I have a table of contacts that includes zip code for each contact. I want to provide a view of contacts for a given county. I can get a list of zip codes for the county, but it's too many zip codes to list each one as a separate condition on a filter.I thought about setting up a zip code table and using a linked record from the contacts table. Is there a way to create a new linked record field that links based on an existing already-populated column? There are too many records to select linked records manually.Or, is there a way to create a view with filter criteria that references another table?Thanks for any suggestions.

After someone submits my form, I want it to go directly to my designated redirect page. Instead, I’m getting this screen:How can I get rid of this screen so it goes directly to the page I set as the redirect? I have a lot of people filling out forms who are… let’s just say this is too much opportunity for them to click the wrong button or get confused. I need this screen to go away.

In my life outside all things Airtable I have a large collection of curated resources on Product Operations. podcasts, articles, resources I have created, along with my partner in crime on this venture. We want to create a custom GPT based on all this content that we can make available to our followers, peers and professionals. Does anyone have experience of being able to do this with Airtable? I think I can get the information into airtable using field agents to scan docs and pages, transcripts etc.  I would guess Omni would then take over and it would be used as the searcher and retrieves of summarized information. Thoughts?

I’m trying to extract information from within our confluence setup, using field agents to locate specific piece of information from a specified page (via URL). I got it to work once, but now it just says it cannot access the page, as if it has no authentication (which is probably true). Is there a way to provide it with authentication to go do what it needs to do? Curious how I got it to work the first time too

Hello! I am baffled by this issue. Essentially, I am creating a way for my office to check-out certain items (laptop chargers, phone chargers, etc.) using QR codes. I’ve got a form that allows people to use their phones (yay!), and I’ve got an array of QR codes that are just text based and give the name of the item, so every time someone scans them, the text pops up with the item name, and then they answer form questions like:whether the item is being checked out or backed in (the person enters this themselves), the name of the person doing the checkingAnd this is great. My fields track all the information I need, the QR codes work, etc.  BUT I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME LINK these records to my “Equipment” table, which I am making so our tech team can keep an eye on things like:Is this item available or checked out currently? Who was the last person to check it out? When was it last checked out?As you can see, I’ve tried a linked field, but I have to continuously select the Equipment N

I track media hits through a Base with 3 tabs/tables: Reporter Info, Media Campaigns and Articles. I’ve been trying to link these 3 tables so when I enter an article’s URL in the Article table, which also has columns for Media Campaign and Reporter Name, it will automatically fill the article URL and Reporter Name in the Media Campaigns table...and the article URL and media campaign name will appear in the Reporter Info table under the Reporter’s Name. I have managed to link the Articles table to the Media Campaigns, so the article’s URL will auto-fill but the corresponding Reporter field won’t automatically appear for that Campaign. And If I’m on the Reporters page, and select the reporter’s name, I have to enter the Media Campaign name, which then does auto-fill the article URL tied to that media campaign and reporter.But I want all 3 fields to automatically fill in the Reporter & Media Campaign tables, when I enter those fields in the Article Table. Is that possible?   

I have an Airtable automation where I : Filter participation records based on the type of participation. Send a recap email with details specific to each type. Currently, I want to update the record to mark the email as sent. Right now, I need to include the “Update record” action in every conditional block, because Airtable executes actions only inside the branch that matches.Question:Is there a way to have a single “Update record” action at the end of the automation, regardless of which conditional branch was executed (ex : where I wrote HERE on the picture), instead of duplicating it in every branch?I’m looking for a faster, cleaner solution to handle this “final step” without repeating it multiple times.  

Hi all, I am trying to create an automation such that when a person creates a new record in the projects table, a view is automatically created in the tasks table such that any records with that record are filtered to be the only records shown. I figured that this could be done with scripting, but I’m not sure how to create a view in the tasks table with a specific filter applied.

I have an automation that copies fields from one table to another once the checkbox is selected. One of the field is “Marketing, Communications & PR”. When the automation runs, it splits it into two items “Marketing”, “Communications & PR”. I want to have it as one sector when it is copied to the 2nd table. I tried some of the ideas mentioned previously but got confused. I can try “Marketing Communications & PR” which might solve the problem but don’t like it.Is it possible to solve this issue? Thanks a lot.

Hi, I used to be able to download CSV files, but without changing anything, I can’t do it anymore.When I select “Download CSV”, I don’t have the option to name the CSV and that made me choose the file where to save it.I tried with different browsers, private windows, different laptops, cleaning the cache and cookies. I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

I have three Tables. - Commit Items, Invoice Header, and Invoice Detail. Lets assume that For Commit No ACB001 there are 4 Records in Commit Items Table with many records for other Commit Nos.. When the invoice is received for Commit No ABC001 and entered on Invoice Header table with Invoice No and Commit No ABC001, I would like automation to grab four records from Commit Items table and create those 4 records + Invoice number in Invoice Detail table. How do I achieve this? Just a reminder, I am new to AirTable.

Good day.I was tasked to give the following:“Ideally I would like to see the top 15 and the bottom 15 courses delivered per year. So maybe all courses that have a number of time delivered and then a section with all the courses that had no delivery in 2025.” Below, I’ve grouped a grid element by first the year, and the times a course delivered, to at least sort it out.  How, would you all suggest a “pretty” way of achieving the request? 

I have a table called “Tickets” that my team enters project requests. Each ticket has a due date. A second table called “tasks” are specific things that need to be done to complete the project. Some of these tasks must be done a specific number of days (lead time) before the ticket due date to meet the deadline.I have a third table with standard tasks with a field called “lead time” that I use as a template to populate the tasks for each project.I want to be able to automatically enter the task due date based on the pre-defined lead time and the ticket due date. Clients will ask us to make a certain number of social media posts on their behalf, we then want to keep track of how many social media posts have been made and how many are still required for each client contract. Hey. Thank you in advance or your help on connecting data between two tables. Linked records does not seem to apply here, but maybe I’m missing something. I am using Airtable to track disciplinary data for a school. We have two tables, one to track Pink Slips, and a second to track historical Disciplinary Cases. The first table “Pink Slips”, is where new pink slips are entered, using a primary field of a sequential ID assigned by Airtable for each new pink slip. One of the fields in this table is “Student ID”. The second table, “Cases” contains a historical record of all disciplinary cases (some resulting from pink slips), akin to a court case, with all data related to the resulting actions, dates, etc… The primary field in this table is “CaseID”. All of the data in the “Cases” table is imported from a school database, and also contains a “StudentID” field. For reasons that i would rather not get into, the two tables cannot be merged into one. I would like to populate a linked filed with the lookup field coming from different table. How do I automate this

I’m trying to work out if I can create an automation to do multiple tasks or if they all have to be separate (which might max out my allowance)…I have a table which tracks my book contracts. Each contract may have up to 5 titles on it and each title could be produced in up to 6 editions.  I’d like an automation that creates a record in my edition table for each planned edition…So,Test title 1 HardbackTest tile 1 PaperbacketcI can get this to work if each automation is separate but feel like there should be a way to group it somehow. However, at the moment when I try to create a chain it comes up as ‘otherwise’ so it doesn’t run the paperback if there is a hardback. What am I missing?

I am going around and around a lot on this problem and still trying to fin. d the right way to go.I have a table of invoices. The invoices are numbered sequentially. Right now I have to enter each invoice number by hand after checking a summary table I made that lists the latest invoice number used +1 from a formula.I would like to have the “latest number used +1” inserted into the invoice number field of the new invoice being created. I imagine that it I not as hard was I am making it. I will tell you that I am TERRIBLE at automations. I find them unintuitive and frustrating. It’s probably me.But I am guessing that an automation is what I need..So invoice table is “Invoices: House” and summary table is “Invoice: Next invoice Number”. The summary invoice numbers in the “Invoice: Next invoice Number” table are in a rollup field and the Invoice Numbers in the “Invoices: House” field is a numbers field if that matters.Any help is appreciated.Best, Scott

I’m trying to create a form with múltiple tables, I have a table “Responses” that contains fields directly linked to the form, and i have a table “Sectors”, representing the sector that corresponds to that specific response (I have multiple other tables, but it’s not particularly relevant for this question”)When I want to manually add a Sector to a Response, it shows all responses and fields linked to this Sector (image for reference). I would like to know if its posible to just have the name showing, just like if it was a multiple selection field.Disclaimer: I cant use third party options like fillout. Currently:What i want:  

When I use the search extension in Airtable, it works well for finding a record. However, when I click on a record, it shows me the fields, but I would like to be able to edit them. I have a view that is very well organized, and I was hoping to see the record displayed according to that field arrangement, but unfortunately, I haven't found a way to do this.My goal is to quickly search for a record and, upon clicking it, display the specific information I need. So far, I haven't been able to organize the displayed information in the way I want.

I’m looking for help with integrations: My nonprofit uses Airtable heavily to track lists of people and their contact information. We also use MailChimp to send out updates to our partners, newsletter subscribers, etc. using that contact information. My question is this: Is there a simple way to establish a “Two-Way Sync” between Airtable and MailChimp so that they will always contain the same data, regardless of changes made on either side? I need a true “sync” that will: Update MailChimp with any changes entered in Airtable (add, remove, edit), and Update Airtable with any changes entered in MailChimp (subscribe, remove, edit). I’d rather pay a small fee per month for an established app to do this than build it in Zapier/Make, but either way is fine if it works. TIA, M p.s. If you know of a fix for this with an email marketing program other than MailChimp, please let me know. p.p.s. As of today’s writing, Outfunnel can do most but not all of this (like adding un/subscribes to Airta
