This question was asked by another user in February but was closed without an answer. It does not seem possible to move cards between stacks in the KanBan view on an iPhone or iPad at least. Surely this is a basic requirement of the KanBan view? Is there a tip or trick? Or is it something that the broad user base do not need? A reply would be appreciated even it is to confirm that the answer is “no”. Thanks in advance for any help.

I would like to have a total of all ordered qty for each item but got this error. When I use a lookup field, it shows ordered qty correctly.

Hi there, I’m new to the community so apologies in advance if this is posted in the wrong area. What I’m attempting to do is use the Automations function (next to blocks) to send an email when a new record enters an Airtable view: Trigger: When a record enters a view. Action: send an email. For the email address, I’m asking Airtable to lookup the email address from a linked record ValuesBy LinkedRecordId. When I select this, I receive the following error in red: ValuesByLinkedRecordId cannot be converted to a string When the action is changed to send a slack notification, that same email field shows a preview and appears in the body of the notification. I’ve tried changing the email field to short text, adding quote marks and commas, all unsuccessful. As a new user, I can’t attach screenshots to this topic. Hope this is enough info. DThanks

I’m trying to achieve the following: If Invoice Status is ‘Paid’, then ‘Paid’ If Invoice Status is empty and the date in Payment Due is on or after today, then ‘Due’ If Invoice Status is empty and the date in Payment Due is before today, then ‘Overdue’ I have created this formula, which is not working (it does show ‘Paid’ but not ‘Due’ where applicable): IF({Invoice Status} = ‘Paid’, ‘Paid’, IF(AND({Invoice Status)} = BLANK()),IS_AFTER({Payment Due}, TODAY()), ‘Due’, IF(AND({Invoice Status} = BLANK()),IS_BEFORE({Payment Due}, TODAY()), ‘Overdue’))) Any help would be much appreciated!

I cant seem to get this formula to work. its prefilling an airtable form but i cant get the second feild to fill. it says its a good link it just doesnt fill the second box. heres what i have CONCATENATE(‘https://airtable.com/shr4cGVHhm4dRLllz?prefill_UNIT=’,{UNIT} & ‘&PLANT=’,{ENCODE PLANT}) here is an example of what that outputs https://airtable.com/shr4cGVHhm4dRLllz?prefill_UNIT=261A&PLANT=12-CONV the unit number prefills fine but the plant does not. 261A is the data from the UNIT table. the title of the field on the form is also UNIT. 12-CONV is the data in the feild PLANT. The title of the feild on the form is also PLANT note everything in my base is in all caps and “encode plant” is all the plant names run through the url encode formula. i also have a single select with three options id like to prefill also if someone can help me with adding that as well?

I’m a freelance writer. Here’s my overall goal for Airtable: Collect raw data by which to cold contact companies > Make contact with said companies and move data to a Contact list > Work contact list until a contact becomes a client > Store dynamic information on all client activity such as first and subsequent project briefings and timelines; planned delivery dates; payments and all that jazz. I want to be able to reference raw data from the prospecting list across all tables as they narrow down from uncontacted Prospect to Contacted to Client. I was hoping to set the actions so that all the raw information in a single Prospect record could be linked or maybe automatically transferred to the Contact list once the “Status” field is updated to “Contacted”. Then, once a single contact record is updated to “Client” by check box field, it would transfer to the Client list without dragging all the raw data with it, just keeping linked to it. Hi, I have a list of rows with numbers. I would like to be able to send SMS to specific numbers, but it seems I can only send SMS to All the row. Is there a way to add a kind of button or something, to be able to select some numbers I want to contact ? Thanks, Sébastien

Dear community, I am working on a table for an art collection. The first field is supposed to sum up my most important information about each piece with a formula: CONCATENATE({artist},", “,{title},”, “,{year},”, ",{height (cm)}, " x “, {width (cm)}, " cm” , ", ",{technique}) This works perfectly fine so far, but I am struggeling to include an IF-Formula within the existing formula: Since a few of the works have a depth worth mentioning, I also want to include the depth of the pieces in the first field, but only IF the field {depth (cm)} is NOT EMPTY. As far as i researched this would be IF (depth != BLANK (), " x ", {depth}) , but I didn’t manage to make this work, let alone yet including it into the existing one. Just to sum it up, I want the formula to be displayed like this, with the bold part only being shown if the field is not empty: artist, title, year, height x width x depth cm, technique I’m sorry if this is obvious but I’m very new to airtable.

Hi All, I’m trying to add an individual button for reach row which would redirect to different URL’s, For ex : Row 1 : Button 1 : Google.com Row 2 : Button 2 : Airtable.com so on Currently when I proceed to add the button table with a simple URL formula (image below) It proceeds to apply the same URL for all rows on the Airtable sheet, from which every button points to the same url (google.com in this case) How do I edit individual button’s URL destination? There is a last_modified_time field. I display in it the time of the last change of the “Статус_Заказа” field. Using the solution i found in a similar thread but this formula keeps returning an error. I can’t figure out where it has gone awry. The Total Time field is field type: duration. The others are multiple select. Without the DATETIME FORMAT i dont get an error but get the time as raw seconds and that isn’t helpful. Hi, I need to extract the time and date from strings such as this one and add them as a separate cell in the record: “Thu 7/06 9:00am - Vinyasa Yoga @ Millennium Park” I’m trying this but it’s returning “-2”: MID(my_string, FIND("/",my_string), - 2) Also tried this to get the date and time up until the “:”: MID({Class Title}, FIND("/",{Class Title},0), -2,FIND(":",{Class Title})) [my_string is actually the field where the string is hosted] What would you recommend to extract the date? We usually have to register how many points an employee got per week, and then we have to see the average of points by a pair of weeks :nerd_face: . Hi, Airtable - Support Prefilling a form When making an Airtable form, you can use prefill_ parameters in the URL of the form to prefill specific fields. Find the URL for the form you wish to prefill. Once you get the form URL, you can ... I am using the prefill feature to create 3 different links for 3 different webflow pages. On each page i prefill a single-select field with the page-name. Eg. “project_one”, “project_two”, etc… Within airtable i open the “embed view” and copy the code. Then i add my “?prefill_ProjectName=project_one” code. After that within webflow i use the HTML-Embed element to paste the shared link into. Hey, I am creating a base to understand staff allocation over the various projects - 1 person goes to 1 project only until they are transferred. I had to assign people (names) to specific projects (as in their current projects). I have created a sheet called transfers where there is a FROM project and TO project. Over time, each person will have a number of transfers. So in the staff sheet we see the various TO sites where the person has been transferred to over time. Now to find the most recent transfer and hence their current project I used the solution from this answer: Find last entry So it does some work in the background and basically finds the most recent entry for the person and shows that in the formula as text The problem is the grouping. As you see the name name has gone into 3 groups Cummins Pithampur Since they are showing text from the same source, they are required to be in the same group. The logic beats me. Some help please. I’ve just discovered that the Open URL option in the new buttons feature is much more powerful than I realised. E.g open up your local email client with a prepopulated email. Even prepopulated forms. But it assumes you know how to code URLs. Which I don’t. Can anyone suggest some simple references please. I see from the Airtable Help samples you can send stuff to Google Mail / Calendar or Twitter or anything I guess. So would all these products publish somewhere what their own URL formats need to be? What should I search for? For example, one of the Help samples is: “mailto:” & ENCODE_URL_COMPONENT(Email) & “?subject=” & ENCODE_URL_COMPONENT(Subject) & “&body=” & ENCODE_URL_COMPONENT(Body) But what language is that? Where can I learn more?

Hello - I’m brand-spankin’-new to Airtable. All I need is a formula to show the entered date as “Quarter / Year” e.g. 08/05/2020 should show up as: Q3/2020 I’ve been working w/ the instructions here - but I don’t need the shifting of a fiscal year that’s different than the calendar year and since I’m a noob - I don’t know which section of the formula is actually doing that. I’m also liking the formula that simpy uses the SWITCH(Month({FieldName}) I found here on the community forum, but I don’t know how to format it to include the Year and " / " between the quarter and year. SWITCH(MONTH({Field Name}), 1, "Q1", 2, "Q1", 3, "Q1", 4, "Q2", 5, "Q2", 6, "Q2", 7, "Q3", 8, "Q3", 9, "Q3", 10, "Q4", 11, "Q4", 12, "Q4" ) So 2 possible answers, 1) Show me where the year shift is happening in the linked article formula, or 2) show me how to add the slash / and Year in the above SWITCH formula. Hi, I’m combining 2 fields (1 with date, 1 with time) into one single time+date field. Problem: when it combines the time, it switches a time that was in “pm” to “am”. Any ideas on how to solve this? many thanks :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi is there a way to hide certain fields from view? I have an amazing base (if i do say so myself) for a charity that links all of our fundraisers and how much they have raised etc which is great what I want to add is a column for any of my paid fundraisers on how much I have spent on things like their wages so I can work out their ROI - not obviously I do not want them to be able to see each other’s wages is there a way to either hide a column or add an extra tab/table and hide that instead?

I have a dropdown menu, and I want to automatically send a third party an email based on the person’s response. For example, if they choose option 1, I want to send an email to example@gmail.com. I’m going crazy trying to figure out how to remove spaces from this ARRAYUNIQUE. Here’s an example of what I’m getting in the rollup field: “5f286eebbd491e7410167db7”, “5f286eebbd491ee230167eaf”, “5f286eebbd491e8175167e8f” I’ve tried adding another formula field alongside this to substitute the spaces using this: SUBSTITUTE({Rollup Field},", “,”,") But it throws an ambiguous error. Oddly, it seems like the ARRAYJOIN is working fine. That defaults to no space, and it seems like you can run the SUBSTITUTE formulas over them with no issue. Are there any known differences with ARRAYUNIQUE? Any ideas on how I can strip the strings from it?
