Bonsoir, j'utilise une extension dans Airtable. Pour que cette extension fonctionne, il faut que je l'actionne manuellement en allant dans l'extension.Serait-il possible d'actionner des extensions via un bouton quand on est sur interface ?

I have an Airtable automation where I : Filter participation records based on the type of participation. Send a recap email with details specific to each type. Currently, I want to update the record to mark the email as sent. Right now, I need to include the “Update record” action in every conditional block, because Airtable executes actions only inside the branch that matches.Question:Is there a way to have a single “Update record” action at the end of the automation, regardless of which conditional branch was executed (ex : where I wrote HERE on the picture), instead of duplicating it in every branch?I’m looking for a faster, cleaner solution to handle this “final step” without repeating it multiple times.  

Hello!We have a medium-sized team (50 people) that has recently moved to a newly built interface. Everyone in this team will have editor permissions for all of the fields that they see in the interface pages.We also want to be transparent with our entire org (300 people) and share this interface with them as many will be making requests via a form that creates record in this interface. However, we’d like to restrict them to editing only a few fields.Is this possible? Or will I just have to limit them to having commenter permissions?

Hi all, I am trying to create an automation such that when a person creates a new record in the projects table, a view is automatically created in the tasks table such that any records with that record are filtered to be the only records shown. I figured that this could be done with scripting, but I’m not sure how to create a view in the tasks table with a specific filter applied.

Hello everyone,I’m a beginner in Airtable.I created liked to another records in my database but it doesn’t goes out automatically. A helper said that I have to enter the link manually by clicking in the box and selecting the correct link to establish. He corrected the field books to show me an exemple. But I don’t see what’s wrong. unfortunately there is no way for 3rd party clients to update an existing record ussing forms. it creates a new one upon submission. it would be great if users can click on a link which opens up a partially filled in form > they fill it in even further and hit ‘ update’. updates existing record rather than creating another.

While researching, I noticed that there are several ways to integrate this data.For example, one could use “bridge” solutions like OneDrive or SharePoint, or connect directly to Airtable via its API.I was able to connect directly using the API (after creating a Personal Access Token), performing a blank query and using an M script to retrieve over 20,000 records. However, I would like to hear from more experienced people whether this could be the best approach compared to using a bridge solution. Is there any word on a feature to allow users to change the day of the week that you use for the first day of the week? I know a lot of US calendars will use Sunday for some reason, but I don’t actually know any businesses that run on a Sunday start. I’ve always used a Monday start to the week. And I’m pretty sure most of the rest of the world uses Monday to start the week.I noticed people have been asking this for almost 8 years according to the help center. And it seems like the easiest change.People were trying to suggest that we change our browser settings to some part of the world that does Monday start, and others were reporting that that doesn’t actually change the user experience. And making that change messes up every other application I use, so it doesn’t make sense. I had Omni build a Form for users to collect new record information. It has two levels: Claims and Claim Details. I wanted it to allow a user to create a new “Claim” and the continue to add each new “Claim detail record” from this same form. It works in the regular interface, but as a form it only allows the user to select from existing “Claim Details.” Is there a setting for that field that I need to change in order to adds new detail records?

I have an automation that copies fields from one table to another once the checkbox is selected. One of the field is “Marketing, Communications & PR”. When the automation runs, it splits it into two items “Marketing”, “Communications & PR”. I want to have it as one sector when it is copied to the 2nd table. I tried some of the ideas mentioned previously but got confused. I can try “Marketing Communications & PR” which might solve the problem but don’t like it.Is it possible to solve this issue? Thanks a lot.

I am trying to figure out what is the best way to track tasks that have multiple layers and steps in Airtable. Let’s use an example here to explain: There is a task at my company where we track the payment for assets we purchased from a third party source which...Step 1 - requires sending an LOD (Letter of Direction) and making sure the LOD is acceptedStep 2 - tracking the payment is made to my companyStep 3, if applicable - tracking the pass through of a payment that was made to the prior payee rather than our company (which happens when the LOD is not accepted in time before the next payment cycle) So I would name each task (1) LOD, (2) Payment, and (Pass Through). We use a standardized setup of multiple Airtable bases per project, with one base acting as a central master.Example:For project P1, Workspace 1 contains three bases: A1 (master), B1, and C1.There are one-directional syncs from A1 → B1 and A1 → C1.We want to duplicate this setup for a new project (P2) into a new workspace, resulting in bases A2, B2, and C2, while: retaining the same sync structure (A2 → B2 and A2 → C2), keeping all interfaces intact, and minimizing manual setup or reconfiguration. Hi everyone,I am using Airtable to manage our Recruitment process, and I need some advice on how to handle user permissions and data privacy.I have two specific challenges I'm trying to solve: Field-Level Security: I have a "Salary" column in my base that is highly confidential. I want to ensure that certain team members cannot see this specific field. Historical Data Restriction: When a new staff member joins the team, I want them to only be able to view records created from their start date onwards. I need to find a way to hide all "historical" records that were created before they joined the base. What is the best way to achieve this?Many thanks.

Hello all,I'm working on an automation that was working prior. Now when i changed fields on other tables (added lookups and notes that are not in automation) that were affecting it stopped working.I was working on a backup and I restored it back to normal and still not working.After running some test I see that the first step that is create record its not populating, therefore when I link back to that record it doesn't recognize it. None of those fields were changed but I did add lookups to that table and deleted a few fields that weren't necessary.I went back to revision history to see if I'm missing something but everything seems to be the same and now I cant link records. don't know what to do.Also the webpage asked me to refresh several times.The testing was working on the main CRM and when it stopped working on the backup it stopped working on the main as well (where I wasn't working at the moment)

Hi all,We currently use Airtable as an HR Management solution. It contains tables and data to store all sort of sensitive information regarding the employees.This leads to a big problem: whoever has the right to build the Airtable app, sees data that he should not have access to.I know that if we are talking about end users, it’s possible to mask specific information in the interfaces. But here I’m in front of a different requirement:Somebody who has the right to design and build the solution should not have access to the underlying data, or at least to part of itI believe there’s no way to achieve this? Anybody else is facing the same problem?

I built a small site using Softr + Airtable (Free plan, working as a data sourcing). My site reaches Airtable API calls litmit very soon every month. Just a few days, the limit of 1000 calls has run out. I don’t think there are so many visitors to my site. I want to know whether one API call is counted when one visit to my site? My site is https://www.petfairsea.com/ can anyone help point out the reason of this issue. If there are really so many visitors, I’d have to upgrade to team plan. Thank you in advance. 

I’m tentatively looking for a freelancer to help another department in my business get their Airtable database off the ground - Creative team to manage projects.This is a fairly simple, and short, job that I’d do myself but simply lack the time, and the department has no capacity themselves to be trained up to do the work themselves, so this is very much a capacity issue. Interest?

Hi, I used to be able to download CSV files, but without changing anything, I can’t do it anymore.When I select “Download CSV”, I don’t have the option to name the CSV and that made me choose the file where to save it.I tried with different browsers, private windows, different laptops, cleaning the cache and cookies. I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

Hello,I’m curious if anyone here has connected Airtable to Lightspeed restaurant U Series POS?  Either directly from Airtable to Lightspeed or indirectly with a third party like Zapier.   I’m trying to pull daily sales and labor data from my POS into Airtable.  We are working on creating better internal tools that our managers can have access to.  Tools that would track our main expenses like labor and COGS.   I’m having a hard time getting the connection done.  Airtable is not currently an integration partner with Lightspeed U Series.  Neither is Zapier or something like Make.com.  So I’m looking for someone with experience with these specific platforms. The people at Lightspeed have not been super helpful.  I know I can’t be the first person to try to pull data to Airtable (or even something like Google Sheets).   Thanks
