Hi all,I have 2 connected fillout quizzes.The first is set to create a record, which is working fine.In the end screen, I have a URL button linking to the next quiz.The second quiz is set to update a record, but in the results, it creates a new record.I add an ID in the URL parameter for both quizzes.Where do I go wrong, or what am I missing in the process?

I want to create a signable form using some fields from my base. I want to insert an image at the top of the form, then a bunch of text from a .doc, then the signature field. How do I do that and what level of subscriptin do I need. I’m currently on free. This form will be sent to 28 unique email addresses.

I am doing a hiring and searching for jobs database. I have made the form for everyone involved but would like for them to be able to change their availability status after having submitted the form. Is that possible? I haven‘t upgraded my subscription, I am still using the free version. I am new in airtable, still trying to figure it out if it is the answer for what I am looking for before I start paying. 

I am new to Airtable and need help or confidence about the process. I have created two interfaces, an intake form and a directory to organize  the data collected from the form. I am unsure of how the form data populates the directory. Am I missing something?Thank you to all who reply.

Hello! I am banging my head against a wall trying to figure this out--maybe someone here can help! I want to update an Airtable record based on receiving a new email. The emails are automatically logged by subject line in Google Sheets. The subject line contains the same “Name” that matches the Airtable record, but it also contains other information--so the information in the Google Sheets cell does not match the Airtable field exactly. I would like to search the Google Sheet and find the Airtable record based on the information in the cell, but it seems like I can only locate the Airtable record if the information in the Sheet matches exactly. Basically, is there a way to swap these two fields, so that the automation is searching for the “Name” field in Airtable from the Google Sheet?  

Hello, in my department we use Airtable for people to register when they want to attend any of our workshops. Is there a way to connect Airtable and Outlook and have some sort of automation where when someone registers for one of our workshops they automatically get a calendar invite on their outlook calendar about the event?

I have a base setup for a check in system. When a user checks in through the airtable form that triggers a notification to slack. Within the form users can upload an image file which I am able to see on airtable. The form is updating on slack but the image shows up as a url that when clicked it gives this error: “The link you're trying to visit is not available. Please visit our support center for more information.” Any ideas for how to troubleshoot this?

Hey all, I noticed that my automations that rely on new rows as triggers on Google Sheets no longer seem to be triggering. I created a new base and a new sheet and tested, just to discard issues on my sheet or AT base, but it looks like this new automation didn’t work either. Is this issue happening to anyone else? I checked the status pages of Google and Airtable, but couldn’t find any info. 

What are some good software options for automating generation of word docs using data from a record in Airtable? I would like to be able to trigger the automation in an Airtable interface (as opposed to an extension on the data side).

Hello everyone,I’ve created an Airtable to help manage pre-production workflows and am struggling to get what I think is a simple automation running; I’d like that when a record is assigned a contact person (The “Assigned?” field is “Yes”) and given an “Assignee” to carry out this task, that the status of that record be updated in the “Interviewees” table to “Contact Assigned.” This is the automation I’ve set up so far but no matter what I do, I keep getting the “Record does not exist” error.

Hello all.I’m looking to have a column (field) of field agents run/process once a week on a Monday morning. FYI these agents a prompted to go out to the internet and retrieve x information. There are no automation options specifically to do this - am I missing something or how else can this be achieved?Currently I’m thinking about having an automation that changes a field in each record (say make it today’s date), and that is something the field agent is monitoring to kick it off and run. Feels a bit hacky, but if anyone has better ideas please let me know. 

Hello! I need some help with an automation setup.I’ve created an automation that ends with a loop step, and I would like to add one final action after the loop completes — for example, sending a notification once the last record in the loop has been processed.However, Airtable doesn’t allow adding steps after a loop, so I’m not sure how to handle this.What is the best practice to be notified when the entire automation (including the loop) has finished running?Is there a recommended workaround or pattern for this?Any advice would be very helpful, thank you!!

Automation in AirtableI have a Donations table with the field Donor that contains a Single Line Text field with the donor name in it. I have a Summary table that is linked back to the Donations table using the Link Another Record filed with Allow Linking to Multiple Records to be selected. The linked field in the Summary table has a list of Donors from the Donations table. Hi everyone, I have a question about automations and what the best practices are when dealing with external API calls.We have an automation that enriches records by pulling data from Google Maps. Every time a new record is added to the table, a second automation is triggered: it uses an enrichment API to find an email address from the website, verify it, and then update the record.The issue is that this enrichment step takes a few seconds for each record. Because Airtable runs automations one-by-one and queues them, this causes huge backlogs of pending automations, which slows everything down and sometimes causes the system to get stuck or bug out.My question is:What’s the recommended best practice to avoid infinite queues or stuck automations when using external APIs that take a few seconds to respond?Should we batch records? Hey all - I need your helpBasically - am trying to create an expense reimbursement form that will then create an automated email to trigger approval/payment.I have created a form in Fillout that has a form and a sub-form. Users can use the sub-form to input 1 or more items to their submission. Once filled out and submitted it gets ported over to Airtable. (all good - this works)What I originally wanted to do was to have it take all the records that are created in Airtable from Fillout consolidate into a different table with a roll-up field to get the total payment needed. (for example, if you have 3 items for reimbursement, fillout creates 4 records in Airtable - 1 for each item and 1 for the overall form info). However, I had to create a workaround because the info for each item for reimbursement was being ported over to Airtable from Fillout immediately upon creation. The workaround I created was to add a trigger at a t

Hello all,I’d like to configure my Airtable so that when the category for a record is labeled ‘Uncategorized’ it automatically triggers a certain ‘Status’ label. I’ve been following this tutorial: https://support.airtable.com/docs/repeating-groups-of-automation-actionsBut I get stuck when I reach the last step for the action as I’m not sure what to put in ‘record ID.’ Every time I run it, it updates the same record, but I want it to search for all records that have been labeled ‘Uncategorized’ and update their status. How do I do this? Thank you! 

I have over 30 Google Forms to Airtable automations setup which have been running very smoothly until this week when suddenly none of them are running anymore. I’ve tried resetting the connection but none of them want to trigger when a new form is completed. They only seem to work when I “run as configured” but that’s not really automated. 

As of today, our airtable automations that react to action triggers of certain fields in not really large tables are incredibly slow and sometimes freeze, so we have to disable and re-enable the automation.In addition, navigation in the backend is tedious and slow.Our tables have a very manageable size, the largest tables have around 1500 rows.Since we also use Softr as a UI, we also notice very poor performance here.What can we do?Edit: To make the severity a little bit clearer: Action Trigger was set at 2:54 pm and the automation was finished on 3:49pm! It simple copies a row from Table A to Table B! 

New to airtable. I’m looking to have Airtable create a record when someone submits a Google Form. See image below. Worksheet: select worksheet Help: 5) Row data… I select the relevant rows from the spreadsheet, but then within each of the “Columns” I don’t see any data to pull on. Hello everyone,In short, I am trying to use an automation to combine multiple single select linked fields into a single multi select linked record.I have two bases: projects and team. Depending on the complexity and size of the project, there may be 5-15 resources assigned. We assign these resources through their own single select linked field so that we can utilize the timeline/utilization function. This makes doing things for the entire team complicated - such as creating a distribution list for the team members -  as we have to create a lookup field for each resource's email, another field to combine them, and another field to format it. I thought a simple automation could address this issue. It is pretty simple: when one of the 15 single select linked records is updated, it updates the multi select "team" field with all the assigned resources. I am running into two issues: 1)If I don't put a separator, then the multi select merges them all together
