Hello Airtable Friends!! I am trying to send automations to emails, but my automation field is not loving any of the formats I am using to store the email. I’ve got a lookup field, I’ve got a rollup field, I’ve got a formula field to put the lookup field into, and nothing!!! Can someone please point to where I’m going wrong?For some (maybe?) useful background: these fields are connected to one that is “limited to last 1”, so I only see who checked out a piece of equipment most recently, the original emails are synced from another base, and I select the field name in the drop down list so the “Field ID” keeps coming up, regardless of which field I select (the ID’s vary, though).

No mention of this in the docs.Is it possible to limit the number of found records by setting the maximum limit to “1”?

I have setup an automation so when someone emails a purchase request, it makes a record and notifies me in Airtable, however it doesn’t look like there is away to email an attachment and have it populate the attachment field. Is this possible?

Edit after ~1h of investigation: it turns out these are rate limits that are the culprit. Which raises a new question: if I change the email address in the automation, will it impact the runs that are currently in progress? My guess is no. And so, if no, is there any way to trigger a re-run of the currently stuck runs?  I several automations running that involve sending emails. They have both run over 6k times until yesterday around 8pm many runs are stuck in “pending”. There are several things puzzling about it:There isn’t a clear cut off when the automations started getting stuck. I have an Airtable automation where I : Filter participation records based on the type of participation. Send a recap email with details specific to each type. Currently, I want to update the record to mark the email as sent. Right now, I need to include the “Update record” action in every conditional block, because Airtable executes actions only inside the branch that matches.Question:Is there a way to have a single “Update record” action at the end of the automation, regardless of which conditional branch was executed (ex : where I wrote HERE on the picture), instead of duplicating it in every branch?I’m looking for a faster, cleaner solution to handle this “final step” without repeating it multiple times.

Hi all, I am trying to create an automation such that when a person creates a new record in the projects table, a view is automatically created in the tasks table such that any records with that record are filtered to be the only records shown. I figured that this could be done with scripting, but I’m not sure how to create a view in the tasks table with a specific filter applied.

I have an automation that copies fields from one table to another once the checkbox is selected. One of the field is “Marketing, Communications & PR”. When the automation runs, it splits it into two items “Marketing”, “Communications & PR”. I want to have it as one sector when it is copied to the 2nd table. I tried some of the ideas mentioned previously but got confused. I can try “Marketing Communications & PR” which might solve the problem but don’t like it.Is it possible to solve this issue? Thanks a lot.

Hello all,I'm working on an automation that was working prior. Now when i changed fields on other tables (added lookups and notes that are not in automation) that were affecting it stopped working.I was working on a backup and I restored it back to normal and still not working.After running some test I see that the first step that is create record its not populating, therefore when I link back to that record it doesn't recognize it. None of those fields were changed but I did add lookups to that table and deleted a few fields that weren't necessary.I went back to revision history to see if I'm missing something but everything seems to be the same and now I cant link records. don't know what to do.Also the webpage asked me to refresh several times.The testing was working on the main CRM and when it stopped working on the backup it stopped working on the main as well (where I wasn't working at the moment)

I have three Tables. - Commit Items, Invoice Header, and Invoice Detail. Lets assume that For Commit No ACB001 there are 4 Records in Commit Items Table with many records for other Commit Nos.. When the invoice is received for Commit No ABC001 and entered on Invoice Header table with Invoice No and Commit No ABC001, I would like automation to grab four records from Commit Items table and create those 4 records + Invoice number in Invoice Detail table. How do I achieve this? Just a reminder, I am new to AirTable.

I have a table called “Tickets” that my team enters project requests. Each ticket has a due date. A second table called “tasks” are specific things that need to be done to complete the project. Some of these tasks must be done a specific number of days (lead time) before the ticket due date to meet the deadline.I have a third table with standard tasks with a field called “lead time” that I use as a template to populate the tasks for each project.I want to be able to automatically enter the task due date based on the pre-defined lead time and the ticket due date.
