Hi. I would appreciate help with the following: I have the fields Country (required field), Region and Title. I need to concatenate these fields in different ways depending on which fields are filled. -If just Region is filled then Region, Country -If just Title is filled then Country- ‘Title’ -If both Region and Title are filled then Region, Country- ‘Title’ -If neither are filled then Country Thank you in advance for any help. I was wondering if it’s possible to add multiple filters in the Airtable API URL - I have figured out the way for one filter, but I am struggling to apply multiple filters. Here’s the URL I made, which has a single filter applied : api.airtable.com/v0/<BASE_ID>/<TABLE_NAME>?api_key=<API_KEY>&filterByFormula={City}="MUMBAI" The above URL works perfectly, but if I try to add another filter (using &), it shows errors. I am looking for a way to add these 3 filters : {City} = “MUMBAI” (field type = single line text) {Age} > 25 (field type = number) {Calculation} = “Ok” (field type = formula, result would be either “Ok” or “NA”) What is the recommended/correct way to add multiple filters? I’m having trouble getting DATETIME_FORMAT to work, and I can’t figure out what I’m missing. My date field is in local time. I wanted to get week numbers from the date, which I have working fine, but it is seeing dates in UTC I think, and DATETIME_FORMAT did not work. Formula: DATETIME_FORMAT(SET_TIMEZONE(Date,'America/Los Angeles'),'MM/DD/YYYY') Referencing the red box you can see two entries with incorrect format. I’m a little stumped.

Hello- I’d like to create a formula that allows me to track expiration dates status (three possibilities): Due soon, but not within four weeks (blank value in table); Due within four weeks (“Yes”); Past due (“Late”) I’ve been able to create this with the first two status items, but not the third (“Late”). This is not a question more so a time saving work around for anyone else that faced this issue. Scenario: We have a column of emails in the format of ‘firstname.lastname@domain.com’ We needed to break this down to their full name in one column but the standard UPPER and LOWER case formulas left the data looking ugly and wasnt great for merging into emails. Hi All - This will be my first post. I would like for our category row ‘Summary’ cell to sum the output of our number of work days driven by the following formula IF({Start Date} = BLANK(), “0”, WORKDAY_DIFF({Start Date}, {Finish Date})) The formula currently is working to output the numeric value of the number or work days, but AirTable ‘Summary’ does not recognize it as numeric and thus does offer the option to sum the results into the Summary cell.

Hey there, I would love a bit of help with an issue I have been struggling with: I have large data set containing keywords / descriptive tags to describe/classify the designs on our webshop juniqe.com, they are stored on a table called Image Keywords in my base, whereas the designs they are related to are on a table called DESIGNS I wrote the script below to merge the duplicate entries in the keyword table, since these records hold much information other than the linked record to DESIGNS. Hi everyone! I’m setting up an automation for my team that will send an e-mail for our stakeholders based on a trigger. Right now we already have a few similar automations running, in which the action is the airtable native “Send E-mail”, and it sends an e-mail based off our team’s outlook inbox. Now I’ve noticed that airtable also has an integration with outlook that allows for an action “Send E-mail”. So I’ve been wondering: what’s the difference between sending an e-mail with airtable “send e-mail” and Outlook’s integration (considering that I’ll always use an outlook inbox)? Thanks!

Hello, first of all, the Airtable API documentation is great. That said, closely following the example code, i’m trying to understand how I might do something functional with the retrieve method. If one of them is missing, i want to show the other, if both are missing, i want to keep it blank, and if both are full i want to concantenate them. This is my formula syntax but its not working. Hello, I’m trying to create a formula field that will return a value of “Overdue” or “In Progress” based on the values of 2 other fields: Writer Due Date and Status. Here’s what I’m trying to achieve: IF the Status is any of the following: In Progress, Awaiting Information (Outreach 1), Awaiting Information (Outreach 2), Awaiting Information (Outreach 3), AND the Writer Due Date is BEFORE the provided deadline, then the field returns “In Progress”. I have a table for physical addresses and a formula field to convert linked records to an array. Below is an example of the array. “Main Residence: 123 Main, New York, NY 10001”, “Office: 789 Left Ave, 3b, New York, NY 10001”, “Vacation: 456 Right St, New York, NY 10001” How can I extract or leave only the address for the office? If there is an office, show the address and if not, leave the field blank.

Hello, HELP! Working with a base containing formatted currency fields but when downloading CSV, the resulting import into MS Excel, converts the currency fields to TEXT. Is there a way to override this so that currency remains as a number field? Thank you in advance Kind regards, Sally

Is there any good workaround to specify a global filter that applies to all shown tables or views? The idea is that a user needs to work with multiple tables/views and applying a filter to each of them (changing customer, for example) is quite cumbersome. Any ideas? The alternative we are using is using a different base for each customer, but that doesn’t seem very efficient and requires to apply changes in multiple bases.

Hello everyone! I’m trying to migrate from Google Sheets to Airtable, but still having issues creating a budget template for my projects… As you can see in the screenshot below, my “total” and “tax” fields are working fine when I add numbers to the fields “QTY” and “COST”, however, my “SUBTOTAL” formula (also in the screenshot) always stays at zero, regardless if I do or do not add numbers to the fields “freight” or “Discount”. I also would like my subtotal field to calculate the formulas even if “discounts” and “freight” are numbered as zero as I don’t always get a discount or have to pay for freight. Can someone please help me understand what I’m doing wrong and how to solve it? It would be very much appreciated!

I’m having a little trouble with a script I’m using to update a date field in Airtable with data from an API. The API I’m using gives date/time info most of the time. Every once in a while it’ll output a string like “UNKNOWN,” which brings the whole thing to a grinding halt. I’d like my script to be able to skip trying to enter that in and move on to the next iteration in the loop. I’m feeding the data it gives me to a Date() function to save it as a new variable, then I pass that variable to table.updateRecordAsync(). But when the data is a string that can’t be parsed into a date, I get an error saying that the Airtable can’t store that string into a date field. Which is totally accurate and fine, but it halts the whole script. Is there a function/operator or something to check whether a variable/constant/piece of data is in a format that Airtable will accept for a specific kind of field? Thank you!

Hi all, I want to use the DATEADD() formula on only the oldest created value (date) in a Lookup column that stores multiple values (a 1-to-many relationship is needed). I can’t seem to figure out a way to design the base or write a formula that does this. Any ideas? Thanks, Julie

I have long-text field with many words ( I do not know exact number of words, but all of them separated by " "). Is there any possibility to split this field to different words? This script for automation. When the form is submitted with long-text field, the script will create as much records as words in long-text field. Thank you so much

Scripting within an automation, I’ve tried a couple of ways but I can’t get the console log to output across multiple lines. As a work around I can use a table, but it’s kind of annoying that it’s collapsed, and I just want a few lines of console to appear; Any suggestions?
