when i use the interface (not editing pages, but actually use the interface) it is really slowi have around 3 bases and interfaces that are my company main bases and we use them dailythey are slow, to load up a list of records (10-20 records, filtered from a 5K records table) takes 4-5 seconds, this make my work lagalso, search by one term is slowmoving between interface pages is slow, each page take at least 3 seconds to load not to mention the mobile app… is it fixable? is it just the way it is?

Hey. Thank you in advance or your help on connecting data between two tables. Linked records does not seem to apply here, but maybe I’m missing something. I am using Airtable to track disciplinary data for a school. We have two tables, one to track Pink Slips, and a second to track historical Disciplinary Cases. The first table “Pink Slips”, is where new pink slips are entered, using a primary field of a sequential ID assigned by Airtable for each new pink slip. One of the fields in this table is “Student ID”. The second table, “Cases” contains a historical record of all disciplinary cases (some resulting from pink slips), akin to a court case, with all data related to the resulting actions, dates, etc… The primary field in this table is “CaseID”. All of the data in the “Cases” table is imported from a school database, and also contains a “StudentID” field. For reasons that i would rather not get into, the two tables cannot be merged into one. Why can't I edit the title of some fields in a form? I can edit some of the field titles and not others.

Hi everyone,I’m looking to develop an Airtable extension that relies on some wasm library loaded by the extension script, and some Web Workers started asynchronously on user request (NOT background or service workers, just plain WebWorkers). The wasm scripts are loaded using standard `WebAssembly.instantiateStreaming` API. Does anyone know if there are any surprising sandboxing limitations imposed by Airtable extension architecture for this?

I would like to populate a linked filed with the lookup field coming from different table. How do I automate this

Hi all! I am wondering how one might create fully dynamic filtering of linked records in a single field in a conditional form in Softr.My boss had designed a database for a client with separate fields for different linked records for different user attributes. For example, we had a user attributes table that spanned age range, income, demographics, etc. To make each option in these categories show up only for specific fields, he disaggregated them into their own fields on a user, allowing an individual to use Softr and make selections exclusive to the attribute type. For example, salary ranges would only show up in the income field, racial information on demographics, etc.Now, we want to move all the attributes into one field and filter by the attribute type, so have all the options in one field and have it look into the linked record to filter by category. 30-40k (category: income level) next to Asian American (category: demographics) next to Works in service category

I’m trying to work out if I can create an automation to do multiple tasks or if they all have to be separate (which might max out my allowance)…I have a table which tracks my book contracts. Each contract may have up to 5 titles on it and each title could be produced in up to 6 editions.  I’d like an automation that creates a record in my edition table for each planned edition…So,Test title 1 HardbackTest tile 1 PaperbacketcI can get this to work if each automation is separate but feel like there should be a way to group it somehow. However, at the moment when I try to create a chain it comes up as ‘otherwise’ so it doesn’t run the paperback if there is a hardback. What am I missing? 

Hey Airtable fam,I'm trying to build a deal flow CRM in Airtable, and I'm looking for a way to automatically pull investor data from Pitchbook into my base. I'm currently doing it manually but it drains my time.I'm wondering if anyone has found a good way to automate this process. I've been looking at a tool called the Pitchbook Investors Scraper on Apify, which seems like it could work, but I'm curious if there are any other solutions out there.I'd love to hear how you're using Airtable to manage your deal flow and any tips you have for automating the data entry process. I’ve built a database of grants and funding opportunities, and a survey that asks users the questions to determine their eligibility for the various grants. I have a table that lists the grants and how the various questions have to be answered to determine eligibility. I’d like to create a table that populates which grants a survey respondent is eligible for when a survey response is submitted. How would I go about doing that? My first thought is that it would be a formula, ie if Survey Q1=X, Survey Q2= Y and Survey Q3 = Z, Awesome Grant = Eligible, Awesome Grant = Not Eligible. But Airtable doesn’t allow formulas across tables. Then I thought an automation, or a junction table, but neither of these seem to be the answer when I dig deeper. So, rather than struggle for another couple of days, help?

After extensive searching, I’ve confirmed that rollup functions do not support finding the mode of the values in the rollup field. I can’t be the only person who has come across this need, so I’d love to know what methods are available without using a 3rd party app. I’m not opposed to an automation, but would rather it be as simple and without the need for scripting if possible.

I would love to sync Airtable and ChatGPT w/ the new integration but I can’t find any details on security for this and how data is used. Any one able to give insight?

I have list of keywords and URLs. I want script, once in a month, go through those URLs and find if that keyword is still on that URL. Based on result, update field with the status, Exist / DoesNotExist I want to track my backlinks for SEO purpose, they are still live or removed. Any ideas?

I am going around and around a lot on this problem and still trying to fin. d the right way to go.I have a table of invoices. The invoices are numbered sequentially. Right now I have to enter each invoice number by hand after checking a summary table I made that lists the latest invoice number used +1 from a formula.I would like to have the “latest number used +1” inserted into the invoice number field of the new invoice being created. I imagine that it I not as hard was I am making it. I will tell you that I am TERRIBLE at automations. I find them unintuitive and frustrating. It’s probably me.But I am guessing that an automation is what I need..So invoice table is “Invoices: House” and summary table is “Invoice: Next invoice Number”. The summary invoice numbers in the “Invoice: Next invoice Number” table are in a rollup field and the Invoice Numbers in the “Invoices: House” field is a numbers field if that matters.Any help is appreciated.Be

I’m trying to create a form with múltiple tables, I have a table “Responses” that contains fields directly linked to the form, and i have a table “Sectors”, representing the sector that corresponds to that specific response (I have multiple other tables, but it’s not particularly relevant for this question”)When I want to manually add a Sector to a Response, it shows all responses and fields linked to this Sector (image for reference). I would like to know if its posible to just have the name showing, just like if it was a multiple selection field.Disclaimer: I cant use third party options like fillout. Currently:What i want:  

When I use the search extension in Airtable, it works well for finding a record. However, when I click on a record, it shows me the fields, but I would like to be able to edit them. I have a view that is very well organized, and I was hoping to see the record displayed according to that field arrangement, but unfortunately, I haven't found a way to do this.My goal is to quickly search for a record and, upon clicking it, display the specific information I need. So far, I haven't been able to organize the displayed information in the way I want.

I’m looking for help with integrations: My nonprofit uses Airtable heavily to track lists of people and their contact information. We also use MailChimp to send out updates to our partners, newsletter subscribers, etc. using that contact information. My question is this: Is there a simple way to establish a “Two-Way Sync” between Airtable and MailChimp so that they will always contain the same data, regardless of changes made on either side? I need a true “sync” that will: Update MailChimp with any changes entered in Airtable (add, remove, edit), and Update Airtable with any changes entered in MailChimp (subscribe, remove, edit). I’d rather pay a small fee per month for an established app to do this than build it in Zapier/Make, but either way is fine if it works. TIA, M p.s. I have 3 tabs. Tabs 1 and 2 are two batches of records. How do I select records from tab 1 and 2 where status is x, to populate tab 3. Then when I update a record in tab 3, I want the original record fields in tab 1 or 2 updated with status or other field updates and comments in the record in tab 3.

Team, subscribed to Airtable a month back. Created a workspace called “Rohit”, created two bases - “Sales Pipeline” and “Open item tracker”. Now Sales Pipeline base is completely gone. Can’t find anything. Was working on other things like importing data, building AI etc for a large excel database i have. But pls advise how can i retrieve my base “Sales Pipeline”

Was adding leads to a dbase and chugging along. Next thing I know, AirTable stops accepting any inputs. Checked my wifi, logged out and back in. Anyone have a similar issue? Any suggestions, tips or hints would be welcomed.  

I’m working on an interface that is all connected to Property Projects through the Record Picker. I’m trying to create elements that pull data from the subject property through the Record Picker. For example, I’m creating a Comps element. However, I need the comps to pull only from the Property selected in the Record Picker. It’s prompting me to create a condition, however, I don’t have the Record Picker as an option. What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance!
