I am trying to create a google doc and populate it with data from airtable. The report pulls from a survey table and a linked responses table (~71 responses need to be organized into pillars and topics in the google doc). I have been trying a combination of automation and scripting or the scripting extension and google app scripts to generate the report. With every attempt so far, I have been blocked by 302 redirect errors. Has anyone been able to successful use the combination of app scripts and air table? I love it for the flexibility on formatting, but am not sure how to proceed. 

I have a table where I’m recording goods sold off from our inventory with a checkbox and status change. When I change the dropdown to `Sold` or `Donated` - I want to be able to :  Copy certain columns from one table to another (in the same base) Request certain fields to be completed (sale receipt upload, sale price added, etc)Is that at all possible in Airtable? 

Hi everyone — quick question about Airtable’s native Google Drive sync feature.We use a synced Google Drive table that should refresh automatically about every ~5 minutes. Occasionally, the sync fails or disconnects, but Airtable seems to only surface this through the UI (banner/error state), not through any automation trigger or field.Goal: Send a Slack alert when the sync itself fails at the table level (not tied to individual record changes).Is there any native way to monitor Google Drive sync health or detect sync failures via automations? Or do most teams handle this with a workaround like heartbeat/staleness checks or external monitoring?If this isn’t currently supported, I’d be happy to submit it as a feature request — just want to confirm best practices first.Thanks in advance for any guidance!

I have a main database that stores all the data for my company that is collected from various sources (team member input or customer input but all data is entered through forms) and I need help ideally preventing the input of duplicate records, or at the minimum flagging/alerting the person entering the data that a record already exists.To simplify - For my team member forms:Is there a way I can have a script or automation check existing records for matching ‘Project Name’, ‘Customer Name’, and/or ‘Customer Email’ and if any of these exist already, allow them to update/edit the record. Or, if it does not exist, they can create a new one. If there is no ability available to to stop/alert them while they are creating, can an automation be used to send an email after the form is submitted alerting them that it was a duplicate so they can go in a fix it?For the forms being filled out by the customer:Same as #2 above,

I have an Automation that sends an email when conditions are met that includes Update Record link for Fillout. However the link is emailed as a text field - e.g.  https://forms.fillout.com/t/zzzz?id=xxxxHow do I modify so it sends as a clickable link.I have tried  "<a href='" & {Your Formula URL} & "'>Open link</a>"  and it did not work.

The idea is to create a base where: each day’s puzzle layout is stored, community submissions (solutions) are logged, performance (time/words/points) can be tracked, and users can filter or sort challenges by difficulty or date. We use Airtable to manage trailer rentals and insurance compliance. Customers periodically upload updated Certificates of Insurance (COIs), and we need to retain all past COIs for audit and compliance purposes. The issue is that Airtable automations overwrite attachment fields when updating records. When a new COI is uploaded, it replaces the previous file, which causes us to lose historical documents.What we want is for a “Misc Attachments” field to act as an archive, where: Any new file added to the COI field is copied into Misc Attachments Existing files in Misc Attachments are preserved No previously uploaded documents are deleted Requirements: Both fields are attachment fields in the same table The process should be automatic (triggered when a COI is added) The archive m

I have a database that is used to record the status change of projects and I need help with my automation. Currently I have an automation set up that is triggered when a record is updated (watching the “status” field); then it creates a record on my Change Log Table. I want it to record the “old” status and the “new” status in a field, along with the date the change was made and the user who made it. I am having trouble setting this up, can anyone help? We are looking for Airtable to help automate our Onboarding process.  It seems like it sends a blank email whereas we want a calendar invite they can click accept and it be inserted into their calendar.  Then we also tried Google meetings to get this working but it only works with 1 user.  Once you add more than 1 person it will not send a calendar invite.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Goal: To update records in my base table when changes are made to an existing meeting notes document or a new meeting notes is saved. I’d like to review the changes so I can approve or reject any changes before the records are updated in Airtable.Situation: I currently have my meeting notes saved in Google Drive which n turn is  synced to my base in Airtable. Hi guys, hoping you can help me out here. I have ‘Table A’ which is used for collecting issues. I have ‘Table B’ that will be used to track the work being done to resolve the issues from Table A. I’m looking for a way to automatically populate predefined data fields from Table A into Table B when you put a ‘tick’ in Table A.For example: If I have Issue 1, Issue 2 and Issue 3 in Table A and I put a ‘tick’ on Issue 2, I want the predefined fields from Table A to then automatically populate in Table B. Any help you’re able to give would be greatly appreciated   

Hey everyone, I’ve been using Airtable for a bit now and I love how flexible it is, but I keep running into issues when it comes to forms. Whenever I need a form with conditional formatting, multi-step process, or really anything that goes beyond a “submit once” form. Are there any good tools/workarounds that could achieve this?

Hello Airtable Friends!! I am trying to send automations to emails, but my automation field is not loving any of the formats I am using to store the email. I’ve got a lookup field, I’ve got a rollup field, I’ve got a formula field to put the lookup field into, and nothing!!! Can someone please point to where I’m going wrong?For some (maybe?) useful background: these fields are connected to one that is “limited to last 1”, so I only see who checked out a piece of equipment most recently, the original emails are synced from another base, and I select the field name in the drop down list so the “Field ID” keeps coming up, regardless of which field I select (the ID’s vary, though).

I have setup an automation so when someone emails a purchase request, it makes a record and notifies me in Airtable, however it doesn’t look like there is away to email an attachment and have it populate the attachment field. Is this possible?
