Hello, We have went over the automations rate for airtable on business plan 100k. However, there appears no easy way to upgrade and a base that runs an app stuck with no ability to resolve. We’ve sent support email but no response yet.  Any solutions or way to get in touch with airtable so we can resolve this issue. This is costing us big. No response from their sales form either yet.

I have a table called “Tickets” that my team enters project requests. Each ticket has a due date. A second table called “tasks” are specific things that need to be done to complete the project. Some of these tasks must be done a specific number of days (lead time) before the ticket due date to meet the deadline.I have a third table with standard tasks with a field called “lead time” that I use as a template to populate the tasks for each project.I want to be able to automatically enter the task due date based on the pre-defined lead time and the ticket due date. I’m trying to build an automation so that if I put ‘Regular’ in the ‘type’ column in the bookings table it will automatically populate the ‘populate issues’ column in the same table with all the entries in a list (‘issue date’) from the ‘Issues’ table. I’m trying to work out if I can create an automation to do multiple tasks or if they all have to be separate (which might max out my allowance)…I have a table which tracks my book contracts. Each contract may have up to 5 titles on it and each title could be produced in up to 6 editions.  I’d like an automation that creates a record in my edition table for each planned edition…So,Test title 1 HardbackTest tile 1 PaperbacketcI can get this to work if each automation is separate but feel like there should be a way to group it somehow. However, at the moment when I try to create a chain it comes up as ‘otherwise’ so it doesn’t run the paperback if there is a hardback. What am I missing?

I am going around and around a lot on this problem and still trying to fin. d the right way to go.I have a table of invoices. The invoices are numbered sequentially. Right now I have to enter each invoice number by hand after checking a summary table I made that lists the latest invoice number used +1 from a formula.I would like to have the “latest number used +1” inserted into the invoice number field of the new invoice being created. I imagine that it I not as hard was I am making it. I will tell you that I am TERRIBLE at automations. I find them unintuitive and frustrating. It’s probably me.But I am guessing that an automation is what I need..So invoice table is “Invoices: House” and summary table is “Invoice: Next invoice Number”. The summary invoice numbers in the “Invoice: Next invoice Number” table are in a rollup field and the Invoice Numbers in the “Invoices: House” field is a numbers field if that matters.Any help is appreciated.Be

Hello,I’m trying to automate the population of resumes as attachments to a candidate table once a form is submitted.  I’m having trouble getting the resume file to attach to the resume field.  When I do it like this (within a loop through the uploaded resumes), I get an error saying “Invalid String”.  That’s likely because the “ContentReference” is a JSON formatted string.  I don’t see an option to insert the resume file itself, only metadata.  How can I actually auto-insert the resume file itself? Thank you,Robert

Hi All. I have a problem that I hope is just a result of me missing something simple. I have an automation creating Outlook events from a list of Airtable holidays and birthdays. The “create” automations work fine. I was also able to capture the Event IDs from the Outlook events in the corresponding record in Airtable. Now I’m trying to generate a second automation for record updates using the event IDs and am running into an issue. When I input the data, the “Event ID” field shows up in the “Calendar” field, and the Event ID field is blank, so the automation won’t run. Photo included. Any ideas?

Hi everyone,I'm helping out with the technical logistics of an in-person event. I've set up a contact database as a Base and configured an automation that triggers an email to send when the record's status updates from "pending" to "invited." The automation includes a prefilled link to Typeform which is generated from a formula (and that in turn syncs back to the base). Happily, all these aspects work fine 🙂The only unexpected hitch I've encountered is that the automation seems to have trouble passing well-formed HTML over to the sender (in this case Google Workspace. Hi, I am trying to construct a daily email to summarise data. I have all the data I need, but I cannot get the email to structure correctly. I have used HTML to make a table for the data, but when the email sends the formatting is awful. I’m looking for a way to get the table to display correctly, does anyone have any ideas? Ideally I want the table to sit in the white space with the other text I have attached a copy images to show the issue and what the raw form looks like

Is it true that Airtable is fairly limited in its ability to allow you to use HTML formatting for send email? Is the solution then to have to use SendGrid or another service that could help out with email automation?
