sick leave info.If you need pictures for a better understanding, I’m happy to provide them. Thank you so much already!Best, Philip

Hi Everyone,I pay people through Airtable for piece-rate work. On the backend, the data is organised by tasks and by day (e.g. Task 1, Task 2, Task 3 – Monday; Task 1, Task 2, Task 3 – Tuesday, and so on).There’s a button that lets me “Email Payslip,” but when I use it the PDF that goes out to employees ends up jumbled. The tasks are out of order (for example: Task 3 – Wednesday, Task 2 – Tuesday, Task 4 – Monday), which makes the payslip confusing and hard for employees to read.Does anyone know how I can fix the output so the payslip shows the tasks in the correct order?Any help greatly appreciated

I've a table that generates records through the Airtable built-in form. Each record comes with an ID from an external software. The ID is connected to accounts in this external software, so account 1 could have ID: 123, account 2 could have ID: 1234. What I want is to prevent the same ID appear more than once in the table. In other words: When the form has been submitted and the record has been created, I want Airtable to not delete, but make the user aware of the duplicate in the table. Is the above mentioned possible with an Automation? One think I want to mention is that I can't create an Automation for each ID since we have more than 100.000 IDs (accounts) in the external software. 

I’m running a program for rebates related to project work on homes. The issue I’m running into is how to track the rebates over multiple projects. It’s not as simple as just keeping a running total unfortunately, there are several factors that determine what the available rebate amount is and how it is applied.  I have it all figured out for single projects with everything calculating correctly, so I know exactly what the rebate would be if the full rebate limit is available. However, when I have more than 1 project and a rebate is being spread out between multiple projects is where I’m having issues. I’ll try my best to describe everything below. I am setting up an automated email and want it to go to the email (will be multiple emails) from a lookup field that has the email address in it. When inserting the Data from the Record and selecting the property that has the emails in it, it gives me options. I can not get any of them to work! The error is that the “To” input is empty. I am so happy and excited about the abilities for Omni to code a custom interface page and to make a custom extension and host as a page.  but I am having a ton of difficulties and challenges in figuring out how to do what I want to do—even with cursor help.  I want to create a custom interface page with the extensions that act like a normal list view but has an improved/optimized record detail view that includes the flexibility features I want for building interfaces pages.  here is what I want to do, and I am hoping to have some guidance or help for record viewer Floating/static Header control + adding a “status field” to the right of the header that also floats Making groups able to collapse and expand on title  Pagination or tabs that I can custom organize, name and assign groups and/or fields to to make long record detail pages, shorter I have tried and tried again. But all the Omni produced pages are incredibly buggy and impossible to tweak and don’t have the functionality. and I

My organization seeks ability to create Airtable based apps with a proper user portal for external users to create/register and log into their profiles.  Unfortunately, Airtable portals doesn’t fit our budget for the number of external users we might expect. (Approx 400).  (we have business plan by the way) Even Softr is pretty pricey, but it seems like a halfway decent option.  I have looked into many different options from Pory.io, Zite, Stacker, Noloco, Glide, WeWeb, Bubble.io, Jet admin, etc  even thought of possibly seeing if I could linked Airtable to a supabase and build portal in Bolt.  I am not very technical, but I want to learn how to do this myself and help build a solution or find the right one.   there are so many options, and let’s say the budget is $2000 per year for approx 400 external users.  This is on top of the existing seats paid for the business plan for internal users.  what do people recommend, and why?  Please feel free to DM if you can offer more guidance. 

Hello all, I am new to airtable and here is my problem: My database has few automations that run weekly (separate times and days). I would like something like a calendar, where I can monitor at any point if any of the automations ran and if it produced a changed output (its not always expected to). I have tried using the timeline and calendar interfaces, but those are based on fields and not automations. Have I missed something, any advice on how I can visualise what I am looking to do?Thank you

I am experiencing an issue duplicating one of my bases. The details are: Base ID: appMbMonUXRj3FMXX Base name: QUAN LY TNC Issue: When I attempt to duplicate the base (both with data and with structure-only), the process never completes. The dialog shows “Duplicating your app is taking a bit longer than expected,” but even after more than 12 hours, the duplication does not finish. Troubleshooting attempted: Tried duplicating with full data → stuck. Tried duplicating structure-only (no records/attachments) → stuck. Tried in multiple browsers and workspaces. Waited over 12 hours without completion. Already tried to create a new base from a snapshot → still unsuccessful. Anyone have experiences in this matter?

I’m really sorry to have to ask this question.But since the last update of the interface, I have the following problem: How can I exit the edit mode of interfaces if I haven’t made any changes? The publish button is not active, and the “exit” button that used to be there is gone. What am I missing? Thanks!

We have a rich text field with the lever turning on allow for rich text.   This field is being displayed on a form.   However,  when the form is launched,  the formatting is removed and it's all regular text.  I guess Airtable removed formatting for the field when used in a form?We dont have access to the full version of mini Extension just the free version.   

Hi, I see that Airtable doesn't list a php sdk, but I found 2 and saw another user on here mention another.  So, what's the most current, works with the current and near future api?  I’d like to get started but don't want to spin my wheels on a dead sdk.  Thanks :)

Is there a way for Record IDs to be visible after a user completes a form? Maybe in the message that appears after hitting the submit button to act as a “confirmation code” that can be copied and pasted elsewhere?Current state: Team member completes airtable form. After completing the form, team member is redirected to message thanking them for the submission. Goal:After completing the form, a record ID is generated from the completed response and the user is able to copy and paste that record ID number to be shared/associated.  To my knowledge, the record ID is generated after the form is completed and is visible in the Data is there anyway to make this visible sooner and so the user doesn’t need to view the data to pull record ID info? 

Hi When i'm working on the interface, I would like to be able to copy past data from a cell to another cell. Is it schedule in the roamap ?   

I have set up an automation to email myself and my coworker when a new marketing task is submitted through our airtable.Currently I have it set up with me in the to address field, and my coworker in the CC field. When the automation runs, it sends me a duplicate email, and my email is copied into the CC line. I initially had both of us in the To line, but then it would copy both emails to the CC line and we would both get a duplicate email.I've reset the triggers and retested multiple times, and I cannot find a fix for it.

Hi, apologies if this is a duplicate – in my searching, I only found questions about a Gmail integration. I’ve noticed that we’re having issues with automated emails being sent TO Gmail email addresses. The automation works in all other cases, but with Gmail addresses, we’re finding that recipients can’t find the email in spam/junk or promotions tabs. Is there a known issue there, or does anyone have suggestions for what might be happening? Hi all,A while back, I somehow managed to add an “Add Item” list element inside the single record template. But I have no idea how to recreate this now. I would start from a blank canvas, but I don’t see a way to recreate this situation.  

We recently updated our AirTable interface to sync directly with our google calendar. We deal with scheduling out many projects across multiple calendars with subcontractors and we use all day events to do so. When I tried to sync our calendars without incorporating times, all of our all-day events were extended out by one day (ex: All Day Event on 7/8/25 in Google Calendar would translate to Start/End: 7/8/25 → 7/9/25 in AirTable when times are excluded). I’m assuming that this stems from Google Calendar and AirTable having different “all day” time functionality. Is there a way to fix this? Here is the result I’m looking for:All Day events syncing from Google Calendar to AirTable exactly as shown on Google Calendar (ex. All Day Event on 7/8/25 in Google Calendar has a Start/End Date of 7/8/25 → 7/8/25 on AirTable) No times in the date fieldPlease keep in mind:We are currently on the Teams plan for our level of permissions. We are not using automations for any of our date creation. We
